On March 31 at 1:37 pm UT (London), 8:37 am EST (New York), 5:37 am PDT (Los Angeles) a dynamic Libra Full Moon brings March to a rousing close!

31 is what I call the “genius number” – awakening your uniqueness – and with the Sun and Moon at 10° this Full Moon is designed to awaken new feelings that deepen your understanding of an important part of your life – especially regarding intimate relationships.

Libra is the sign that remains calm amidst any disharmony or imbalance.

It’s very important during a Libra full moon to feel that sense of balance in order to stay connected.

Here are the main highlights activated by the Full Moon:
  • A powerful T-Square from the Sun and Moon to Mars and Saturn (which are conjunct each other) in Capricorn – a fiery call to action to release emotional tension, forgive and move a career project forward without stepping on anyone’s toes in the process.
  • Sun conjunct Mercury, asking you to choose your words, the sound of your voice, and your message wisely, as it has a deeply profound effect on others.
  • 7 of 10 planets in Cardinal Signs, an strong invitation for action, setting goals and forward momentum.
  • Venus enters Taurus on the SAME day doubling the influence of Venus, since Libra is also governed by Venus – an activation of the Divine Feminine through beauty, pleasure, love, feeling good and being true to your core values.
Each and every moment is an opportunity to bring your life into balance.
A shift is coming. Trust it. Believe it. Feel it.

Dear Friends,

Full Moon is Saturday, March 31 at 6:37AM Mountain Daylight Time (MDT)

Being the second full moon of the month, this is another blue moon (we had one in January 2018). The theme for this moon is Balance. It is a good time to reflect on what is in balance and what feels out of balance. Practice gratitude and ask for support. Include prayers for all your relations as balance is sorely needed everywhere.

Spend some time during this moon reflecting on what needs balance in your life and then implement something to honor your commitment to include more balance in your life. The biggest one in our culture is usually the balance between being and doing, between the masculine and the feminine. This is a big theme these days and any focus you put on this issue in your own life will greatly benefit the whole as well. So where are you out of balance? Too much Doing? Too much Being? Too much negative Feminine (resentment, inertia, martyrdom, depression) or to much negative Masculine (anxiety, sleeplessness, overwork, aggression, anger, impatience)?

Look to nature for healing. Spend some time in nature and receive the healing and the imprint for good balance that nature can provide. Practice being, listening, taking more time, resting etc., if you are a too much “doing” person, and bring in more action, physical activity, projects and proactive choices if you are stuck in too much “being”.

Blessings,
Lena

Full Moon in Libra
Sun in Aries ~ Moon in Libra 10º45”
March 31, 6:37 AM Mountain Daylight Time
(March 31, 12:37 PM Greenwich Mean Time)

With each cycle of the Sun through a sign we celebrate and honor the Moon receiving full impact of the Sun’s mighty rays as the Sun and Moon stand in exact opposition creating a Full Moon. With the Sun traveling through Aries now, our Full Moon is in Libra, sign of the partner, our relationships and the projections created with this intimate, personal axis of the Self (Aries) and the Other (Libra).

This Full Moon will bring into intense foreground how our relationships reflect like a mirror who we are and what we are grappling with in our inner realms and projecting outwards onto our partners.

There is complexity to the Full Moon: Mercury travels with the Sun and is retrograde until April 15 and not fully out of its shadow period, regaining the degree where it began its retrograde until May 3rd. It’s a time to reconsider our language and how our inner thoughts affect our vitality and self-esteem, also how we consider others when we speak and how conscious we are of the impact of what we express. And, are we giving ourselves the freedom to truly express who we are? Something to consider during the gift of Mercury retrograde in Aries.

Mars is the natural ruler of the first sign of the zodiac, Aries, where we find the Sun at this time of year. So Mars is empowered in this chart. Mars has recently (3/17) entered Capricorn where Saturn and Pluto are residing. The warrior in Mars loves Capricorn for the discipline and focus it imparts to its actions. In fact Mars is “exalted” in Capricorn and in addition, Mars is still “out of bounds”, beyond the control of the Sun, a wild card, expressing in a potentially fierce and extreme manner for another couple of weeks. More complexity: Mars is now conjunct Saturn for this Full Moon (exact April 2nd), and this pair is forming a tension/conflict-producing T-Square with the Sun/Moon axis. Mars with Saturn is known as the gas and the brakes – applied at the same time! Saturn is the old, wise responsible one full of caution and keeping eyes on the goal while Mars is the young, impetuous, rowdy one full of reckless, risk-taking behavior – full of the joyous ‘I Am’. Wherever you have Capricorn in your chart is getting plenty of drama, excavation and exposure with these three planetary heavies there. Capricorn wants us to consider and refine our goals and the direction we wish to take our life – the long view. Mars can help us with the energy we need to plow the earth for the changes we want to create. You’ll do best with the challenges at Full Moon if you have set your sights for the top of the mountain you want to attain while still maintaining balance and connection in your relationship arenas.

