Until then, let's enjoy my Disco playlist on my YouTube channel. 😘

I will be having a great year doing whatever it is that puts a smile on my face. 😊

BIG hugs! Hope you enjoy yourselves too.
Life is way too short. Dance. 🎉😘✨💖

Listen, I know there is a lot of upheavel going on this world. But what good is it for me to get worked up about situations I have absolutely no control over. I can pray over the situations and pray for the people suffering from them. But even the people being oppressed need to keep a glimmer of joy in their hearts. Because what those causing them pain and suffering want most is for them to have their joy to be extinguished permanently. They are counting on that in order to maintain total control. Even during your turbulent times you must be able to see the humor in the situation. Turn it around. Don't let them steal your joy. Now let's have a party. It's my birthday! 🥰🌟
I wanted to make you smile, so I threw in a lovely reminder of
where my joy comes from. ;)

The lead singer of the rock band Life of Agony is detransitioning more than a decade after coming out as transgender.

Mina Caputo, 50, revealed he will be living life as a male again, citing his gender dysphoria “has been cured” and announcing he has already started the process.

“Surgery has been booked to remove my fake breasts, and I will be lovingly living in my divine male self,” the rocker said in a video on Instagram, per Daily Mail.

“I’ve cured my gender dysphoria. It took many years. A lot of walking through the fire, but I rose above my misunderstandings of my soul and my spirit.”

Caputo was born Keith in Dec. 1973 and began identifying as Mina in 2008. The musician publicly came out as transgender in 2011.

He posted the announcement in response to his followers, who began leaving comments about his appearance and claiming he looked like a man.

“I’m making this video because a lot of people throwing me shade, saying I look ugly, and I look like a man,” Caputo shared.

“It’s like honey lamb, I am a man, I always was a man. You’re just not used to hearing authentic people speak. You’re used to people spitting lies at you about their identity,” he shared.

Caputo told his followers that he’s been off of hormones for several years, adding his detransition process will be complete next year.

“Yes, I’m off of hormones, six, seven years now and this January 2025 and I am — my surgery has been booked to remove my fake breasts and I will be lovingly living in my divine male self,” the singer stated.

“I’ll be physically completely detransitioned in 2025. I can’t wait. I feel so free.”

The band’s lead singer said he’s “very proud” of himself.

“I’ve been through so much over the years. I wouldn’t wish gender dysphoria on my worst enemy. It’s one of the most uncomfortable things I’ve ever been through in my life, and I’m just so happy that it is f–king over.”

Life of Agony’s bassist and co-founder Alan Robert showed his support for Caputo’s transition in the comment section.

“Proud of your journey and your raw honesty,” Robert wrote. “Always here for you no matter what. We ain’t blood but we are real family.”

Detransitioning is the process of stopping or reversing gender transition, whether it be social, medical, surgical, or legal changes.

Life of Agony is an American alternative metal band from Brooklyn formed in 1989. The group is known for albums like “A Place Where There’s No More Pain” (2017) and “The Sound of Scars” (2019).

A man found dead after his Laurel Canyon house was badly damaged in a fire Wednesday afternoon was a member of the prominent Rothschild banking family, neighbors said.

The body discovered at the Lookout Mountain Avenue property was that of William Rothschild, three people told The Times on Thursday. A magazine seen at the property was addressed to “WM DE ROTHSCHILD.”

The Rothschilds, a sprawling Jewish family originally from Frankfurt, Germany, long dominated European banking, with its English and French branches playing major roles in finance and politics, most notably during the 18th and 19th centuries. At one point, the Rothschilds were widely considered to have amassed the largest private fortune on Earth.

Today, the family is spread across the globe and maintains interests in financial services, energy, real estate and other sectors, while several of its prominent members have become high society and philanthropic fixtures in London, Paris and beyond. The Rothschild fortune, now divided among many heirs, is said to be worth billions of dollars.

The burned-out residence, described by a real estate listing service as an 825-square-foot, two-bedroom property worth about $1 million, seemingly had little of the opulence befitting a descendant of the world’s most powerful bankers. The Hollywood Hills home was bedraggled and sooty a day after the blaze, which, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department, was put out by 45 firefighters in a little more than 30 minutes around 5 p.m.

