An employee at a Hamtramck charter school who is active in politics and community advocacy is out on bail after being charged with sexually assaulting a male student, police and prosecutors said.

Ibrahim Aljahim, 37, of Hamtramck, was charged Sept. 21 with two counts of criminal sexual conduct in the first degree involving a victim who is mentally disabled, court records show. The victim is a teenage male, said Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy's office on Thursday.

The morning of Sept. 18, officials at Oakland International Academy's high school in Hamtramck on the corner of Florian and Lathem contacted Hamtramck Police, said the Wayne County Prosecutor's Office in a statement.

"While there, the officers investigated an allegation against Aljahim, who is employed as a student liaison with the school," said the statement. "It is alleged that on September 18, 2019, Aljahim had inappropriate sexual contact with an 18-year-old male student on school property during school hours."

Wayne County prosecutors said the victim was mentally disabled and that Aljahim was "in a position of authority over the victim."

The school's principal, Larry Cowger, said the alleged incident took place inside a vehicle and involved a sexual act.

Aljahim could not be reached for comment Thursday.

Aljahim is active in Arab American and Yemeni American community advocacy, often meeting with politicians and government officials. On Wednesday, he attended the rally with Bernie Sanders at a UAW picket line in Hamtramck.

"We're at the Bernie Sanders rally to support UAW workers," Aljahim said Wednesday in a video posted on his Facebook page.

On his social media pages, he has photos of himself with a range of elected officials and government leaders, including Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, Hillary Clinton, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Detroit Mayor Mike Duggan, State Rep. Issac Robinson, U.S. Rep. Debbie Dingell, D-Dearborn, U.S. Rep. Andy Levin, D-Bloomfield Twp.

According to his Facebook page, he had worked as a public relations officer for the American Human Rights Council, an Arab American civil rights group in Dearborn. As of Thursday afternoon, that reference was removed from his page.

Aljahim was often quoted by media outlets on issues related to Hamtramck's sizable Arab American and Muslim population.

Aljahim was arraigned in 34th District Court in Romulus on Sunday "before Magistrate Millicent Sherman and has a $10,000/10% bond with the condition that he surrender his passport and have no contact with the complaining witness or his parents," said Wayne County in its statement.

Aljahim posted $1,000 bond before being released.

His next hearing is set for 8:30 a.m. Oct. 3 and his preliminary exam is set for 9 a.m. Oct. 10 before Judge Alexis Krot in 31st District Court in Hamtramck.

"We obviously are very saddened and shocked by this allegation and it's something that we don't want our image to be associated with," the school's principal, Cowger, told the Free Press.

Cowger said "we first reported this to the police when it came to our attention" and provided police with security camera footage and witnesses gave interviews.

Aljahim worked at the school as community liaison for four years, said Cowger.


"He is someone who is well-known in the community, has a lot of connections," Cowger said. "He was hired because of that, so that he could be a go-between to forge better partnerships."

Ibrahim was terminated from his job after the allege incident, Cowger said.

On Election Night in November 2015, Aljahim stirred controversy when he said at a victory party for Muslim candidates who won: "Today we show the Polish and everybody else," according to a video posted on Facebook.

Hamtramck is a city known historically for its Polish population, but is increasingly Muslim, with growing Yemeni American and Bangladeshi American communities. The city has the highest percentage of immigrants among cities in Michigan.

Aljahim's comments prompted criticism, but he said his words that night were taken out of context.

"I would never discriminate," Aljahim told the Free Press in 2016.

According to WDIV-TV, the 18-year-old student said the incident happened in Ibrahim Aljahim's vehicle outside the high school. The station also reported the student has special needs and that Aljahim forced him to perform a sex act.

Aljahim is a community liaison officer at the school and was a chaplain for Wayne County Sheriff Benny Napoleon, according to WDIV, which is also reporting that he has since been let go from his role at the sheriff's office.

The dissident’s fate says a lot about Saudi Arabia and the rise of the mobster state.

As someone who spent three decades working closely with intelligence services in the Arab world and the West, the Saudi dissident and Washington Post columnist Jamal Khashoggi knew he was taking a huge risk in entering the Saudi consulate in Istanbul last week to try to obtain a document certifying he had divorced his ex-wife.

A one-time regime insider turned critic of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman — the de facto head of the Saudi kingdom which tolerates no criticism whatsoever — Khashoggi had been living in Washington for the previous year in self-imposed exile amid a crackdown on independent voices in his homeland.