Capricorn also reflects your relationship with authority – both your inner integrity and outer need to follow the rules and show up in a responsible way to create strong foundational community. Masculine Mars is being challenged by the Sun and the Moon to bring its passionate drive into cooperative alignment to work together with others. The recent weekend, peaceful marches initiated by the youth of our country to accomplish what the elders have not been able to accomplish to insure safety for our citizens-young and old-is a positive example of youthful Mars working with the responsible structures (Saturn) of our society. Mars-Saturn squaring the Sun and the Moon all in cardinal signs says we need to take initiative, start a process, get things moving especially in how we express our individuality and purpose and how we grow and thrive in our relationships. Sometimes the tension of a T-Square is just what we need to improve and make, in this case, our relationships better serve who we are in this moment after so much shift and change.

Time for an update!

Venus, of course, rules the Libra Moon. Venus rules airy Libra, in her more masculine expression of mental objectivity, fair play, and negotiation as she seeks harmony in all things, and she also rules earthy Taurus, her more feminine manifestation of sensual expression, social grace, self worth and what you attract in the material world. At Full Moon, Venus has just entered Taurus (0º), so how you feel about yourself will be reflected in your personal and intimate encounters with partners, one-on-one relationships and business associates.

The Sun and Moon also form a Mystic Rectangle with the North and South Nodes. The Mystic Rectangle is made of aspects of ease and grace and opportunity to move our spiritual lessons down into our physical, every day lives. That’s a strong message (!) suggesting the mental objectivity, loving heart-felt cooperation and harmony that our Libra Moon spotlights are the evolutionary way forward for us as we learn to balance the masculine and feminine within our selves and in our relating to each other.

Watch with as much neutrality as you can hold as this relationship passion-play unfolds this week with you as a major character in the dramatization created by you, for you.

FRANCE: Last Friday, An 85-Year-Old Holocaust Survivor Was Stabbed 11 Times And Burned To Death IN HER HOME By Two Islamists Who Were Heard Shouting "Allahu Akbar". 😠

The Jerusalem Post
written by Staff
Sunday March 25, 2018

The burnt and stabbed body of a Holocaust survivor was found in her Paris apartment, in what a watchdog on anti-Semitism said was a case reminiscent of an alleged anti-Semitic hate crime.

The National Bureau for Vigilance Against Anti-Semitism, or BNVCA, wrote in a statement Sunday that the suspected murder of the 85-year-old woman, identified by BNVCA and in the French media only as Mireille K., “is reminiscent of the crime committed against Sarah Halimi,” a 66-year-old Jewish teacher and physician whom prosecutors say was murdered by her Muslim neighbor in April partly in connection with her Jewish identity.

According to the BNVCA, the octogenarian’s body was set on fire Friday night. Her charred body also had at least 11 stab wounds. Police have a suspect in custody in connection with her death.

The victim was found dead in her apartment on Philippe August Street in Paris’ 11th District, in the city’s east near the Nation Square.

She reported in the past to authorities about a man from the same street whom she said had threatened to “burn her,” BNVCA wrote.

A forensic examination of the apartment showed that an arsonist started a fire in at least five distinct areas of that space, the report also said.

A man accused of stabbing an 85-year-old Holocaust survivor to death in her Paris apartment screamed "Allahu Akbar" during the anti-Semitic attack, it has been claimed.

Two men, one a convicted paedophile and the other a vagrant burglar, have been charged with knifing Mireille Knoll to death at her home in the French capital then burning her body.

A source close to the investigation has revealed the two arrested men gave conflicting accounts to police. One told interrogators he heard the other shout the words 'God is greatest' in Arabic during the attack.

The pair also allegedly targeted her because her Jewishness meant she had money.

'The terrible thing is that one of the attackers told the other: 'She's a Jew, she must have money',' Interior Minister Gerard Collomb told parliament on Tuesday.

'There are the stereotypes we have to combat,' he said.

Ms Knoll lived at the flat alone, and had treated one of the alleged attackers 'as a son' for more than 20 years, according to a source close to the case.

The prime suspect is aged 29 and has convictions for sex crimes including attacking a 12-year-old girl. He lived next door to Mrs Knoll, and regularly used to visit her, after the pair first met when he was seven.

The second suspect is a 21-year-old homeless man who has convictions for burglary. Data related to both men's phones place them at Mrs Knoll's apartment last Friday evening, when the fire broke out. Both suspects deny the charges.

A French-Israeli MP Meyer Habib said he was convinced Mrs Knoll had become the victim of the 'hatred and barbarism of an Islamist', who 'stabbed her eleven times in her family flat'.

Yesterday Ms Knoll's granddaughter Noa Goldfarb posted a picture of them together and claimed that a 'Muslim neighbour decided to take my grandmother's life'.

She added: 'He burned away all the childhood memories we had.'

Neither police nor prosecutors have commented on the religious or racial background of the attackers, simply describing them as French residents.

Ms Knoll's son Daniel told Israeli channel i24 News today that one of the suspects was a long-time neighbour who recently finished a jail sentence for a sex offence.

He said the neighbour had spent much of Friday, when the Jewish day of rest begins at sundown, chatting with his mother at the apartment, with the two sharing a drink.

Daniel Knoll said his mother suffered from Parkinson's disease and was not aware that her neighbour had spent time in jail for molesting a 12-year-old.

