Every event that is happening has its own humorous side, you just need a sense of humor. No religion has accepted the sense of humor as a quality. Once I was traveling in a bus when I was a student. The bus conductor was in trouble because there were thirty-one passengers and he had money only for thirty tickets. So he was asking, 'Who is the fellow who has not given his money?' Nobody would speak. He said, 'This is strange; now how am I going to find out?'
I said to him, 'Do one thing: tell the driver to stop the bus, and tell the people that unless the person who has not given the money confesses, the bus will not move.'
He said, 'That's right.' The bus was stopped. Everybody looked at each other, now what to do? Nobody knew who the person was...

Seriousness has become almost part of our bones and blood. You will have to make some effort to get rid of seriousness, and you will have to be on the lookout-wherever you can find something humorous happening, don't miss the opportunity. Everywhere there are people who are slipping on banana peels-just nobody is looking at them. In fact, it is thought to be ungentlemanly. It is not, because only bananas slip on banana peels.
Laughter needs a great learning, and laughter is a great medicine. It can cure many of your tensions, anxieties, worries; the whole energy can flow into laughter. And there is no need that there should be some occasion, some cause.
In my meditation camps I used to have a laughing meditation: for no reason, people would sit and just start laughing. At first they would feel a little awkward that there was no reason-but when everybody is doing it... they would also start. Soon, everybody was in such a great laughter, people were rolling on the ground. They were laughing at the very fact that so many people were laughing for no reason at all; there was nothing, not even a joke had been told. And it went on like waves.
So there is no harm... even just sitting in your room, close the doors and have one hour of simple laughter. Laugh at yourself. But learn to laugh. Seriousness is a sin, and it is a disease. Laughter has tremendous beauty, a lightness. It will bring lightness to you, and it will give you wings to fly. And life is so full of opportunities. You just need the sensitivity. And create chances for other people to laugh. Laughter should be one of the most valued, cherished qualities of human beings-because only man can laugh, no animals are capable of it. Because it is human, it must be of the highest order. To repress it is to destroy a human quality.

The New Moon and total Solar Eclipse is Monday August 21 at 12:30PM Mountain Daylight Time (MDT).
This is the big one we have all been talking about. Some of you are determined to be in a place where you can see and witness the totality and many of you will simply be in its energy or see a partial view. It really does not matter energetically, only psychologically.
But with that said, this is definitely a time to honor a marker of huge change and the agent of a massive reset. Even if you have been working with these energies now for the past weeks, it is always good to honor the exact time frame around this event.
What can you do?
Be aware, though a list or a mental awareness, of what you are resetting. Do something that symbolizes coming into a still point, an unplugging, a dropping into the void. (if you have the monthly Mp3 you can use the exercise on it)
Acknowledge the absence of the sun and solar energy as it is eclipsed from the earth for those few moments as symbolizing the absence of what has been feeding old patterns and beliefs for you these past years and maybe your whole lifetime.

I loved hearing the President of the United States say we needed to open our hearts and love each other in his speech today. No truer words could be spoken at this time. Let’s make the most of this alignment of the Sun, Moon and precious Earth. Leo, the Lion, the King, rules the New Moon cycle so powerfully aligned with a Total Solar Eclipse. Leo is your power, your purpose, and your joy in creating your life from your essence, your heart. The Sun at the center of our solar system is our source of life and rules only one sign ~ Leo.
The eclipse is highlighting some area of your chart, and in that ‘house’ you are feeling the pull and pressure to reset a part of your life. Profound release is being experienced by many. We are such creatures of habit and we don’t surrender the familiar easily. Others find themselves birthing the children of their creativity or realizing how they create their own lives. Although Leo is our most regal, authoritative, kingly/queenly part of our self, it also rules the fifth house of the zodiac, the house of children and hence our playful, creating, pleasure-loving selves, the risk taking and generous, loving part of our natures. Investments, speculation, the Big Gamble also fall under Leo’s rulership – win big/lose big or you have to risk in order to gain – that’s Leo’s way. Pour some flamboyant on it and have some fun. The North Node, our point of growth, creates the Leo eclipse. Here is the theme of the sacred masculine intensified by the presence of Mars in Leo. Exactly conjunct the eclipse, one of the four Royal stars, Regulus in the constellation Leo located in the ‘heart of the lion’, rules the direction of North – the outer masculine where we show up in the world with integrity and generosity for all our relations and Mother Earth. The direction of courage, strength, and wisdom is where we go deep within our hearts and listen like a tree standing in winter to all that has gone before that has brought us to this moment. We all are healing our masculine, experiencing how we show up in the world, and calling on Spirit to support us in walking a balanced path healing what is out of balance.