He had become the darling of western commentators on the Middle East. With almost two million Twitter followers, he was the most famous political pundit in the Arab world and a regular guest on the major TV news networks in Britain and the United States. Would the Saudis dare to cause him harm? It turns out that the answer to that question was ‘You betcha.’

Following uneventful visits to the consulate and, earlier, the Saudi embassy in Washington, Khashoggi was lured into a murderous plan so brazen, so barbaric, that it would seem far-fetched as a subplot in a John le Carré novel. He went inside the Istanbul consulate, but failed to emerge. Turkish police and intelligence officials claimed that a team of 15 hitmen carrying Saudi diplomatic passports arrived the same morning on two private jets. Their convoy of limousines arrived at the consulate building shortly before Khashoggi did.

Their not-so-secret mission? To torture, then execute, Khashoggi, and videotape the ghastly act for whoever had given the order for his merciless dispatch. Khashoggi’s body, Turkish officials say, was dismembered and packed into boxes before being whisked away in a black van with darkened windows. The assassins fled the country.

Saudi denials were swift. The ambassador to Washington said reports that Saudi authorities had killed Khashoggi were ‘absolutely false’. But under the circumstances — with his fiancée waiting for him, and no security cameras finding any trace of his leaving the embassy — the world is left wondering if bin Salman directed this murder. When another Saudi official chimed in that ‘with no body, there is no crime’, it was unclear whether he was being ironic. Is this great reforming prince, with aims the West applauds, using brutal methods to dispose of his enemies? What we have learned so far is far from encouraging. A Turkish newspaper close to the government this week published the photographs and names of the alleged Saudi hitmen, and claims to have identified three of them as members of bin Salman’s personal protection team.

There are also reports in the American media that all surveillance footage was removed from the consulate building, and that all local Turkish employees there were suddenly given the day off. According to the New York Times, among the assassination team was the kingdom’s top forensic expert, who brought a bone saw to dismember Khashoggi’s body. None of this has yet been independently verified, but a very dark narrative is emerging.

In many respects, bin Salman’s regime has been revolutionary: he has let women drive, sided with Israel against Iran and curtailed the religious police. When Boris Johnson was foreign secretary, he said that bin Salman was the best thing to happen to the region in at least a decade, that the style of government of this 33-year-old prince was utterly different. But the cruelty and the bloodletting have not stopped. Saudi Arabia still carries out many public beheadings and other draconian corporal punishments. It continues to wage a war in Yemen which has killed at least 10,000 civilians.

Princes and businessmen caught up in a corruption crackdown are reported to have been tortured; Shia demonstrators have been mowed down in the streets and had their villages reduced to rubble; social media activists have been sentenced to thousands of lashes; families of overseas-based activists have been arbitrarily arrested. In an attempt to justify this, bin Salman said this week he was ‘trying to get rid of extremism and terrorism without civil war, without stopping the country from growing, with continuous progress in all elements,’ adding: ‘So if there is a small price in that area, it’s better than paying a big debt to do that move.’

The fate of Khashoggi has at least provoked global outrage, but it’s for all the wrong reasons. We are told he was a liberal, Saudi progressive voice fighting for freedom and democracy, and a martyr who paid the ultimate price for telling the truth to power. This is not just wrong, but distracts us from understanding what the incident tells us about the internal power dynamics of a kingdom going through an unprecedented period of upheaval. It is also the story of how one man got entangled in a Saudi ruling family that operates like the Mafia. Once you join, it’s for life, and if you try to leave, you become disposable.

In truth, Khashoggi never had much time for western-style pluralistic democracy. In the 1970s he joined the Muslim Brotherhood, which exists to rid the Islamic world of western influence. He was a political Islamist until the end, recently praising the Muslim Brotherhood in the Washington Post. He championed the ‘moderate’ Islamist opposition in Syria, whose crimes against humanity are a matter of record. Khashoggi frequently sugarcoated his Islamist beliefs with constant references to freedom and democracy. But he never hid that he was in favour of a Muslim Brotherhood arc throughout the Middle East. His recurring plea to bin Salman in his columns was to embrace not western-style democracy, but the rise of political Islam which the Arab Spring had inadvertently given rise to. For Khashoggi, secularism was the enemy.

