The History of Creation

From The Book of Genesis
Genesis 1 (NKJV)

1. In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. ["In the beginning" describes the beginning of the First Earth Age which was trillions of years ago when God created the Universe and all that is in it. We lived here during the First Earth Age in transfigured bodies before the catabolt, overthrow of Satan. The First Earth Age perished. Catabolt in the Greek means destruction, nothing, made void. We are living in the Second Earth Age which has already been determined to end at the second catabolt after the 7th Seal has been broken and the 7th Trumpet is sounded (which brings on the third and final woe) when the 7 Vials are poured out. Read Revelation 8 and Revelation 16. But I highly recommend that you read the entire Book of Revelations. (emphasis mine)]
"When the "Seventh SEAL" was broken there was "SILENCE" in Heaven, but when the "Seventh TRUMPET" sounded, and the "Seventh VIAL" was poured out there were "GREAT VOICES" in Heaven. The "Great Voice" at the pouring out of the "Seventh Vial" was from the Throne, and cried--"IT IS DONE." When Christ expired on the Cross He cried--"IT IS FINISHED," that is, the way and plan of Salvation was complete, and this voice from the Throne that cries "IT IS DONE" may be His voice, announcing that the pouring out of the "Seventh Vial" finishes the wrath of God." 2. Then, the earth was WITHOUT form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the (Holy) SPIRIT of God was hovering over the face of the waters.

3. Then God said, “Let there be LIGHT”; and there was light. 4. And God saw the light, that it was good; and God divided the light from the darkness. 5. God called the light Day, and the darkness He called Night. So the evening and the morning were the first day.

6. Then God said, “Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.” 7. Thus God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament; and it was so. 8. And God called the firmament Heaven. So the evening and the morning were the second day. 9. Then God said, “Let the waters under the heavens be gathered together into one place, and let the dry land appear”; and it was so. 10. And God called the dry land Earth, and the gathering together of the waters He called Seas. And God saw that it was good.

11. Then God said, “Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb that yields seed, and the fruit tree that yields fruit according to its kind, whose seed is in itself, on the earth”; and it was so. 12. And the earth brought forth grass, the herb that yields seed according to its kind, and the tree that yields fruit, whose seed is in itself according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. 13. So the evening and the morning were the third day.

14. Then God said, “Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs and seasons, and for days and years; 15. and let them be for lights in the firmament of the heavens to give light on the earth”; and it was so. 16. Then God made two great lights: the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night. He made the stars also. 17. God set them in the firmament of the heavens to give light on the earth, 18. and to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness. And God saw that it was good. 19. So the evening and the morning were the fourth day.

20. Then God said, “Let the waters abound with an ABUNDANCE of LIVING CREATURES, and let birds fly above the earth across the face of the firmament of the heavens.” 21. So God created GREAT sea creatures and every living thing that moves, with which the waters abounded, according to their kind, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. 22. And God blessed them, saying, “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let birds multiply on the earth.” 23. So the evening and the morning were the fifth day.

24. Then God said, “Let the earth bring forth the living creature according to its kind: cattle and creeping thing and beast of the earth, each according to its kind”; and it was so. 25. And God made the beast of the earth according to its kind, cattle according to its kind, and everything that creeps on the earth according to its kind. And God saw that it was good.

26. Then God said, “Let Us make (hu)man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” 27. So God created man and woman in His own image; in the image of God He created them; male and female He created them. [This is the day God created ALL OF THE RACES. The Gentiles aka non-jewish people. (emphasis mine)] 28. Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.” 29. And God said, “See, I have given you every herb that yields seed which is on the face of all the earth, and every tree whose fruit yields seed; to you it shall be for food. 30. Also, to every beast of the earth, to every bird of the air, and to everything that creeps on the earth, in which there is life, I have given every green herb for food”; and it was so. 31. Then God saw everything that He had made, and indeed it was very good. So the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

Genesis 2 (NKJV)

1. Thus the heavens and the earth, and all the host of them, were finished. 2. And on the seventh day God ended His work which He had done, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had done. 3. Then God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because in it He rested from all His work which God had created and made.

4. This is the history of the heavens and the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD God made the earth and the heavens, 5. before any plant of the field was in the earth and before any herb of the field had grown. For the LORD God had not caused it to rain on the earth, and there was no man to till the ground; 6. but a mist went up from the earth and watered the whole face of the ground.

7. And the LORD God formed man of the DUST of the ground, and BREATHED into his nostrils the breath of LIFE; and man became a LIVING BEING.