Video of the conflagration, shared by a neighbor who requested anonymity over privacy concerns, showed flames in several places along the front of the brick and stucco structure, which is perched above street level and accessed by a long set of tiled stairs. As the blaze unfolded, the resident said, she saw “huge flames” and heard “glass shattering” — and watched as another neighbor held a hose and monitored the fire’s progress. The woman, who didn’t know Rothschild, had quickly called 911.

Another neighbor, Dana Gladstone, said he was at home during the incident but didn’t see the fire. Still, he said he heard a woman say, “Oh my God, that’s awful!”

“She was probably given the news that he passed,” said Gladstone, who has long lived on the street.

Voter registration records show that William A. De Rothschild, listed as 87, has resided at the burned house. Another database shows a 77-year-old man with a similar name owning the property. The deceased man will be formally identified and his cause of death determined by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner.

The office did not respond to requests seeking comment. A woman whose name appears in the records for the Lookout Mountain house also did not return a telephone call seeking comment. The cause of the fire is being investigated by the Los Angeles Police Department and the Fire Department.

The scent of smoke hung in the air Thursday as passersby stopped to take in the scene and neighbors tried to make sense of the incident. Gladstone said Rothschild was in his late 70s and devoted to his dog, an Afghan hound. He was a friendly man who described himself as a graduate of Yale University, Gladstone said.

“The guy was attached to his dog,” said Gladstone. “I knew him as Will.”

A portion of the home, located near Wonderland Avenue Elementary School and built in 1937, was smoldering Thursday morning, prompting a neighbor to call the authorities. Within minutes, firefighters arrived on the scene and extinguished what one of them said was a decorative piece of wood.

Rothschild, neighbors said, maintained a vintage car collection, storing some at his house and others up the street at another property that was ornamented with busts of great thinkers including Raphael and Michelangelo — and several security cameras. Two people said his holdings included a red Porsche that had once been owned by Michael Jordan.

The basketball superstar has owned several Porsche 911s over the years, including a red one that sold at auction last year for $500,000, according to reports.

The Fire Department said no other injuries were reported. But one neighbor said that Rothschild’s dog hadn’t been seen since the incident.

I'm Having My Own Thanksgiving Day Twilight Zone Marathon Thanks To Freevee Who Has ALL 5 Seasons Available Streaming For Free. :D

For the seventh year in a row, I was shocked when I found out that no network was having a Twilight Zone marathon this Thanksgiving day. Shocked I tell you. 😱 It's been an American tradition for as long as I can remember. I really need to buy my very own Twilight Zone complete original series DVD box set. Because you never know this series has too many truths and the Commies of the world would love to get it banned. I'm also buying Golden Girls complete series DVD box set to own because Blanche was a Southern Belle and well you know the hyper-sensitive outrage community Commies on the Left will get this series banned too. For those of you who don't know, this is called CENSORSHIP.

But do not despair my fellow Twilight Zone lovers! You can watch all 5 seasons of Twilight Zone episodes streaming on Paramount Plus for a small fee to have your own TZ marathon today! If you have a Walmart+ membership, Paramount Plus subscription is free with that membership. PlutoTV has all 5 seasons available to watch for free. I just checked and it looks like Amazon Prime and Freevee now offers all 5 seasons of Twilight Zone episodes for free with ads.  Yay. You can find Freevee app on your Amazon stick, Roku, Smart TV or at the weblink I gave you here. THIS IS NOT A PAID ADVERTISEMENT. I'm just sharing what is available to us. I'm creating my own Twilight Zone HEAVEN this Thanksgiving holiday weekend. :D Hope you're all doing whatever it is that puts a smile on your face and makes you happy. Sending you lots and lots of love and a big hug. ❤

I have shared my top three favorite episodes: The Obsolete ManTo Serve Man, and Time Enough at Last. Although, I have to say that ALL of the Twilight Zone episodes are AMAZING and sublime! Rod Serling was a prophetic storytelling/writing genius! I would also like to point out that the acting was SUPERB! They had GREAT producers and directors! It's like they all shared the same vision. :D

Twilight Zone - The Obsolete Man (1961) video above.

Rod Serling intro: "You walk into this room at your own risk. Because it leads to the future. Not a future that will be, but one that might be. This is not a new world. It is simply an extension of what began in the old one. It has patterned itself after every dictator who has ever planted the ripping imprint of a boot on the pages of history since the beginning of time. It has refinements, technological advances and a more sophisticated approach to the destruction of human freedom. But like every one of the super States that preceded it, it has one iron rule, LOGIC is an enemy and TRUTH is a menace."