He had been a journalist in the 1980s and 1990s, but then became more of a player than a spectator. Before working with a succession of Saudi princes, he edited Saudi newspapers. The exclusive remit a Saudi government–appointed newspaper editor has is to ensure nothing remotely resembling honest journalism makes it into the pages. Khashoggi put the money in the bank — making a handsome living was always his top priority. Actions, anyway, speak louder than words.

It was Yasin Aktay — a former MP for Turkey’s ruling Justice and Development party (AKP) — whom Khashoggi told his fiancée to call if he did not emerge from the consulate. The AKP is, in effect, the Turkish branch of the Muslim Brotherhood. His most trusted friend, then, was an adviser to President Erdogan, who is fast becoming known as the most vicious persecutor of journalists on earth. Khashoggi never meaningfully criticised Erdogan. So we ought not to see this as the assassination of a liberal reformer.

Khashoggi had this undeserved status in the West because of the publicity surrounding his sacking as editor of the Saudi daily Al Watan back in 2003. (I broke the news of his removal for Reuters. I’d worked alongside Khashoggi at the Saudi daily Arab News during the preceding years.) He was dismissed because he allowed a columnist to criticise an Islamist thinker considered to be the founding father of Wahhabism. Thus, overnight, Khashoggi became known as a liberal progressive.

The Muslim Brotherhood, though, has always been at odds with the Wahhabi movement. Khashoggi and his fellow travellers believe in imposing Islamic rule by engaging in the democratic process. The Wahhabis loathe democracy as a western invention. Instead, they choose to live life as it supposedly existed during the time of the Muslim prophet. In the final analysis, though, they are different means to achieving the same goal: Islamist theocracy. This matters because, although bin Salman has rejected Wahhabism — to the delight of the West — he continues to view the Muslim Brotherhood as the main threat most likely to derail his vision for a new Saudi Arabia. Most of the Islamic clerics in Saudi Arabia who have been imprisoned over the past two years — Khashoggi’s friends — have historic ties to the Muslim Brotherhood. Khashoggi had therefore emerged as a de facto leader of the Saudi branch. Due to his profile and influence, he was the biggest political threat to bin Salman’s rule outside of the royal family.

Worse, from the royals’ point of view, was that Khashoggi had dirt on Saudi links to al Qaeda before the 9/11 attacks. He had befriended Osama bin Laden in the 1980s and 1990s in Afghanistan and Sudan while championing his jihad against the Soviets in dispatches. At that same time, he was employed by the Saudi intelligence services to try to persuade bin Laden to make peace with the Saudi royal family. The result? Khashoggi was the only non-royal Saudi who had the beef on the royals’ intimate dealing with al Qaeda in the lead-up to the 9/11 attacks. That would have been crucial if he had escalated his campaign to undermine the crown prince.

Like the Saudi royals, Khashoggi dissociated himself from bin Laden after 9/11 (which Khashoggi and I watched unfold together in the Arab News office in Jeddah). But he then teamed up as an adviser to the Saudi ambassador to London and then Washington, Prince Turki Al Faisal. The latter had been Saudi intelligence chief from 1977 until just ten days before the 9/11 attacks, when he inexplicably resigned. Once again, by working alongside Prince Turki during the latter’s ambassadorial stints, as he had while reporting on bin Laden, Khashoggi mixed with British, US and Saudi intelligence officials. In short, he was uniquely able to acquire invaluable inside information.

The Saudis, too, may have worried that Khashoggi had become a US asset. In Washington in 2005, a senior Pentagon official told me of a ridiculous plan they had to take ‘the Saudi out of Arabia’ (as was the rage post-9/11). It involved establishing a council of selected Saudi figures in Mecca to govern the country under US auspices after the US took control of the oil. He named three Saudis the Pentagon team were in regular contact with regarding the project. One of them was Khashoggi. A fantasy, certainly, but it shows how highly he was regarded by those imagining a different Saudi Arabia.

Perhaps it was for this and other reasons — and working according to the dictum of keeping your enemies closer — that a few weeks ago, according to a friend of Khashoggi, bin Salman had made a traditional tribal offer of reconciliation — offering him a place as an adviser if he returned to the kingdom. Khashoggi had declined because of ‘moral and religious’ principles. And that may have been the fatal snub, not least because Khashoggi had earlier this year established a new political party in the US called Democracy for the Arab World Now, which would support Islamist gains in democratic elections throughout the region. Bin Salman’s nightmare of a Khashoggi-led Islamist political opposition was about to become a reality.