The shadow side of Leo reveals the King/Queen, the Hero/Heroine within to be self-centered, childish, bullying, and dictatorial stubbornly insisting on their righteousness, but revealing their hurting, angry and immature underbelly. Cowardly, full of doubt and unequipped to face their fear, Leo is clearly dramatizing all around us some of the darker aspects of the Queen/King so we can reset at this turning point how we hold our personal power and understand just what is that thorn stuck in our paw.
With both Saturn and Uranus in a supportive and cooperative relationship with our new Leo cycle, look to attending to your hard realities and focused action (Saturn) for getting traction out of the pressures that an eclipse season accentuate. Saturn in Sagittarius says ‘walk the path of what has meaning to you; look to the big picture; be tolerant, get grounded, and manifest spirit in all you do. Hard truths, though not the easiest to swallow, often lead to the most movement and growth in life. Saturn is working more closely with the Mars than the Sun so we are energized to get the show on the road and lean into the work that will bring manifestation. With so many planetary bodies retrograde (pesky Mercury, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto, Chiron, Eris, Juno), there’s a feeling of not having our energy completely under us, we can’t quite get fully launched, inertia is weighing heavy on us.
What does Uranus add to the dance? The inspiration of fire, a gratifying shatter of the old ways, CHANGE! FREEDOM! When the Sun reappears after the eclipse, we can welcome our awakening, kick the ego to the curb, and get our weird on. Uranus is happy to fuel our cooperation by breaking down walls of all kinds that separate us. We can heed Saturn’s call AND throw in with Uranus all at the same time. Uranus as the most exact aspect has us on a fast track to the future fueling both technology and revolutionary movements.
The other exact aspect of this chart is Pluto at 17º Capricorn opposing Ceres in Cancer 17º. It represents the shadow side of the patriarchy/matriarchy separation, the classical mythology of abduction of the daughter and the mother’s grief, rage and rampage under the powerlessness felt to protect her daughter. It’s clear our mandate is to heal this core wounding and balance this polarity within our selves, partnerships, and the way we see the world in order to bring ourselves into our own integrated love. Let’s hope this solar eclipse triggers a mega forgiveness festival where the dance is letting go of that old drama. Can the feminine forgive the masculine for oppression and holding themselves out as superior and the most powerful? Can the masculine acknowledge the feminine as strong, wise and of equal power?
As we pass through this magnificent masculine Leo portal of fire emphasized by two New Moons at 0º and 29º, watch for shifts and events being set off when a planet triggers these degrees like Sept. 3 when Mars hits that 29º Leo point, the week of Sept 1-8 Mercury is at a standstill at that point when it goes direct on Sept 5th, Sept 18th Venus 29º Leo, or Nov 20 when the Scorpio Sun squares that 29º Leo eclipse point. Over the course of 100 minutes, 14 states across the United States will experience more than two minutes of darkness in the middle of the day. Additionally, a partial eclipse will be viewable across all of North America. Also, I recommend listening to the prayers I've shared links to on the right side of my website, and come in agreement with the pastors praying on your behalf. I would like to point out, that you can have many people praying for you, but you still need to pray for yourself too. You need to put in the effort. You need to cry out to your Heavenly Father, your Creator, your Source. You need to be serious about wanting to change your situation, not just in jest. God loves you so much. By reading these and other prayers I've provided for you to copy, you are keeping your focus on God and on His promises for you, and on His UNCONDITIONAL LOVE for you, taking your attention away from your current situation. So even with tears in your eyes, pray. Pray until your situation changes and expect to be WOWED by God. God's mercy (and grace) is a monumental theme in Scripture, the English word appearing some 341 times in the Bible. The four Hebrew and three Greek words associated with this term appear a total of 454 times and are also translated as "kindness," "loving kindness," "goodness," "favor," "compassion," and "pity." Of the sixty-six books of the Bible, only sixteen do not use one of these words for mercy. Even though "mercy" is an important concept, it is somewhat difficult to prescribe a definition, especially since "grace" is occasionally closely coupled with it.
However similar they may appear to be, these words are not synonyms. "Grace" is most often associated with the sovereign dispensing of totally undeserved favor, and is specifically connected to salvation. "Mercy" is more often connected to the withholding of judgment: "For he shall have judgment without mercy, that hath showed no mercy; and mercy rejoiceth against judgment" (James 2:13).