Reacting on Twitter President Emmanuel Macron condemned the 'dreadful' killing and reiterated his determination to fighting anti-Semitism.

Prosecutors believe the suspects stabbed Ms Knoll, who was found by police lying on her bed, and then set fire to her apartment in a bid to destroy evidence. The blaze was put out within 40 minutes, after emergency workers were called.

'Both men are in custody and have been charged with murder related to their victim's religion, real or imagined,' a source close to the case said.

An autopsy showed she had been stabbed several times before being partly burned by a fire that was started in the apartment where she lived alone.

The two men have been charged with murder, aggravated robbery and damaging property in a case investigators are treating as hate crime.

'My mother, my sweet and gentle mother, murdered for being Jewish... in 2018, how is it possible?' Daniel Knoll wrote on Facebook.

A spokesman for SPCJ, the Protection Service for the Jewish Community in Paris, originally said 'the investigation does not reveal any anti-Semitic elements'.

But during a visit to Israel on Monday, France's foreign minister Jean-Yves Le Drian said it was 'plausible' that Mrs Knoll was killed because she was a Jew.

Mr Le Drian said anti-Semitism 'would not be surprising, and only strengthens the notion that this battle is not over and we will need to keep fighting [anti-Semitism].'

Interior Minister Gerard Collomb told the Senate that since the start of the year, no fewer than 33 anti-Semitic acts have been committed.

This cancer cannot be allowed to eat away at our nation,' he said.

Mireille Knoll had lived in the neighbourhood - in the building where she died and another on the same street - for 60 years, said Francis Kalifat, head of Crif, a body that represents France's 400,000-strong Jewish community.

Daniel Knoll said his mother suffered from Parkinson's disease and was not aware that her neighbour had spent time in jail for molesting the 12-year-old daughter of a woman who acted as her live-in carer.

Mrs Knoll, who is now the mother of two grown-up sons living in Israel, was just nine when, in 1942, she escaped the so-called Vel d'Hiv Roundup in Paris.

French police directed by the occupying Nazis arrested 13,152 Jews, including more than 4000 children, and held them in the city's winter bicycle stadium.

Most were then entrained to the Auschwitz concentration camp, where fewer than 100 survived. Mr Habib said Ms Knoll was able to escape from the roundup 'thanks to her mother's Brazilian passport.'

A spokesman for CRIF, France's Representative Council of Jewish Institutions, said he expected 'the utmost transparency in the ongoing investigation so that the reasons for this barbaric crime are revealed as soon as possible.'

Jewish groups in France regularly complain about growing anti-Semitism, saying they are routinely targeted by radical Islamists and far-Right activists.

In April 2017, Sarah Halimi, a 65-year-old Jewish woman, was killed in her Paris flat by Kada Traore, an immigrant from Mali who is said to have shouted anti-Semitic slogans as he carried out the crime.

Jewish groups were furious that it took a full five months for the French authorities to categorise Mrs Halimi's alleged murder as being motivated by anti-Semitism. Traore is currently in a psychiatric hospital awaiting trial.

France's half-a-million-plus Jewish community is the largest in Europe but has been hit by a wave of emigrations to Israel in the past two decades, partly due to the emergence of a virulent strain of anti-Semitism in predominantly immigrant neighbourhoods.

In 2011, an Islamist gunman shot dead three children and a teacher at a Jewish school in the southwestern city of Toulouse.

Four years later, an associate of the two brothers who massacred a group of cartoonists at satirical newspaper Charlie Hebdo killed four people in a hostage-taking at a Jewish supermarket in Paris.

Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo urged all Parisians to join a silent march in memory of Mrs Knoll on Wednesday, and politicians across the political spectrum pledged to attend.

France's government presented a plan earlier this month to fight racism and anti-Semitism, focusing on social media and prevention in schools.

It also wants to change French law to force internet platforms to detect and remove illegal content.

An annual national count of racist, anti-Semitic, anti-Muslim and anti-Christian acts - most involving threats - dipped in 2017 compared with the year before.

But anti-Semitic violence increased by 26 percent, and criminal damage to Jewish places of worship and burial by 22 percent.

Police have charged two people over the violent murder of Holocaust survivor Mireille Knoll. The 85-year-old, who escaped anti-Jewish purges in Paris during World War II, was stabbed and burned to death last week.

French authorities on Tuesday charged two men with the anti-Semitic murder of Mireille Knoll, an elderly Jewish French woman who was stabbed and burned to death in her eastern Paris apartment last week.

France's Jewish population — the largest in Western Europe — has warned of increasing anti-Semitism in the country and criticized authorities for not taking the threat seriously.

The case so far
  • Firefighters discovered the body of Mireille Knoll when they were called to put out a blaze at her apartment on Friday.
  • An autopsy revealed she had been stabbed repeatedly before being set on fire.
  • Police have charged two people with "murder related to the victim's religion, real or imagined" as well as aggravated robbery and destruction of property, judicial sources told AFP.
  • The pair has been placed in pre-trial detention.
  • According to AFP, both suspects are in their early 20s.
  • A police source said one of the men has a history of violent robbery, the other has convictions for rape and sexual assault.
Call for protests

An umbrella group representing French Jewish organizations called for a march in Knoll's memory on Wednesday and urged "the fullest transparency" by authorities investigating the case.