Rod Serling closing statement: "The Chancellor, the late Chancellor was only partly correct. He was obsolete. But so was the State, the Entity he worshipped. Any State, any Entity, any Ideology that FAILS to recognize the worth, the dignity, the rights of man, that State is obsolete. A case to be filed under M for MANKIND in the Twilight Zone."
I took this screenshot above from TVguide.com showing where you can stream Twilight Zone episodes.
This United Nations quote I shared with you above is an example of what Rod Serling was describing. This is what the Communist Globalist Depopulation Eugenics Agenda Monsters are imposing upon us now with, The Great Reset.
Now this Twilight Zone episode titled, To Serve Man, reminds me of the Global Warming/Climate Change scam perpetrated by the United Nations. I too was hoodwinked by the Global Warming campaign years ago. They used my love for nature and humankind to make me believe their garbage scientific data was meant to "save the planet". It wasn't until I took the time to do some digging of my own and found out who Maurice Strong is and was led to UN Agenda 21. I went to the United Nations website and read up on their UN Agenda 21 and I couldn't believe what I was reading directly from the source. My eyes were opened wide from that point on and left me feeling violated and betrayed by those people in positions of power who knowing better still pushed this scam upon the global human population for their own personal gain AND depopulation agenda! They want to control everything, how we live, what we eat, how we farm, how you raise your children, what your children are taught. Watch Soylent Green (1973) to get an idea of how disgusted "they" are with human beings and what they have planned for us all. Based on the Georgia Guidestones they blew up and had removed not restored, they want to keep 500 million human beings on this planet. There are currently 8 BILLION human beings on this planet. I want you to think about this for a moment. These people who are disgusted with human beings, who call us useless meat eaters, and see us as parasites will have no problem exterminating us without a second thought. They have already been using several methods to control the global human population growth.

I felt like the lady at the end of this Twilight Zone episode shouting, "Mr. Chamber's, Mr. Chamber's, don't get on that ship. The rest of the book, To Serve Man.... It's... It' cookbook."
GlobalAwareness101 published: Club of Rome NWO depopulation agenda. I customized this background, description and added the captions that I proofread for you.

These are the globalist Climate Change Luciferian (aka Satan) worshipping psychopaths censoring us who oppose their diabolical scheme to depopulate human beings and keep those still living under totalitarian rule.

It is not a theory. It's an actual conspiracy against humanity.

I typed a transcript for you:

HE SAID: "I can speak honestly. So usually speaking something which happened in the past could happen again, generally. That could happen or epidemics. I don't know what it will be. But in one way or another we are so far, globally, we are so far above the population and the consumption levels which can be supported by this planet. But I know one way or another it's going to come back down. I DON'T HOPE TO AVOID THAT.

I hope that it can occur in a civil way. And I mean civil in a special way, peaceful. Peaceful doesn't mean that everyone is happy. The planet can support something like a billion people. Maybe 2 billion DEPENDING ON HOW MUCH LIBERTY, AND HOW MUCH MATERIAL CONSUMPTION YOU WANT TO HAVE.

If you want more liberty and more consumption, you have to have fewer people. Conversely, you can have more people, I mean we can even have 8 or 9 billion probably IF WE HAVE A VERY STRONG DICTATORSHIP which is smart. But if you have a very strong dictatorship and A LOW STANDARD OF LIVING.

But we want to have freedom and we want to have a high standard of living, SO WE'RE GOING TO HAVE ONE BILLION PEOPLE and we're now at 7 billion. SO WE HAVE TO GET BACK DOWN. I hope that this can be slow. Relatively slow. And that it can be done in a way which is relatively equal. So that people share the experience. But THAT'S WHAT LIES AHEAD."

Thanksgiving Day Humor! :)

Happy Thanksgiving Day Everybody! :) ❤

Happy Thanksgiving Day everybody! May your day be filled with tons of love, joy and laughter! Look around you and you will find many many things to be thankful for... the most basic is thanking God for the mere fact you wake up every day and have been blessed with the gift of LIFE.