The West has been fawning over bin Salman. But how now to overlook what seems to be a brazen Mafia-style murder? ‘I don’t like hearing about it,’ Donald Trump said. ‘Nobody knows anything about it, but there’s some pretty bad stories going around. I do not like it.’ Well, there are plenty more stories where that came from, stories about a ruthless prince whose opponents have a habit of disappearing. The fate of Khashoggi is the latest sign of what’s really happening inside Saudi Arabia. For how much longer will our leaders look the other way?
The Global Muslim Brotherhood Daily Watch

The GMBDW has unearthed an astonishing article from March 1993 titled “Inside the American Moslem Community” (see Note below) and authored by none other than the late Jamal Khashoggi, apparently murdered inside the Saudi Embassy in Turkey. In the article, Khashoggi confirms the major theses concerning the history of the US Muslim Brotherhood as documented in a 2009 report by the GMBDW author including the following findings:
  • The “Islamic Mainstream” in the United States (and Europe) was controlled by the Muslim Brotherhood.
  • The leaders representing the Muslim Brotherhood in the US had successfully established a huge infrastructure in the US consisting of over a thousand mosques and Islamic Centers as well as organizations active in a wide variety of areas.
  • Key individuals identified in the report were in fact US Muslim Brotherhood leaders.
  • The goal of the Muslim Brotherhood in the US was to “naturalize” Islam, meaning essentially to gain societal legitimacy for the leaders and organizations controlled by the Brotherhood.
The article begins by identifying what is described as “tension between Americas Islamic mainstream, which is “controlled by the Muslim Brotherhood, and the newcomer jihadist movement”:
The bombing of New Yorks World Trade Center has raised tension between Americas Islamic mainstream, which is controlled by the Moslem Brotherhood, and the newcomer jihadist movement, led by such clerics as Sheikh Mohammad Abderrahman, according to al-Hayat. Al-Hayats Jamal Khashoggi, writing from New York, says the tension is expected to spread to the Arab world, where differences between the Moslem Brotherhood and the more violent Islamist movements have so far taken the form of mutual criticism through books, audio-tapes and sermons.
The article goes to cite Khashoggi as stressing that the Muslim Brotherhood “is the Islamic mainstream in America and Europe”:
Stressing that the Moslem Brotherhood is the Islamic mainstream in America and Europe, he said some Brotherhood members are still in favor of maintaining contacts with Sheikh Omar Abderrahman in the hope of moderating his fire-and -brimstone views and converting him to less violent ways. But this view was ebbing with the rise of a trend in favor of cutting off all contacts with Abderrahman, reversing the Brotherhoods policy of patiently working on the more violent Islamists until they joined it voluntarily.
The article then reports the blockbuster statement by Khashoggi that US Islamic leaders, already identified as the representing the US Muslim Brotherhood, were worried about an “Israeli media campaign” that could have jeopardized the “enormous infrastructure” established by the Brotherhood in the US:
Khashoggi says the American media campaign against Moslem fundamentalists after the New York blast and coincided with the Israeli media campaign warning the U.S. about fundamentalist Palestinian bases on American soil had the established Islamic leaders in the U.S. worried. They had spent a long time building an enormous infrastructure in the country over a thousand mosques and Islamic centers, along with tens of Inside the American Moslem community. organizations active in various fields, from publishing to missionary work to investment and they were afraid that these would now come under increasing political pressure.

Passing the Equinox of September 22/23 brings the Sun into Libra, an active, mental sign of the air element. We are inspired to step up and take a leadership role in making our lives more aligned with our intentions. Libra is ruled by Venus, which is a source of Libra’s concern with relationships – love relationships, business relationships, social relationships among others. Libra’s symbol is the scale of justice, and concern here is to keep the scales in harmonious balance. Libra will frequently consider the needs of others to the detriment of their own, but truly they are wizards at the win-win situation. They can skillfully negotiate, compromise, and finesse without creating much visible dissention, without compromising their ideals and still manage to get exactly what they want in a situation. It can be a joy to witness. Venus with her love of beauty and harmonious interactions lends the social graces and cultural courtesies to all they touch.

Relationships are what we are really focused on here. Venus brings cooperation and fairness to Libra’s mental arena, so here we experience detachment, justice and idealism. Libra can flip easily from peaceful abiding to outrage if they perceive social injustice, and they absolutely take action to make it right and get you on board as well.

