E PLURIBUS UNUM

In sticking with the message I was receiving this weekend. This came to me while I slept last night, E PLURIBUS UNUM. Which means, we the many are as ONE. Our founding fathers had great intentions when designing and creating the foundational premise for our country, The United States of America. E PLURIBUS UNUM is imprinted on all of our currency, along with 'In God We Trust'.

We ALL may not have been originally included or thought of when our country was founded. Nevertheless, whether our ancestors came here on their own accord in search of freedom or against their will, WE are ALL still here and this, the United States of America is OUR country! We have ALL chosen to remain here. Therefore, it is OUR right to demand that OUR Civil Servants in all levels of government do the right thing. They work for us. We pay their salaries.

However, WE too are held responsible to help re-build our society, our communities and regain what has been lost. Get involved! From attending community meetings, finding out what your Local City Councilperson is doing to IMPROVE your community all the way up to the President.

Greed, fraud and selfishness did NOT only occur within our government at all levels, it was ALSO rampant outside of government in the business sector. Ethics needs to be reclaimed, recited and implemented in order for everything to be reconciled. What good are the written words in our Constitution, Declaration of Independence and Codes of Ethics if they are not implemented. Click here to read the United States Charters of Freedom.

Transparency is necessary if WE are ever to be able to TRUST our government and businesses. There is NO question, everyone responsible for this mess around the World NEEDS to be held accountable! There is NO doubt in my mind that they will. God is ultimately in control and justice will prevail.

My grandmother used to always say, "If somebody takes advantages of you the first time, SHAME on them. If that same person takes advantages of you again, SHAME on you!".

What's done is done. There is NOTHING to be gained in complaining or in having a pity party. I am not anymore happier than you are about our situation here in the United States or the rest of the World. Nonetheless, WE can ALL take action. WE are NOT helpless and WE are NOT victims. We ALL have a clear choice. Together WE can and WILL make a difference that WILL change the course of our history. What IS needed NOW more than ever is government responsibility, corporate responsibility and social responsibility!