I would like to publicly thank God almighty first and foremost for loving me unconditionally, for never giving up on me, for always believing in me and for taking care of all of my needs. I also thank God for blessing me with a great mom, great meow's, great friends, a creative mind, a free spirit and a loving heart. I can't forget to thank all of my readers from all around the world for all of your love and support. You are greatly appreciated. ❤❤❤

This may be a national holiday for giving thanks, a day of reflecting. Nevertheless, we must make it a point to give thanks to God every day of our lives for even the most basic needs fulfilled daily. Here are a few examples of what we could be thankful for daily: a roof over our head, a warm comfy bed to sleep in, clean running water, a toilet that flushes, electricity, a refrigerator to store food, a stove to cook, a microwave, a television, a radio, a computer, the internet, a phone to communicate with others, paved roads, traffic lights, the kindness of others, smiles, laughter, music, entertainment, the Twilight Zone... you get the picture, don't you? We can get really deep if you want and we can thank God for our sight, our hearing, our sense of smell, our sense of taste, our sense of touch. Thank Him that we are in good health or how about thanking God for giving us another day to enjoy.

Love you! Hope you have a GREAT day! :) ❤

PHOENIX — In April 2023, 22-year-old Mercedes Vega was kidnapped, tortured and murdered. Her body was found inside of a burning car on the I-10 freeway near Tonopah, west of Phoenix. She was last seen alive on surveillance footage from her Tempe apartment complex while walking to her car.

Her family said she was attacked and taken moments after the video cut off. Her murder has remained unsolved until now.

“It's a terrible, terrible, horrible, horrific club to be a part of," said Erika Pillsbury, Vega's mother. "Losing a child is, there's no words.”

The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office made a break in the high-profile case and announced the arrest of 22-year-old Sencere Hayes.

MCSO's homicide unit found Hayes in Tennessee and arrested him on November 11 on a first-degree murder charge. Vega's parents tell 12News Hayes was a stranger to them and their daughter.

More arrests are expected in the case.

“It does give us some peace to know that the player that probably had the most to do with it is in custody," said Tom Pillsbury. “I believe that we are very, very close to having all parties arrested.”

Tennessee, Alabama court records shed light on suspect's history

Hayes is from Chattanooga, Tennessee, and has a lengthy criminal record in that area.

His adult history dates back to at least May of 2021 when he was 18. He was arrested in DeKalb County, Alabama, and was indicted in February of 2022 for receiving a stolen gun, along with drug charges.

Records show the district attorney determined they would no longer prosecute him after an issue with an investigator on the case. A nolle prosequi was entered, meaning the prosecution was no longer pursuing a case against Hayes.

An Alabama court clerk originally told 12News that the investigator working Hayes' case was arrested, but later clarified he was not, but he was no longer working for the DeKalb County Sheriff's Office. All of that investigator's cases had a nolle prosequi entered, meaning they were dismissed, according to the clerk, and more than 100 cases were affected.

The Alabama case was dismissed on April 10, 2023, days before Vega was murdered. The court clerk told 12News Hayes had been out on bond but had failed to appear for an arraignment so there had been a warrant out for his arrest. That warrant was recalled once the case was nolle prossed.

In May of 2024, Hayes was arrested by the Chattanooga Police Department, records show. Police responded to a shots-fired incident and were ultimately led to Hayes. He was found with multiple weapons and one of them was stolen, according to court documents. Hayes was arrested and then released on a $5,000 bond.

Weeks later, Hayes was arrested again by the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office for driving under the influence and speeding. He, again, was found illegally possessing a firearm.

Man accused of robbing Vega years before her death is from same Tennessee city as murder suspect Hayes' arrest comes as another suspect accused of robbing Vega at gunpoint is still awaiting trial.

That suspect, Cudjoe Young, is also from Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Police say in 2020, Young followed Vega as she left the club where she worked and then robbed her at gunpoint outside of her home. The following month, another dancer at the same club Vega worked at was targeted.

Vega assisted police in their investigation by flagging unusual activity on her cash apps and ultimately identified Young in a photo lineup.

Young was charged with armed robbery and attempt to commit armed robbery.

At the time of Vega's death in April of 2023, she was aiding in the prosecution of Young. He was out of custody and wearing an ankle monitor when she was killed.

12News has repeatedly asked MCSO if there is any connection between the armed robbery and murder cases but authorities have declined to comment.

In November 2023, Young was arrested in a Tempe PD narcotics operation and is accused of facilitating a large-scale drug transaction involving 40,000 fentanyl pills.

He has been held without bail ever since.

He appeared in court on Monday for the armed robbery case. Young's defense attorney said they are awaiting an offer from the state and will meet in December for a settlement conference.

ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. — A St. Johns County courtroom was packed Friday, as a 20-year-old man was sentenced to life in prison for stabbing his ex-girlfriend, Madison Schemitz, who was in high school at the time, her mother and a good Samaritan who intervened in the incident outside of a Ponte Vedra Beach restaurant in 2023.

Spencer Pearson was sentenced on charges of attempted first-degree murder with a weapon (two counts) and aggravated battery causing serious injury with a weapon after changing his plea from not guilty to guilty July 10.

St. Johns County Judge R. Lee Smith said he gave a "tremendous" amount of thought and this was an "extremely difficult" case.

Pearson's attorneys had asked that the court go below the minimum sentence for his crimes. Smith said Pearson requires specialized treatment for his mental health condition. He did not agree with other points made and said the defense's argument did not meet the threshold to deviate from the minimum sentence.

In denying this motion, Smith pointed out that Schemitz had tried to help Pearson when he attempted suicide. "The same person that tried to save his life, he violently attacked," he said. He said that without the intervention of Kennedy Armstrong, the good Samaritan who helped stop the attack, and Schemitz's mother, Pearson would have killed her.

Smith complimented Pearson's counsel for their arguments on his behalf, demonstrating he was "clearly" suffering from a "depressive state of mind," and asking the judge to consider his age and the fact he had no violent history. "This court does not impose a sentence based on vengeance," Smith said.

He said he had carefully considered the mitigation the case. "But the crime that was committed, the impact that this crime has had on Madison, Jacki and Kennedy... It just far outweighs any of the mitigation that this court has considered. There are just certain crimes that are committed that merit the maximum sentence. And this court finds that this is one of them."

After the sentence was read, Pearson's mother could be heard crying and saying, "I love you, Spencer."

He was allowed to hug his parents goodbye before he was taken out of the courtroom.

Schemitz was seen hugging her family as court convened.

What happened?

On June 3, 2023, Madison Schemitz and her mother, Jacki Rogé, attempted to leave Mr. Chubby's Wings in Ponte Vedra Beach when they saw Pearson. According to police records, Pearson charged at them and stabbed Schemitz, as Rogé was stabbed in the forehead and leg trying to protect her daughter.

Kennedy Armstrong, the good Samaritan, suffered hand injuries in the attack.

Pearson's arrest warrant says he reportedly began to follow and harass Maddison Schemitz in April 2023.

Casey Estep, who was eating with Schemitz and Rogé at the restaurant shortly before the stabbing, previously told First Coast News that when Schemitz and her mom spotted Pearson, "They were like, 'Oh, we’ve got to go.'"

Estep said they asked for the check and tried to quietly leave, but before cashing out, Pearson took off running toward Schemitz and her mom.

Pearson's warrant also says that he slit his own throat several times during the incident.

Defense argues Pearson has CTE for shorter sentence

Going into Friday, the defense planned to argue that Pearson has CTE (chronic traumatic encephalopathy), a brain disease, from playing tackle football.

During Pearson's father's testimony, he told the courtroom Pearson started playing tackle football at six years old and stopped playing at 18. He said Pearson was hit in the head "roughly 10,000" times over the course of the 12 years he played football, and said he made the calculation based on "the number of games, number of practices" his son had.

The defense called on Dr. Mark Rubino, a neurologist who described the MRI results he observed from Pearson. He said Pearson has a pinched nerve or a spinal cord injury, which leads to brain trauma, and that could be a result for erratic actions and depression.

'I know you've had to go through a world of hurt'

After testifying about Pearson's hits to the head he suffered while playing football, Pearson's father issued an apology to Schemitz, her mom and Armstrong who were all present in the courtroom front row.

To Schemitz, he said: "I'm so sorry, I'm so sorry this happened to you. Madison, you were always so sweet... coming over, you were such a beautiful person to be around. You were so good to our family. I'm sorry this happened to you. I think about you every day. I pray for you every day. You're a sweet soul. You're a beautiful person, I know that. I'm sorry."

To Rogé, he said: "And Jacki, I'm sorry, I'm so sorry. I know you've had to go through a world of hurt. And just dealing with all of this, I'm sorry. I pray for you to have peace and forgiveness, and I just can't say I'm sorry enough. Y'all don't deserve this."

To Armstrong, he said: "Kennedy, thank you. Thank you for saving multiple lives. You are a hero. And I believe you also saved my son, I know you didn't intend to, but I thank you for that."

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) —The family of the couple killed downtown on Wednesday spoke out just a day after their murders.