French President Emmanuel Macron said on Twitter: "I would like to extend my heartfelt condolences on the appalling crime committed against Mrs. Knoll. I reaffirm my absolute determination to fight anti-Semitism."
Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian said Knoll's death showed the need for a "fundamental and permanent" fight against anti-Semitism.

The chief rabbi of Paris, Haim Korsia, said he was "horrified" by the killing.

Escaping the Nazis

Knoll fled with her mother to Portugal when the roundup of more than 13,000 Jews began in Paris in 1942. Most of those Jews were later murdered in Nazi death camps.

After the war, she returned to the French capital and married a Holocaust survivor who died in the early 2000s.

Rising anti-Semitism

France's Jewish community, which numbers an estimated half a million people, has voiced alarm over what advocates describe as an increase in violent Islamist attacks.

Knoll's murder comes a month after a judge confirmed that the April 2017 killing of Sarah Halimi, a 65-year-old Orthodox Jewish woman, was motivated by anti-Semitism. For months, authorities disregarded anti-Semitic motives in the killing of Halimi, who was beaten and thrown out her window.

FRANCE: Terror Threat: How Does France Track 20,000 Potentially Dangerous Extremists.

The Local, France
written by AFP staff and The Local staff
Monday March 26, 2018

The latest attack in France by a gunman who was known to be a potential threat has led to renewed focus on how the country keeps track of thousands of suspected Islamist extremists.
France's interior ministry compiles something known as the "S file" (the "S" stands for security) which contains anyone suspected of being a radical, including potentially dangerous leftist and far-right activists.

There is also a separate list, the File for the Prevention of Terrorist Radicalisation (FSPRT), for people judged to be terror threats.

Radouane Lakdim, the gunman involved in last Friday's shooting spree in the southern French towns of Carcassonne and Trebes, was listed in the S File in May 2014 and the FSPRT in September 2015.

How many are flagged as a threat?

A total of 19,745 were listed in the FSPRT as of February 20.

The file includes people who represent varying degrees of threat, from someone who is reported by his boss for not shaking hands with women to a minor who has recently converted to Islam.

But there are more serious cases of people in contact with members of the Islamic State (IS) group, or others who have left for or wanted to travel to areas controlled by IS in Iraq or Syria.

Once listed, a person will remain on the list for five years but might not be actively monitored. The file also contains records of potential links between suspects.

It updates gradually, as cases are reported by the security services or via calls to the toll-free tipline that launched in April 2014

Who is on it?

Most suspects are from four regions in France: the region around Paris known as the Ile-de-France, the area around Lyon known as Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes in the east, the southern Languedoc-Roussillon-Midi-Pyrenees region and the Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur in the southeast.

People from most socio-professional categories appear in the files, but the majority are young men from the suburbs around French cities where low-income immigrant communities, many from Muslim countries, are concentrated.

The problem for French security services is that most of the attackers in France over the previous four years had not been flagged by the security services.

"You have to remember that this is just the tip of the iceberg," said Jean-Charles Brisard, president of the Center for Terrorism Analysis (CAT).

"Since 2014, 60 percent of the attacks in France were carried out by people who weren't in the file. The files are good, but even they don't show the full scale of homegrown threats."

How are suspects tracked?

French security services manage the list of suspected extremists. Individuals on it are ranked by descending threat level.

The names at the high end of the spectrum are put under closer surveillance and brought in for questioning at the slightest suggestion they might be considering action.

But security experts have warned for years that France does not have the resources needed to put all of its suspected jihadists under round-the-clock surveillance. Following one suspect full-time can take around 20 police officers, experts say.

Investigators therefore depend on phone or internet interceptions to keep track of the highest risks.

"It keeps me up at night," an anti-terrorist officer told AFP, "not having the right people at the top of the list and getting surprised by a kid we misjudged."

What's the solution?

The question of how France can keep tabs on the thousands of individuals flagged up as Fiche S has not seem to have been resolved since France's recent spate of terror attacks began in January 2015, despite being raised after each attack.

While some on the far right call for them to be expelled, others on the right, notably leader of the Republicans party Laurent Wauquiez has demanded internment.

Some right wing MPs have called a Guantanamo Bay-style prison to be opened on a French island to house all radicalized individuals.

Others accept that French intelligence services simply don't have the resources to be able to keep tabs on all radicalized individuals.

"We do not have enough police to be able to follow each of radicalized individual because there are much more serious cases that take priority," said centrist senator Nathalie Goulet.

France's intelligence services helped thwart 20 attacks in 2017 and two other planned atrocities this year.

But just like his predecessors President Emmanuel Macron is under pressure to respond.

FRANCE: Last Friday, An Islamist Stormed A Supermarket, Took Hostages, Murdered 3 People. Was Shot Dead By French Police After Shouting 'Allahu Akbar, I'll Kill You All'

The Daily Mail, UK
written by Julian Robinson and Gareth Davies and Peter Allen in Paris and AFP staff
Friday March 23, 2018

The ISIS fanatic shot dead by police in France after he killed three people in a gun rampage and supermarket siege has been pictured for the first time.