At Libra New Moon we begin a new cycle of intention and focus. We move from a predominance of feminine signs to one of yang, active masculine signs. In this cycle, it’s about love and money, or relationships and finances.

We have an opposition to Chiron (3º Aries) by the Sun and Moon. Old wounds, difficult experiences where we took a hit while exploring, risk taking or just trying to find out who we were in the world may resurface in our current relationships-in ourselves or others. With Libra strong, projection is strong; we see our partner/the other as the source of our problems, so you may feel a kind of restlessness or an impulsive need to cut and run on our commitments. Uranus, also in a somewhat stressful relationship to the Sun/Moon, magnifies this urge when it adds its power of sudden, unexpected change, need for freedom, and power to blast out what isn’t serving any longer. Protection you have put up because of wounding and that keeps you from intimacy and the ability to cooperate with others and consider their relationship needs may be more visible at this Libra Moon portal. We have creative support from Pluto to Chiron urging us to surrender and let these woundings be seen and transformed. At the collective level, Uranus can also rile up ‘the people’ (represented by the Moon) and create revolutionary action when they feel unjustly treated.

Both personal planets, Mercury and Venus, are in Libra, so they are well placed to bring a desire for peaceful interaction, a need for refinement, and finding agreeable outcomes.

Venus is square Saturn, so this is helpful in looking at the bigger picture in our relationships and financial outlook and opting for stability and maturity. Both planets in cardinal action-taking signs, (Libra/Capricorn) want forward motion, to get down to business. Venus also squaring Pluto may fuel power struggles in relating or if control issues, possessiveness or jealousy rear their head, know Pluto is acting from its lower frequencies. Be aware of the drama, but avoid feeding it. Better to look at your part in it and understand your motivations for being caught up in the acting out. Generally speaking, the first person in a debate who compares their opponent to Hitler or the Nazis at that moment loses the argument. When the Third Reich is invoked, it's usually clear evidence that that person's position is so weak that they have had to resort to a gross misrepresentation of the other's position.

There are exceptions, of course, because sometimes the Nazi label fittingly applies. Sometimes the lineage of a movement, institution or political figure can traced right back to the German fascist regime.

This is the case with today's environmentalism, according to a one-time British investment banker.

"If you look at what the Nazis were doing in the 1930s, in their environmental policies, virtually every theme you see in the modern environmental movement, the Nazis were doing," said Rupert Darwall, author of "Green Tyranny," in a recent interview with Encounter Books.

"I think actually the most extraordinary thing that I came across was this quote from Adolf Hitler where he told an aide once, 'I'm not interested in politics. I'm interested in changing people's lifestyles.' Well, that could be ... that's extraordinarily contemporary. That is what the modern environmental movement is all about. It's about changing people's lifestyles," said Darwall, who is no crackpot on the fringe and whose background includes duties as a special advisor to the United Kingdom's Chancellor of the Exchequer.

The Fuhrer's interest in "changing people's lifestyles" is, not at all shockingly, similar to the goals of today's climate fanatics who want to destroy capitalism and replace it with an economic system — run by them, naturally — that would certainly change lifestyles in the West.

Darwall further notes in the interview that "the Nazis were the first political party in the world to have a wind power program," and were also opposed to eating meat, a delightful and nutritious activity that the warming alarmists consider a sin.

When interviewer Ben Weingarten asks Darwall about the "link between Nazism and Communism, and the trajectory from that (initial) union to today's climate movement," the author provides a brief history lesson that is inconvenient for the alarmist community.

The union fits perfectly, of course, with the watermelon analogy that explains today's environmentalist excesses — green on the outside, red on the inside.

It also reminds us of the validated-many-times-over aphorism that when a socialist or communist is thrown out of the window of polite society, he returns through the front door as an environmentalist.

Darwall, who seems uninterested in sugarcoating his observations, also discusses "the 'shock troops' of the climate industrial complex," which he identifies as nongovernmental organizations such as "Greenpeace and Friends of the Earth," and other "large foundations," as well as "the Bill McKibbens of this world."

Other Nazi parallels with climate alarmists and radical environmentalists include their efforts "to delegitimize dissent" and bully "people into silence," and suppressing arguments "not by having an argument but just making sure you don't have an argument," Darwall says.

In other words, brand skeptics as "deniers" and "anti-science" rubes so they'll shut up.