Police identified the pair Thursday afternoon as 31-year-old Rachael Martinez and 39-year-old Jose Medina.

Thursday night, their loved ones gathered at the scene of their murders for a small vigil, leaving flowers and candles to mark the spot where the two lost their lives.

The couple leaves behind four children; the oldest is 15, and the youngest is just 3 years old. ABC 10News spoke with Rachael's sister, Charlene Martinez, at the vigil.

"They can’t believe that it’s true. Last night I was up until 3 in the morning because the babies were up and crying, like waking up," says Martinez about the couple's children.

Martinez says the family never saw this crime coming and wonders if the system failed her sister and brother-in-law.

Both reported the suspect, who Rachael once dated, saying he'd been harassing them. He had been arrested and accused of domestic violence, including false imprisonment and sex crimes.

Martinez says her sister was the family hostess and a fantastic cook, and her brother-in-law was the life of the party, who loved to grab the mic and sing at family gatherings.

The family's focus is now on the couple's four children, currently in the care of Rachael's sister.

"Just kissed them last night, gave them a kiss to everyone, and I told them 'I love you and your tía is going to be here,'" says Martinez about her nieces and nephews.

The Chicano Federation is raising money for the children. If you'd like to donate, click here. The family has also set up its own GoFundMe page, saying all proceeds will go to funeral expenses and the children.

Both the San Diego Police Department and San Diego Sheriff's Office have resources available for victims of domestic violence.

One person has been arrested, and two others are being sought in connection with a deadly quadruple shooting in the French Quarter.

Police said Nicholas Miorana was arrested in connection to the shooting on Thursday.

NOPD said Miorana was wearing an ankle monitor and was found in a car on I-10 West and Crowder Boulevard.

The search continues for Daniel Miorana and Darrell Adams.

NOPD Superintendent Anne Kirkpatrick held a news conference on Friday, where she provided an update on the victims as well as the search for the remaining suspects.

A 27-year-old woman died, and three other victims were shot. The ages of the victims range from 24 to 40. According to Kirkpatrick, those injured are considered stable at this time.

She would not release which victim was targeted in the shooting, but Kirkpatrick did confirm that the shooting was not random.

Police have not released the identity of the woman killed.

Kirkpatrick also touted community partners with crime cameras as well as diligent police work for the quick apprehension of the first suspect, Nicholas Miorana.

According to Kirkpatrick, crime cameras from Project NOLA and the Real Time Crime Center allowed NOPD to find the suspect's car just 38 minutes after the crime happened.

Within an hour of the shooting happening, Kirkpatrick said Nicholas Miorana was taken into custody.

Kirkpatrick confirmed that Nicholas Miorana and Daniel Miorana are brothers.

She said she believes they are close to finding both Daniel Miorana and Adams.

Adams is also sought in connection with a shooting that happened on Sept. 25 in the 7700 block of Dorsett Street, according to Kirkpatrick.

Crimestoppers is also offering a $5,000 reward leading to their arrests.

According to Orleans Parish District Attorney Jason Williams, his office prosecuted Nicholas Miorana for crimes committed in the past but was only able to secure probation.

Williams said he was on an ankle monitor through ASAP monitoring and skipped court multiple times while on house arrest.

According to Williams, his office asked the judge presiding over Nicholas Miorana's case to revoke his probation but was not successful.

"When that violation happens, we need the courts to respond quickly and hear us. This is a problem with the judicial response to the violation. When we ask for the probation to be revoked, they need to listen," Williams said.

Williams also warned that anyone caught helping those still sought faces prosecution themselves.

He warns that technologies, such as those used by the Real-Time Crime Center and his office, have increased the chance of holding criminals accountable.

Speaking directly to the friends and family of Daniel Miorana and Darrell Adams, Williams begged them not to help them escape.

"Please do not ruin your life helping or assisting these individuals. They already ruined theirs. If you know their location, contact law enforcement immediately. Do not help them. Anyone aiding them or abetting them, giving them a ride, place to hide, or food to eat, you will be prosecuted for supporting them. We as a community have to realize this is us against them, New Orleans against them," Williams said.

Logan Harrington said she and her friends were heading to lunch when they heard the gunfire erupt.

"It was probably 30 to 40 rounds within two or three minutes. I never thought it would be within five feet of me. I mean, I looked, and he was right there. I never thought it would've happened," Harrington said.

New Orleans Mayor LaToya Cantrell released a video statement at least five hours after the incident. The mayor says she issued "thoughts and prayers" to the shooting victims.