The lone extremist, armed with a gun, knives and a grenade, hijacked a car, shot its passenger in the head and fired at police officers in Carcassonne, south west France, before driving to a Super U shop in Trebes and taking hostages.

After screaming 'Allahu Akbar, I'll kill you all', the Moroccan Islamist, named as 26-year-old Lakdim, killed a butcher and a shopper while terrified customers either fled from the store or hid in a cold room.

During the siege, during which 16 people were wounded and two seriously hurt, Lakdim demanded the release of Salah Abdeslam, 28, the last surviving suspect in the 2015 ISIS attack in Paris that left 130 dead.

But after an hours-long standoff, special police units converged on the scene and stormed the supermarket, where 50 people had been shopping when the attack began.

President Emmanuel Macron this afternoon called Lakdim's rampage a 'terrorist act', the first to hit France since he became leader in May.

French investigators said the man was known to intelligence services and had been flagged in a database of radicalised militants. His home was raided today and a neighbour said she had seen Lakdim 'taking one of his younger sisters to school' before he launched his attack.

It has emerged that a French military officer took the place of a supermarket hostage, entering the danger zone as the drama unfolded. The 45-year-old lieutenant-colonel named as Arnaud Beltrame, who is now fighting for his life in hospital, left his mobile phone on a table so police could hear what was happening.

Through that phone, police heard gunshots inside the building and decided that elite forces had to storm the market, killing Lakdim.

The woman who lived with the gunman has been detained for questioning, the country's top anti-terror prosecutor has said.

Speaking in Carcassonne, Francois Molins said gunman Radouane Lakdim had claimed to be a soldier of ISIS before he was killed by police.

This afternoon, ISIS claimed responsibility for the shooting spree, saying one of its 'soldiers' had acted 'in response to calls to attack Coalition countries'. It was referring to the U.S.-led coalition that has been carrying out airstrikes against ISIS in Syria and Iraq since 2014. France is part of that coalition.

Interior minister Gerard Collomb said the attacker was Redouane Lakdim, 26, who lived with his parents and his four sisters in a flat on a council estate in Carcassonne, a town that is a UN World Heritage site and a major French tourist attraction

It was raided on Friday early in the afternoon, where a neighbour said she had seen Lakdim 'taking one of his younger sisters to school on Friday morning'.

Lakdim was subject to an S-file, which means the intelligence services considered him a security threat. He spent a short time in prison in 2016.

Collomb said Lakdim was not considered a terror threat - despite earlier reports.

'He was known by the police for petty crimes, we had monitored him and did not think he had been radicalised,' Collomb said after arriving at the scene of the hostage-taking in the town of Trebes, near Carcassonne.

'He was already under surveillance when he suddenly decided to act,' he said.

One of those killed in the attack was Portuguese, the nation's government confirmed.

Miguel Silva, head of the department that deals with Portuguese ex-pats, said: 'The death of a Portuguese citizen has been confirmed... by French authorities to our consular services.'

The gunman had earlier held up a car in the nearby city of Carcassone, killing a passenger and then firing six shots at police officers, all members of the city's CRS 57 unit wearing athletic clothes with police insignia. Shouting 'vengeance for Syria', he injured one officer, before driving off towards the supermarket where he held several hostages. The injured officer is not in life-threatening condition.

Forensic officers were combing the scene of the massacre on Friday afternoon and set up a cordon in the supermarket car park around a white Opel Corsa, thought to be in some way linked to the gumnan. It has not been made clear whether this was the car hijacked by Redouane Lakdim.

Police traced the car involved in the shooting in Carcassonne to the hostage-taking in Trebes after it was found in the car park of the supermarket, a security source told AFP.

Eric Menassi, the mayor of Trebes, confirmed that 'a supermarket worker was shot dead' and a CRS officer 'wounded in the shoulder'.

Carole, who was shopping at the supermarket, described how people had taken refuge in a cold room.

'A man shouted and fired several times. I saw a cold room door, I asked people to come and take shelter,' she told Franceinfo radio. 'We were ten, and we stayed an hour. There were more gunshots and we went out the back door.'

Another customer in the supermarket in southern France that was taken over by a gunman describes the assailant as a 'very agitated man shouting several times 'Allahu akbar''.

Christian Guibbert told reporters: 'We heard an explosion, well, several explosions.

'So I went to see what was happening and I saw a man lying on the floor and another person, very agitated, who had a gun in one hand and a knife in the other one.'

Guibbert said he had sought shelter with his wife, sister-in-law and other customers into the butchery's refrigerator.

Then he went back into the supermarket's main room and walked toward the assailant, calling police and describing the situation.

He says the suspect 'ran after me'.

Guibbert escaped out an emergency market door as elite police forces arrived to storm the building.

A security source, said: 'Most of the Super U staff and customers managed to get away.'

Local media reported that Lakdim was demanding the release of Salah Abdeslam - the prime surviving suspect in the ISIS attacks that killed 130 people in Paris in 2015.

Abdeslam, a French citizen born and raised in Brussels, went on trial in Belgium last month. He is accused of 'attempted murder in a terrorist context' over a Brussels shootout in March 2016, four months after he fled Paris on the night of the carnage during which his brother was among the suicide bombers.