Psalm 136 repeats the theme "for His mercy endureth forever," each of the 26 verses listing incomparable aspects of God's kindness to us. As all of us begin the season of thanksgiving and celebration of God's bounty and provision (both physical and spiritual), join with me in refreshing our knowledge of His mercy.
God is good!
"It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness" (Lamentations 3:22-23).
"The Lord is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works" (Psalm 145:9).
"Delight thyself also in the Lord; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart" (Psalm 37:4).
God is above all and sovereign!
"Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity...because he delighteth in mercy.... He will have compassion upon us; he will subdue our iniquities; and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea" (Micah 7:18-19).
"The mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children's children" (Psalm 103:17).
Because He is the "King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God" (1 Timothy 1:17) and He is "the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords" (1 Timothy 6:15), we should therefore "give thanks to the Lord of lords: for his mercy endureth for ever" (Psalm 136:3).
God does great wonders!
The creation of the universe stands out among all of the religions of the world as unique to the God of the Bible. It distinguishes all of the principalities and powers of this universe from the One who created the heavens and the earth (1 Corinthians 8:5-6). We cannot even understand the triune nature of God apart from what He has revealed of Himself in the creation (Romans 1:20). The very gospel of God has its everlasting foundation in the creation (Revelation 14:6-7). God's "signature" is written throughout the universe, so much so that He used the evidence of His design and authority integrated into the ecosystems of the earth to prove His deity to His servant Job (Job 39-40). We do well to honor "him who alone doeth great wonders: for his mercy endureth for ever" (Psalm 136:4).
God is a great deliverer!
The exodus of the nation of Israel from Egypt still stands as one of the most intriguing and awe-inspiring events of history. Nothing in the annals of human events comes close to the intervention of the "I AM THAT I AM" in the affairs of nations. God came "down to deliver" (Exodus 3:8) and to display His "signs and wonders" (Exodus 7:3) "against all the gods of Egypt" (Exodus 12:12). Never before or since has God taken "him a nation from the midst of another nation, by temptations, by signs, and by wonders, and by war, and by a mighty hand, and by a stretched out arm, and by great terrors" (Deuteronomy 4:34).
In the context of New Testament Christianity, our God has delivered us from "the power of Satan" (Acts 26:18) and "darkness" (Colossians 1:13) into "his marvelous light" (1 Peter 2:9). We have been set free from "the law of sin" (Romans 8:2) and from "this present evil world" (Galatians 1:4) to the "glorious liberty of the children of God" (Romans 8:21). The same God who "overthrew Pharaoh" is the Savior who will "deliver the godly out of temptations" (2 Peter 2:9) and "from every evil work" (2 Timothy 4:18) and has "given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust" (2 Peter 1:4).
God is a great provider!
There are three specific examples given in Psalm 136 of God's sovereign provision. He protects and shelters during the "wilderness." He makes possible victories over great "enemies." And He gives "food to all flesh" The details of God's provision and the many examples in the Scripture are inexhaustible. Yet in these three areas, we find hope for any situation "in time of need" (Hebrews 4:16).
Were it not for the promises of deliverance from our enemies so replete throughout the Scriptures, were it not for the hope that we would see deliverance "in the land of the living" (Psalm 27:13), and were it not for the confident knowledge that "evildoers shall be cut off" (Psalm 37:9), we could be in constant fear and torment. God does promise to bring us victory! We are told that He will fight for us! We are not left to our own devices! Jesus said, "All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.... and lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world" (Matthew 28:18-20).
Finally, while we are never to take God's provision for granted--"give us this day our daily bread" (Matthew 6:11)--we need to be reminded that the mercy of God extends far beyond the care of His own. "He maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust" (Matthew 5:45). God is "the God of the whole earth" (Isaiah 54:5). We often get caught up in trying to make provisions for a "rainy day" in a future that is unknowable and unsecured, but God knows that we "have need of all these things" (Matthew 6:32). Whatever our circumstances may be, God knows, understands, and will make sure that "his mercy endureth for ever"
Heavenly Father, we would give Thee thanks and praise for Thy great mercies to us this day. We acknowledge that our words are not sufficient to honor Thy majesty or our minds capable of understanding how to express our thanks. Yet we would offer them to Thee as all that our heart, our soul, and our mind can speak. Please accept them as offerings of a sweet smell before Thy throne.

2 He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.
3 And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the Lord.
4 Blessed is that man that maketh the Lord his trust, and respecteth not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies.