The three suspects are wanted on the following charges relative to second-degree murder and three counts of attempted second-degree murder.

Councilman Freddie King represents the area and believes this sort of crime is hard to prevent.

"I don't know if police presence would have prevented this shooting because these individuals wanted to do this," King said.

The shooting is the third in less than a week that injured multiple people. NOPD Kirkpatrick said she wants to put an end to violence now.

"I'm going to do everything in my ability to bring peace to this city," Kirkpatrick said.

Kirkpatrick said Friday that she understands the community's concerns but that crime overall is down year over year.

"As of today, we have had 115 murders in the city. When you compare it to this time last year, we were at 181 murders. In the month of November 2023, we had 20 murders. Today, we have nine for the month," said Kirkpatrick.

Several law enforcement agencies worked with the NOPD on the case, including Louisiana State Police and FBI New Orleans.

NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — A manhunt is underway for 21-year-old Daniel Miorana and 23-year-old Darrell Adams following a deadly mass shooting in the French Quarter Thursday. Police have already arrested another suspect, 28-year-old Nicholas Miorana.

Orleans Parish District Attorney Jason Williams credits Project NOLA’s crime cameras for assisting the NOPD in Miorana’s arrest.

“A huge force multiplier in this effort in collecting valuable evidence about who did this, and getting us the things that we will need to prosecute this case in the future,” said Williams.

However, Williams expressed frustration about Nicholas Miorana being let out on an ankle monitor as his office had requested that Miorana remain in jail.

“When we say to a judge, we believe this person is dangerous, we believe this person may hurt someone. We’re not making it up. Probation and parole. Asked that he be revoked, because he was in violation of the judge over our objection,” said Williams.

Williams is not the only person who criticizes the decision.

ASAP is the company that placed the ankle monitor on Nicholas Miorana.

According to ASAP’s owner Matthew Dennis, Miorana had been accused of multiple crimes over the last two months. Documents show each reported incident was sent to the judge.

“Before he got the ankle monitor on you knew he was a problem. After he got the ankle monitor on you knew he was a problem. You continued to leave him alone and the only way it stopped is when he killed someone. We can’t let that happen. It has to stop,” said Dennis.

The District Attorney’s Office says Adams is also wanted in connection to a separate shooting that occurred in New Orleans East in September. They are sending a clear message to anyone who might be helping Adams and Daniel Miorana.

“We will look at all crimes available. Keep in mind accessory after the fact is 0 to 5, but aiding others in terrorism has a penalty of 10 to 50 years in the Department of Corrections,” said Orleans Parish District Attorney’s Office Homicide Unit Chief Matthew Derbes.

All three suspects face one count each of second-degree murder and three counts of attempted second-degree murder.

Two people were killed and 11 others were wounded in two separate shootings along a New Orleans parade route and celebration attended by thousands on Sunday, authorities said. There were no immediate arrests.

Officers responding to reports of gunfire shortly after 3:30 p.m. on an avenue in the city's St. Roch neighborhood found eight victims with gunshot wounds, according to a news release from the New Orleans Police Department. All eight were taken to hospitals in unknown condition. Police later said a ninth wounded person arrived at a hospital via a private car.

CBS New Orleans affiliate WWL-TV reports that, according to investigators, ballistics showed that two shooters were involved.

About 45 minutes later, police received another report of gunfire as revelers were crossing the Almonaster Avenue Bridge, just over half a mile to the north. One person died at the scene and another died at a hospital, police said. A third victim was driven to a hospital in a private vehicle and was in stable condition, police said.

No arrests were announced and no suspect information was released.

The St. Roch neighborhood is several blocks northeast of the city's French Quarter that is popular with tourists.

The Almonaster Bridge was closed in both directions during the investigation.

Police Superintendent Anne Kirkpatrick said detectives didn't immediately know if the incidents were related.

"They were ... different kinds of approaches," she said of the shootings, which occurred in the area where a "second line," a celebration following a parade, was taking place.

Thousands had gathered for the annual outing of the Nine Times Social Aid & Pleasure Club in the 9th Ward, organizer Oscar Brown told NOLA.com.

"It is a wonderful event, and we want to keep it a wonderful event," Kirkpatrick said.

It was the second major shooting in the South since gunfire marred a homecoming weekend at Tuskegee University in Alabama on Nov. 10, killing one person and injuring 16 others, a dozen of them by gunfire, authorities said.