Helicopters could be seen circling over Trebes today, a picturesque medieval town of around 5,000 people, while heavily armed police had closed down roads surrounding the supermarket.

As the drama unfolded this morning, police led the hostage-taker's mother, who lives in Carcassonne, to the supermarket in an effort to persuade him to give-up.

'She's gone to talk to him - to try and get him to drop his weapons, and give up,' said a source at the scene. 'His sister is there too.'

This was a tactic used by the authorities in 1994 when Armed Islamic Group terrorists hijacked an Air France plane in Algiers, the capital of Algeria, and wanted to fly it to Paris to crash into the Eiffel Tower.

The leader of the hijackers disobeyed his mother - who spoke to him through a loudspeaker - and carried on with the terrorist attack. France's GIGN was involved, and it ended with the deaths of all four hijackers, and three passengers, with the plane only getting as far as Marseille.

Meanwhile a French policeman who was shot by the Islamist after swapping himself for a hostage has been hailed as a hero.

Brigitte Bardot is a national treasure. Despite relentless persecution by the French government for sharia-speech violations, Bardot continues to speak truth to Islamic power. France’s iconic blonde bombshell has been on trial five times for Islamo-criticism and “inciting racial hatred” (Islam is not a race).

And still she speaks out.

“‘I didn’t fight against French Algeria to accept an Algerian France’: Bardot slams modern-day France,” RT, March 19, 2018:

French actress Brigitte Bardot has spoken out against the state of her country, saying that Islamists are “practically everywhere” and that France should not resemble Algeria.

Speaking to the French weekly Valeurs Actuelles, Bardot said that France is not what it once was. “I have been brought up in honor, patriotism, love and respect for my country, and when I see what it has become, I feel desperate,” she said.

The 83-year-old also said that it is “unacceptable” to see burqas become commonplace in France, and Islamists are “practically everywhere.”

“I did not fight against French Algeria to accept an Algerian France, I do not touch the culture, the identity and the customs of others, let’s not touch mine,” Bardot said.

The former actress didn’t mince her words when it came to her thoughts on the European Union either. “We have to get out of it,” she said. Bardot added that she is a supporter of right-wing National Front politician Marine Le Pen, who has also spoken out against France’s membership in the EU. He was condemned by his party leadership and expelled from the party, but only because he got caught. There is no doubt, given the state of the international Left today, that many others in his party, and Leftists in general, share his sentiments.

“Trèbes attack: French left-winger arrested over tweet hailing gendarme’s death,” BBC, March 25, 2018:

A former French left-wing parliamentary candidate has been arrested over his tweets about a policeman killed during a jihadist siege in southern France last week.

Stéphane Poussier appeared to celebrate the death of Lt-Col Arnaud Beltrame, saying it was great.

He added that the death in the town of Trèbes meant one less voter for President Emmanuel Macron.

French media say he could be charged with apologising for terrorism.

Mr Poussier’s Twitter account has since been deleted. It is unclear if this action was taken by him or the platform, after the tweets caused an outcry and were reported by other social media users.

The ex-candidate said the death made him think of a friend, activist Remi Fraisse, who died after police threw a concussion grenade during protests in 2014.

Col Beltrame, 44, died after being shot when a jihadist stormed a supermarket in Trèbes on Friday….

Friday’s attack – which killed four people – was the worst jihadist attack under Emmanuel Macron’s presidency.

The maximum penalty for apology for terrorist acts is seven years in prison and a fine of €100,000 (£90,000; $120,000), according to Le Monde newspaper.

Stéphane Poussier stood as a candidate for La France Insoumise (France Unbowed), the far-left party led by Jean-Luc Mélenchon, during legislative elections in 2017.

The party has expelled Mr Poussier, calling his tweets “shameful and abject”

USA: In Florida, A Muslim Teenager Says His Faith Is The Reason He Killed A 13-Year-Old Boy By Slitting His Throat And Also Stabbed A Woman And Her Son Because "Boy Made Fun Of His Faith" 😦

PALM BEACH GARDENS — A Jupiter teenager said his Muslim faith led him to fatally stab a boy on his 13th birthday and injure two others at a sleepover Sunday night in BallenIsles Country Club, Palm Beach Gardens police said during a 2 p.m. news conference.

Corey Johnson, 17, was arrested Monday after he reportedly confessed to stabbing the three people while he spent the night at a friend’s home in the gated community off PGA Boulevard.

Also Tuesday, Judge Daliah H. Weiss ordered Johnson be held in a juvenile detention center while a grand jury decides whether to charge him as an adult in the killing. Friends and family of the victims packed the juvenile courtroom Tuesday afternoon for the brief hearing.

Johnson, who police said recently withdrew from William T. Dwyer High School in Palm Beach Gardens, told authorities he woke up at about 4 a.m. Monday at his friend Kyle Bancroft’s home. He decided to kill Kyle’s mother, Elaine Simon; Kyle’s brother, Dane, 13; and Dane’s friend, Jovanni Sierra, 13, while they slept, he said.