Accusing its political opponents of being Nazis is an exhausted trick of the left. Think of how many times that President Trump has been called Hitler of late. It doesn't tax the imagination greatly, though, to presume that this could be done to cover the left's own kinship with fascism.

The image I share with you above has a picture of "Theodore John Kaczynski aka 'The Unabomber' an American domestic terrorist, former mathematics professor, and anarchist author. He was a mathematics prodigy, but he abandoned an academic career in 1969 to pursue a primitive lifestyle.

The FBI reports that a lone bomber terrorized the nation for nearly 20 years, planting bombs that killed three Americans and injured many more before his capture in 1996. Before his identity was known, the FBI used the acronym UNABOM (University and Airline Bomber) to refer to his case, which resulted in the media naming him the "Unabomber". The FBI and Attorney General Janet Reno pushed for the publication of Industrial Society and Its Future, which led to a tip-off from Kaczynski's brother David, who recognized the writing style. After his arrest in 1996, Kaczynski tried unsuccessfully to dismiss his court-appointed lawyers because they wanted him to plead insanity in order to avoid the death penalty, as he did not believe that he was insane. In 1998, a plea bargain was reached under which he pleaded guilty to all charges and was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.

This is Antifa in a nutshell who the Marxist Democrats and the media adore.

As I have often warned, the far Left is actually closely related to the far Right. Both believe in sacrificing individuals to the collective, reason to romance. One example I've mentioned a couple of times:

The Nazis also absorbed the German Youth Movement, the Wandervogel, which talked of our mystical relationship with the earth. Peter Staudenmaier, co-author of “Ecofascism: Lessons from the German Experience”, says it was for the Wandervogel that the philosopher Ludwig Klages wrote his influential essay Man and Earth in 1913. In it, Klages warned of the growing extinction of species, the destruction of forests, the genocide of aboriginal peoples, the disruption of the ecosystem and the killing of whales. People were losing their relationship with nature, he warned. Heard all that recently? I’m not surprised. This essay by this notorious anti-Semite was republished in 1980 to mark the birth of the German Greens—the party that inspired the creation of our own Greens party. Its message is much as Hitler’s own in Mein Kampf: “When people attempt to rebel against the iron logic of nature, they come into conflict with the very same principles to which they owe their existence as human beings. Their actions against nature must lead to their own downfall.”

What goes around, comes around.
Would that roundabout description of karma still hold true if the Earth was flat? A group of Flat Earthers trying to prove earthy flatness got a big dose of comes-aroundness when the $20,000 gizmo they purchased for that purpose kept coming up “round.” They could have spent far less with the same result by using a Magic 8-Ball … if those were flat. What does karma have against Flat Earthers? Let’s find out.

A documentary currently showing on Netflix called “Behind the Curve” follows members and leaders of the Flat Earth movement as they attempt to prove their beliefs and gather new followers. One of those leaders is Bob Knodel, who claims his background as an engineer and a pilot have convinced him that the Earth is flat and inspired him to create a YouTube channel cleverly named “Globebusters.” If anyone should know how to prove the globe is a flat glob, it’s an engineer and a pilot … right?

According to Newsweek, Knodel and his followers managed to purchase a gyroscope … not one of those fun spinning toys you played with as kids but a $20,000 highly-accurate laser gyroscope that they planned to use to disprove the scientific fact that a round Earth spinning at 15 degrees per hour causes a gyroscope to drift the same 15 degrees per hour. Knodel fired up the gyroscope and stood back. When he saw the results, he said:
“We don’t want to blow this, you know? When you’ve got $20,000 in this freaking gyro. If we dumped what we found right now, it would be bad? It would be bad. What I just told you was confidential.”
That doesn’t sound anything like “Eureka!” That’s because it was more like a “Eureka … not!” moment for Knodel. What he saw that was “bad” and should be kept “confidential” was the laser gyroscope drifting 15 degrees per hour just like it was supposed to. So, Knodel had an awakening, admitted the Earth really is round, shut down his YouTube channel, picked up his flat globes and went home … right?
“Now, obviously we were taken aback by that – ‘Wow, that’s kind of a problem.’ We obviously were not willing to accept that, and so we started looking for easy to disprove it was actually registering the motion of the Earth.”
If you don’t like the results, blame the machine! (See a video clip here.) Knodel should have gone into politics … on second thought, maybe it’s a good thing he didn’t. Ignoring the drift and refusing to drift away from his non-scientific belief, he kept repeating it, hoping to get a different result. Many of you will recognize this as a popular definition of insanity … Knodel probably believes that this only applies to Round Earthers. Needless to say, the drifting $20,000 gyroscope wins again and again.