One person was killed and several others, including students, were injured when a barrage of gunfire erupted early Sunday on the campus of Tuskegee University in Alabama, marring the school's centennial homecoming festivities, authorities said.

The shooting unfolded around 1:40 a.m. on the Macon County campus as homecoming activities, including a football game Saturday afternoon between Tuskegee and Alabama's Miles College, were winding down, officials said.

16 people were injured, twelve of those were shot according to Alabama Law Enforcement Agency's State Bureau of Investigation.

An 18-year-old died at the scene.

One man has arrested and charged with possession of a machine gun in connection to the shooting, authorities said in an update Sunday afternoon.

According to transmissions provided by Broadcastify multiple shooters were suspected to have been involved. Officials have not confirmed.

"There's going to be two shooters at this time, maybe more," one officer said in a radio call, according to transmissions provided by Broadcastify.

The on-campus shooting resulted in "the death of a non-university individual," the university said in a statement released early Sunday.

"The parents of this individual have been notified," the statement read. "Several others including Tuskegee University students were injured and are receiving treatment at East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika and Baptist South Hospital in Montgomery."

Several videos posted on social media captured what sounded like numerous gunshots being fired and showed people diving to the ground or taking cover in vehicles.

At the request of the Macon County Sheriff's Office, special agents from ALEA's Bureau of Investigation are probing the shooting and working to identify suspects.

"Special Agents are still in the process of gathering and examining information relative to the sequence of events which ultimately led to the shooting. The scene has now been secured by several law enforcement agencies. At this time, no arrests have been made," ALEA said.

University officials added, "The university is in the process of completing student accountability and notifying parents. Further updates will be provided as more information becomes available."

TUSKEGEE, Ala. (WSFA) - An arrest has been made after a shooting on the campus of Tuskegee University left one person dead and 16 others injured, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.

Jaquez Myrick, 25, of Montgomery, has been arrested and charged federally with possession of a machine gun. Authorities say Myrick was found in possession of a handgun with a machine gun conversion device.

He is not charged for firing or using the gun in the shooting.

Law enforcement officers found him leaving the scene of the shooting, ALEA confirmed Sunday afternoon. Myrick is being held at the Montgomery County Detention Facility for another agency, a sheriff’s office spokesperson said.

Macon County Sheriff André Brunson said he believes there are multiple suspects in the shooting.

“If you‘ve seen some of the videos, there was shooting all over the place. So, I think there will be multiple suspects,” he said. “We’re going to deal with it and try to get every last one of them.”

Agents with ALEA’s State Bureau of Investigation were notified of the shooting around 1:40 a.m. Sunday.

Officials say an 18-year-old was confirmed dead at the scene. Macon County authorities have identified him as La’Tavion Johnson. He was a graduate of Charles Henderson High School in Troy.

University officials said Johnson was not a student at Tuskegee University.

A total of 16 other people were injured in the incident. 12 were shot and taken to hospitals in Montgomery and Opelika. Four other people sustained injuries that were not related to gunfire.

Tuskegee University announced that all classes on Monday and Tuesday will be canceled for mental health days and to allow law enforcement to continue processing the scene. Grief counselors will be available virtually and in-person in the chapel.
“As we navigate this challenge as a family, keep your classmates in mind as some work to heal physically and mentally from this event. The same applies to faculty and staff. The university experienced an exceptional Homecoming weekend, and this event has tarnished it. Asking for help is a sign of strength and not weakness. Standing strong together is also the Tuskegee Way.”

Statement from Tuskegee University
Tuskegee University President Dr. Mark A. Brown and other local leaders spoke Monday about changes being made to the campus' security procedures.

ALEA is asking for the public’s help in the case. Anyone with information is asked to submit tips at 1-800-CALL-FBI and upload any digital files regarding the incident online at fbi.gov/tuskegeeshooting24.

The following agencies are assisting ALEA in the investigation: Tuskegee University Police Department, Tuskegee Police Department, Macon County Sheriff’s Office, Federal Bureau of Investigation Mobile Office, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, the Fifth Judicial Circuit and the Alabama Attorney General’s Office.

The private university, located in Macon County, about 40 miles from Alabama’s capital city, celebrated its 100th homecoming on Saturday.

Reaction

Miles College, who Tuskegee played in the homecoming football game, released a statement Sunday. A number of state officials and lawmakers also reacted to the shooting.