Dane reportedly had “made fun of” Johnson’s Islamic faith, the teen said, according to the police report. Jovanni Sierra, who turned 13 on Monday, referred to celebrities as “gods,” Johnson said. That upset him because it is contrary to the Islamic faith to idolize others as a god, he said.

Johnson and Kyle watched violent jihadist videos Sunday night, they said. Johnson stabbed Jovanni Sierra and slit his throat with a knife he had brought with him to the house.

Johnson said he read the Quran before going to the house. He turned to the Muslim holy book “to give him courage to carry out his intentions,” according to an arrest report.

American Islamic leaders have repeatedly condemned expressions of their faith, the second largest in the world after Christianity, that involve violence and terrorism, especially since the 9/11 attacks in 2001.

Shortly before 6 a.m. Monday, Simon — a family-law attorney based in Palm Beach Gardens — heard what sounded like Jovanni Sierra moaning. She went upstairs to investigate.

As Simon walked to the top of the stairs, Johnson lunged at her with a knife and stabbed her. She told city police she’d known the teen for a decade. Authorities said she was stabbed at least a dozen times and fell down the stairs.

Dane ran to protect his mother. He was stabbed more than two dozen times, police said.

Someone ran to a neighbor’s home and called 911. Simon and Dane were rushed to a trauma hospital for their injuries. Kyle was not hurt.

A spokesman for St. Mary’s Medical Center said Tuesday that Simon was in good condition. He said he could not comment on Dane’s condition because he is a minor.

Johnson barricaded himself in a room when police arrived. He was taken into custody at about 8 a.m. by the city’s SWAT team. Jovanni Sierra was found dead in the home.

Interim Chief Clint Shannon said Jupiter police, Palm Beach County School District police and the FBI previously investigated Johnson for “alleged violent tendencies” that they received through “intelligence gathering” in the northern part of the county.

Shannon said Palm Beach Gardens’ only previous encounter with Johnson occurred at 3 a.m. Feb. 28 when he and four other juveniles were stopped on Holly Drive, just east of Military Trail.

The juveniles were released into the custody of their parents. Johnson was in company of Kyle and Dane Bancroft, Shannon said.

Dane and Jovanni Sierra were seventh-graders at Watson B. Duncan Middle School in Palm Beach Gardens, according to officials. Principal Philip D’Amico notified parents of the deaths with a recorded call Tuesday morning.

“Your students may have heard some tragic news via social media regarding one of their fellow students, who was fatally wounded in an incident at a private residence. Another student was injured. Police are still investigating the incident, and we have no information about the case; however, we have no reason to believe it was related to anything involving the school,” D’Amico said in the call.

D’Amico added that Duncan will have counselors available to help students, teachers and staff.

Local Islamic organizations said they were unfamiliar with Johnson. Wilfredo Ruiz, communications director for the Council on American-Islamic Relations in Florida, said from Miami that officials of the mosque told him they do not recall seeing the boy or knowing of him.

A person who answered the phone at the Islamic Center of Palm Beach in North Palm Beach said he did not recognize the name. Calls to the Muslim Community of Palm Beach County mosque in West Palm Beach were not returned.

This is second reported homicide in Palm Beach Gardens in 2018 and the second to touch BallenIsles. Alan J. Abrahamson, a 71-year-old Ballen Isles homeowner, was found dead early Jan. 25 near a sidewalk by the intersection of PGA and Central boulevards, northeast of the community. Police have not made an arrest in his death.

But they hadn’t quite gotten around to it, and Johnson was running around unmonitored, unsupervised, and with no warning given to anyone around him. FBI agents were probably too busy digging up dirt on Trump’s supposed Russia connections to pay much attention to Corey Johnson, and after all, it’s their official policy that Islam is a religion of peace, so how much trouble could this kid really get into?

The corrupt, clueless and compromised FBI needs to be thoroughly and impartially investigated.

“BREAKING: Feds planned to charge Gardens teen for international school threats,” by Hannah Winston, Palm Beach Post, March 13, 2018:

JUPITER — A week before Corey Johnson confessed to stabbing three people — one of them fatally — in a Palm Beach Gardens home, authorities were discussing pending federal criminal charges against the 17-year-old, according to a Jupiter police report.

Johnson was arrested Monday on charges of first-degree murder and attempted murder after investigators say he killed 13-year-old Jovanni Sierra and stabbed Elaine Simon, 43, and her son 13-year-old, Dane Bancroft, during a sleepover at a home in BallenIsles County Club.

Johnson told police his faith is what led him to the violent acts.

But before the Palm Beach Gardens attack, even as early as middle school, Johnson had been on the radar of law enforcement, the report said.

In January 2017, several local law-enforcement agencies and the FBI came together with the staff at William T. Dwyer High School in Palm Beach Gardens, where he was a student at the time. The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office received information that Johnson supported the terrorist organization ISIS and had reached out to the group online, expressing his desire to join them.

A sheriff’s detective interviewed Johnson for a mental-health assessment and said the teen sympathized with terrorist organizations, the report said.

Palm Beach County School District Police said that during middle school, Johnson made anti-Semitic and anti-homosexual statements. He also said he had similar beliefs to the KKK. School police said they received information that Johnson “has violent tendencies,” “has spoken about inappropriate places to bomb” and “is a White Supremacist.”