The documentary also shows Knodel’s channel co-host Jeran Campanella conducting a different experiment using a light pointed through three circles cut into boards at the same height, with the boards being far apart. If the Earth is flat, the beam will pass through all three holes. And if the Earth is round? Campanella saw the beam miss the last hole and said:
“Interesting. That’s interesting.”
At least he didn’t blame the boards … or the saw … or the laser pointer. (See a clip here.)

At this point, even a flat Magic 8-Ball would say, “Don’t bother asking again.”

National Geographic published Jan 16, 2019: Flat Earth vs. Round Earth. The Ancient Greeks concluded Earth was a sphere, which has been validated by scientists ever since. Despite this, there is a movement growing claiming the Earth is flat.

The Flat-Earth theory is the same kind of lunacy that is funding Greta Thunberg and the end of the world movement. The eco-fascist are wealthy Communist who hate Capitalism and the middle class. In Greta Thunberg's speech to all of us she said, "We are in the beginning of a mass extinction, and all you can talk about is money and fairy tales of eternal economic growth. How dare you!"

I want to you to stop and think about what she said in the quote I shared above. Just chew on it for a bit. Now what is the natural law on this planet? GROWTH (increasing, expanding, developing, maturing). Is the Universe expanding as we speak? Yes. Now what is the opposite of growth? They hate profit too. Why on earth would any person start a business just to break-even or report a loss? Right? Do you want to earn the same income you were earning when you were 18 years old when you're 30, 40, 50 years old? No, right? That means that you want to GROW your income. You don't want to just earn enough to pay your living expenses (break-even) or be in debt (loss), right?

And who does determine what our living expenses will be? Communist hate the middle class because it's our gateway to GROW from being poor to wealthy if we wanted to improve our lives. The Communist (Marxist) call us the bourgeoisie, the snobby middle class who controls most of the economy, and controls most of societal's wealth and means of production. Yes, we the middle class are the majority. But that's how the wealthy Communist think. The good life for me, but not for thee. Communist determine how you will live, what you will eat, how much you will eat, oooh and how much income you are allowed to earn. They want to place the middle class at a disadvantage with no means to progress in life. Quite opposite to what Progressivism claims to believe.

But it's okay for them to grow their money, their net worth. It's okay for them to live a life of luxury. But not the rest of us. How dare we want to grow our national economy and be prosperous. Or how dare we want to grow our personal economy, our net worth and live prosperously. No, they want us to be poor living like cavemen did in prehistoric times, eating bugs to save the world. Meanwhile, they fly all over the world in their PRIVATE JETS burning massive fossil fuel, living in their mansions burning massive fossil fuel, driving cars burning fossil fuel.

As an aside, the battery for electric cars are charged by electricity from fossil fuel, coal plants. PLUS, electric car batteries are NOT BIODEGRADABLE. Solar panels are NOT BIODEGRADABLE either. Just more massive toxic waste added to the toxic waste pollution we do need to address today. Oooh but it's okay for them to joke about killing us climate deniers while they are actually contributing to poisoning the earth they claim to love with what they call 'eco-friendly' massive non-biodegradable toxic waste. What the Climate Activists invent to supposedly help the environment is man-made and not biodegradable. Fossil fuels have been used since the beginning of time. But eco-fascism has nothing to do with the climate or the environment. Eco-fascist are using our love for the environment to overthrow Capitalism and implement Communism. UNESCO came out and declared 2005 - 2015 the decade of education for sustainable development. But they go on to say that it will encompass the 40 chapters of UN Agenda 21. That is your US federal national curriculum. The entire purpose of 2nd grade social studies is to transfer loyalty from the family to the government. And teach them about sustainable economic consumption. Students construct their own understandings of reality and realize that objective reality is not knowable. So why bother. The truth is the truth which keep men FREE is being suppressed in order to prop up the attitude training agenda. And it moves on to say, this is our new math called Connected Mathematics, Standard 3 tells us that students learns that mathematics is man-made, that it is arbitrary, and good solutions are arrived at by consensus among those who are considered expert. Most of us assume that 2 + 2 is always going to = 4. You're wrong, we might reach a new consensus. How well does it work? Well they tell you. In the teachers guide, in the back, it tells us that, "Because the curriculum does not emphasize arithmetic computations done by hand, some students may not do as well on tests assessing computational skills. We believe such a trade-off in favor of CMP is very much in the students' advantage in... the world of work." Our children are mathematically illiterate on purpose. How do I know on purpose? Why isn't this just a basic bad idea? Because the Sustainable Development Plan tells us so, "Generally, more highly educated people, who have higher incomes, consume more resources than poorly educated people, who tend to have lower incomes. In this case, more education increases the threat to sustainability."
If you're a regular visitor to my Global Awareness 101 website, then you should know that I always find a way to tie together all the information I provide to you like a neat and tidy bow. Now can you understand why there are so many people on the planet that believe the earth is flat. They are taught to "construct their own understanding of reality."  Advocates for UN Agenda 21 are using Greta Thunberg to influence our youth. That's why Greta Thunberg promoted an international Climate Strike getting millions of students to ditch school, forgo their studies to participate in a worldwide Climate Strike protest. Many schools forced the students to participate in the Climate Strike protest.  Kids were happy it was legal to ditch school even if they didn't believe in the cause. The government run public schools were collaboratively pushing their UN Agenda 21. Private schools where mostly wealthy families send their children did not participate in the worldwide Climate Strike student protest.