5 Many, O Lord my God, are thy wonderful works which thou hast done, and thy thoughts which are to us-ward: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered.

I am not saying leave the world and become hermits somewhere in the Himalayas - no. But sometimes leave, relax, be useless, be alone, exist like a rock, be independent, free from the world, be a part of nature - and you will be rejuvenated, reborn. Then come back and move in society and in the crowd again. And try to carry that beauty, that silence that happened to you when you were alone. Now carry it, don′t lose contact with it. Move deep into the crowd but don′t become a part of it. Let the crowd be there outside you - you remain alone.
And when you become capable of being alone in the crowd, you have achieved real aloneness. It is easy to be alone on a hilltop. The whole of nature helps you, and nothing is a barrier. To be back in the market-place, in the shop, in the office, in the family, and to remain alone - that is an achievement. Then it is something you have achieved and it is not just accidental, something that happened because of the hills. Now the quality of consciousness has changed. So remain alone in the crowd. The crowd will be there outside but don′t allow it to enter in. Protect whatsoever you have gained. Defend it, don′t allow it to be disturbed.
And whenever you feel that the feeling has become dull, that you are missing it, that society has disturbed it, that the dust has gathered around, that the fresh spring is no longer fresh, that it is polluted - move again. Fall out of society to renew it, to make it alive again. Then come back and move in the crowd.
And then a moment will come when that original spring will remain fresh and no one will be able to pollute it or contaminate it. Then there is no need to move anywhere.
Are you too serious? Maybe you get offended easily or judge others on autopilot? Or perhaps you just feel that you could benefit from ‘lightening up” and taking a more cheerful approach to your life?
We can get bogged down, solemn and stuck in our unhelpful ways, trudging through each day carrying on our habits from the day before.
But I’m here to challenge you to intervene and make some changes. It’s for your own good.
Here are 5 easy tips to become more light-hearted.
1) Come from love
Love is open, generous and most importantly, non-judgmental. This means that in order to come from love, you need to accept people as they are.
Notice how you label others or disapprove of their choices. Doing this only serves to make you feel tense, frustrated or critical and trust me, if you’ve been judging others for a while, you deserve to feel better… and you can!
Use this reminder: I can’t change you, I accept you as you are. I choose to feel good.
2) If it will be funny later, let it be funny now
Something goes unexpectedly wrong, your plans get interrupted, someone lets you down or, worst of all, one of your tech devices stops working! Tragedy!
Have you ever had a complete meltdown when something like this happened only to laugh about it when you shared the story later?
If it’s funny later, it can be funny now. I promise.
When you feel yourself getting sucked into meltdown mode, imagine yourself telling this story to a good friend in a year’s time. Are you laughing about it? If so then allow yourself to channel that hilarity into the present moment. Let it be funny now!
3) Ask questions
There is much to be gained from showing a genuine interest in another person. Not only do you open yourself up to learn something new, but you give the gift of your attention. Probably the greatest gift you can ever offer to anyone.
If you find yourself stuck in the story of your own life, feeling miserable about your situation then it’s unlikely that complaining about it is going to make you feel any better or deepen your relationship with your loved ones.
Instead, ask them about their life. You will relax and they will feel validated and appreciated. Engaging with others without the need to be heard in return is a noble skill, the mastery of which will leave you feeling surprisingly fulfilled.
4) Bring positivity with you
It can be so easy to fall into the pattern of expecting people, events and circumstances to bring us joy, we often forget that we can bring it too.
Make it your goal to fill your own life and the lives of those around you up with positivity. I’m not talking about approaching events with the attitude of “This better be good,” and then allowing yourself to be disappointed if it’s not as good as you’d liked it to be.
Instead it’s about getting your “happy” on and then not allowing anyone or anything to take it from you. That is your choice to make. Nobody forces you to give it away.
Consider something that we all deal with from time to time, waiting. If you show up with a positive spirit then waiting probably won’t bother you. But, if you let the situation sap your good vibes, then you make space for frustration and blame that will not only leave you in a bad mood but also make you fairly unpleasant to be around.
5) Smile
It seems obvious but most people don’t do it as often as they’d like to think they do.
Imagine that all day tomorrow you’re going to be filming a close up movie of your face that you can watch back. Check in with yourself throughout the day and consider how many times you smiled in the last 30 minutes.

Smiling not only does wonders for your own body, it invites people to smile with you. It shares something special and magical. Think of someone you love, a funny story or something that you are grateful for and let it beam out of you through your smile!