Investigators also learned there were several guns inside of Johnson’s residence, according to the report. His family later told investigators there were guns in his mother’s home but were locked in a safe.

When Johnson’s mother and grandparents were interviewed by law enforcement, they said Johnson was fascinated with dictators such as Adolf Hitler, Joseph Stalin and Kim Jong-un. They said he had “recently began discovering religion” and had been studying the Quran.

After the meeting, the FBI told Jupiter police that a counter-intelligence agency in Europe investigated Johnson’s connection to several threats made on Instagram to McAuley Catholic High School in Doncaster, England. Though the report does not say what the threats were, authorities said they “were so severe in nature that up to 100 students were removed from the school fearing some kind of attack.” British news outlets reported that in October 2016, a threat posted on Instagram stated “we will kill every single infidel student at this school.”…

In February, the FBI said it had all the evidence it needed and that an assistant U.S. attorney had probable cause to charge Johnson.

On March 5, Jupiter police checked in with the FBI to see where they were with the federal charges and the agent said the affidavits would be “coming in the next several weeks.”

A week later, Johnson was in jail for the fatal stabbing in Palm Beach Gardens.

USA: In Florida, A Honduran Man Pleads Guilty On March 15th After Attempting To Bomb Miami Mall In Support Of ISIS. 😦

The Washington Examiner

Thursday March 15, 2018

A Honduran man living in Miami has pleaded guilty to attempting to provide material support to the Islamic State terrorist organization, the U.S. attorney for the Southern District of Florida announced Thursday.

Vicente Adolfo Solano will face up to 20 years in prison and a $250,000 fine for planning to bomb a local shopping mall in 2017, the attorney's office said in a statement.

The 53-year-old man told an undercover government source in early 2017 that he was unhappy with the United States as a whole and wanted to carry out an attack in Miami. He later said he wanted to join ISIS, according to the court complaint.

Solano later told two undercover FBI agents and the confidential source that he was plotting to place and detonate an explosive device in a central part of a busy mall.

He obtained what he thought was an explosive device, tried to arm it, then took it to a mall to carry out the attack. Solano did not know that the device was "inert" and would not detonate. He was arrested before he entered the mall.

Solano will be sentenced by U.S. District Judge Paul C. Huck in Miami on May 30.

The U.S. Attorney's Office of South Florida and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement told the Washington Examiner they could not comment on the suspect's legal status.

USA: Last Week In Florida A Muslim Man, Member Of Nation Of Islam, Shouts ‘Allah Akbar,’ Shoots Wife, Knives Children, Sets House On Fire 😦

The Daily Caller

A Florida man allegedly shouted “Allah Akbar” repeatedly as police arrested him for shooting his wife, stabbing his two children, and setting his house ablaze.

Police arrested Ronnie Oneal, who identifies as a member of The Nation of Islam, at the house of his partner Kenyatta Barron, in Riverview, Fla., in response to a 911 call from Barron claiming that she had been shot, according to Tampa Bay Times.

Officers found Barron dying of a gunshot wound in the front yard of a neighboring house. Firefighters were responding to a fire set in Barron’s house and found Barron and Oneal’s 9-year-old son, Ronnie Oneal IV, alive but suffering from burns and stab wounds and the couple’s 11-year-old daughter dead from stab wounds.

“I was shocked,” said Walter Ballard, a friend of Oneal who had seen him three days prior, according to Tampa Bay Times. “That’s the only thing that went through my mind: How could he do something like this?”

The dispatcher who answered Barron’s call allegedly said she could hear a male yelling “Allah Akbar” in the background, according to Fox13. Minutes after Barron’s call, Oneal called police, saying, “I’ve just been attacked by some white demons. Her name is Ke-Ke and she tried to kill me and I just killed her.”

Police tried to help Barron where she lay, but soon forced their way into Barron’s home when they noticed the fire. Oneal walked out toward officers through the garage. Officers tasered Oneal and incapacitated him after he refused to comply with their orders to get on the ground.

Officers said that Oneal continually shouted “Allah Akbar” from the back of the police cruiser in which they placed him.

Oneal’s son later walked out of the house as firefighters entered it and reportedly said “My father shot my mother.” Firefighters found the daughter dead inside the house. The sheriff’s office said Oneal’s son suffered from severe burns, stab wounds to the torso and neck, and smelled of gasoline or some other accelerant, according to Tampa Bay Times. The son is now in stable condition after undergoing surgery as of Monday afternoon.

Police charged Oneal with two accounts of first degree murder, arson, attempted murder, and resisting arrest and booked him in Hillsborough County jail as of Monday morning.

Both Barron and her daughter were pronounced dead at the scene of the crime and the medical examiner’s office determined their deaths to be homicides.

Neighbors and friends of Oneal said that they never saw any indication of violence or a decreasing mental state from him.

“Right now, it’s just a blow to the whole family. It really is. We don’t understand it,” Angela Gaudette, O’Neal’s cousin, told Fox13.

Ballard also said that the incident came as a shock, according to Tampa Bay Times.

“He always told me had demons, but I never thought it was like that. I don’t know what would make him do anything to his kids,” Ballard told Tampa Bay Times.