Greta Thunberg and her Climate activism is teaching children to be a victim, to be irresponsible, to be depressed and live in fear. Greta is also teaching our youth to hate Capitalism and embrace Communism with movements like Antifa that hate the fascist middle class, the industrious, self-sustaining bourgeoisie.

How about planting trees. How about encouraging young people to become scientists in order to invent better technology for cleaner consumption. How about starting a movement to clean up the garbage thrown all over the streets and sidewalks and freeways in your city. Greta Thunberg does not give a crap about our environment. All she has done is yell at all of us, blaming us for everything. Greta said we're taking away her childhood because she has to travel the world to spread her message. Meanwhile, she is robbing other youth of their childhood imposing her psychosis on them and forcing them to miss school too.

I'm paraphrasing what Ghandi said here, each one of us 7.5 BILLION people on this planet is the change we want to see in this world. Each person can start contributing by not throwing their garbage out of their car window onto the roads. and not throwing their garbage on sidewalks or park grounds. ALL of that garbage you throw on the ground ends up being washed down storm drains that pollutes the ocean with your personal toxic waste that was very preventable to begin with if you were a responsible human being. An entitled person illegally dumps their garbage in public spaces for others to clean up and then ACT like they give a damn about the environment. No one owes you a damn thing. If you can wipe your own butt, then you can dispose of your own garbage properly like the rest of us do. Would you like us to dump our garbage in your home, your bedroom?

I also want to point out that NOT ALL people with higher incomes are highly educated, that is a misnomer. The people who already have established higher incomes have the nerve to restrain the rest of us from achieving the same financial success as them AND they have the nerve to point the finger at us hurting the environment when they state clearly in their Sustainable Development Plan that "people who have higher incomes CONSUME MORE RESOURCES." That's why Communists (Marxists) HATE the middle class. The middle class are independent thinkers, self-sustaining, creatively thriving on implementing new ideas for making this world a better place for future generations. With Capitalism, you can go from being dirt poor, coming up with an idea that can catapult you through the middle class into the upper echelon of the wealthy upper class. With Communism, the majority of the population is equal in poverty while the elite who told you this was for the good of the world control how you live. (emphasis mine)
UPDATE 9/28/19 at 6:38pm: So this just happened. After posting this message, I left the house to run errands. As I was driving around town, I was flipping through my usual radio stations and stopped at KOST 103.5. i-Heart Radio has taken over the local KOST station and is broadcasting the Global Citizens Festival 2019 live from Central Park in New York. I had NO IDEA this was happening today. I hear the guy interviewing the performers backstage and he says something like, people are afraid, they get really scared when they hear about 'activism' or 'activist promoting something' but this fun, right? We're having fun, right? This guy is using reverse psychology. Kind of like Pinocchio and other youth being led to "Pleasure Island". Watch that part of the movie to see what I mean.

Well, I think this Global Citizen movement embodies all the markings of a cult pushing a totalitarian utopian nightmare called UN Agenda 21 that can only be sustained through oppression that I will not be participating in. I want to remain a sovereign being who has free will. I refuse to worship the State who takes away our free will to make our own conscious choices and actions to become robots.