Life in God’s Garden
[ADAM and EVE were created seperately on the eight day and placed in the garden of eden for His pleasure. This is the Jewish/Hebrew blood line from where Adam, Noah, Job, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob (Israel), Joseph, Moses, David, Daniel, Jonah and Jesus (Yahshua) would come through. God's beloved. Here is a Bible Timeline if you're interested. I would also like to point out that God did not create Eve (woman) from Adam's (man's) rib as has been taught incorrectly for ages. Eve (woman) was created from Adam's (man's) DNA double HELIX CURVE, the genetic curve. (emphasis mine)]

8. The LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden, and there He put the man whom He had formed. 9. And out of the ground the LORD God made every tree grow that is pleasant to the sight and good for food. The tree of life was also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

The X chromosome is one of the two sex-determining chromosomes (gonosomes) in many animal species, including mammals (the other is the Y chromosome), and is found in both males and females. It is a part of the XY sex-determination system and X0 sex-determination system.

In humans - Function

The X chromosome in humans spans more than 153 million base pairs (the building material of DNA). It represents about 2000 out of 20,000 - 25,000 genes. Each person normally has one pair of sex chromosomes in each cell. Females have two X chromosomes, whereas males have one X and one Y chromosome. Both males and females retain one of their mother's X chromosomes, and females retain their second X chromosome from their father. Since the father retains his X chromosome from his mother, a human female has one X chromosome from her paternal grandmother (father's side), and one X chromosome from her mother.

Identifying genes on each chromosome is an active area of genetic research. Due to the fact that researchers use different approaches to predict the number of genes on each chromosome, the estimated number of genes varies. The X chromosome contains about 2000 genes compared to the Y chromosome containing 78 genes, out of the estimated 20,000 to 25,000 total genes in the human genome. Genetic disorders that are due to mutations in genes on the X chromosome are described as X linked.

The X chromosome carries a couple of thousand genes but few, if any, of these have anything to do directly with sex determination. Early in embryonic development in females, one of the two X chromosomes is randomly and permanently inactivated in nearly all somatic cells (cells other than egg and sperm cells). This phenomenon is called X-inactivation or Lyonization, and creates a Barr body. X-inactivation ensures that females, like males, have one functional copy of the X chromosome in each body cell. It was previously assumed that only one copy is actively used. However, recent research suggests that the Barr body may be more biologically active than was previously supposed. [source: wikipedia]

Ephesians 1: Praise for Spiritual Blessings in Christ. Thanksgiving and Prayer.

[source: Biblegateway]

Praise for Spiritual Blessings in Christ

1 Paul, an apostle (special messenger) of Christ Jesus (the Messiah), by the divine will (the purpose and the choice of God) to the saints (the consecrated, set-apart ones) at Ephesus who are also faithful and loyal and steadfast in Christ Jesus:

2 May grace (God’s unmerited favor) and spiritual peace [which means peace with God and harmony, unity, and undisturbedness] be yours from God our Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ.

3 May blessing (praise, laudation, and eulogy) be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah) Who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual (given by the Holy Spirit) blessing in the heavenly realm!

4 Even as [in His love] He chose us [actually picked us out for Himself as His own] in Christ before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy (consecrated and set apart for Him) and blameless in His sight, even above reproach, before Him in love.

5 For He foreordained us (destined us, planned in love for us) to be adopted (revealed) as His own children through Jesus Christ, in accordance with the purpose of His will [because it pleased Him and was His kind intent]—

6 [So that we might be] to the praise and the commendation of His glorious grace (favor and mercy), which He so FREELY BESTOWED ON US in the Beloved.

7 In Him we have redemption (deliverance and salvation) through His blood, the remission (forgiveness) of our offenses (shortcomings and trespasses), in accordance with the riches and the generosity of His gracious favor,

8 Which He lavished upon us in every kind of wisdom and understanding (practical insight and prudence),

9 Making known to us the mystery (secret) of His will (of His plan, of His purpose). [And it is this:] In accordance with His good pleasure (His merciful intention) which He had previously purposed and set forth in Him,

10 [He planned] for the maturity of the times and the climax of the ages to unify all things and head them up and consummate them in Christ, [both] things in heaven and things on the earth.

11 In Him we also were made [God’s] heritage (portion) and we obtained an inheritance; for we had been foreordained (chosen and appointed beforehand) in accordance with His purpose, Who works out everything in agreement with the counsel and design of His [own] will,

12 So that we who first hoped in Christ [who first put our confidence in Him have been destined and appointed to] live for the praise of His glory!

13 In Him you also who have heard the Word of Truth, the glad tidings (Gospel) of your salvation, and have believed in and adhered to and relied on Him, were stamped with the seal of the long-promised Holy Spirit.

14 That [Spirit] is the guarantee of our inheritance [the firstfruits, the pledge and foretaste, the down payment on our heritage], in anticipation of its full redemption and our acquiring [complete] possession of it—to the praise of His glory.

Thanksgiving and Prayer

15 For this reason, because I have heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love toward all the saints (the people of God),

16 I do not cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers.

17 [For I always pray to] the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, that He may grant you a spirit of wisdom and revelation [of insight into mysteries and secrets] in the [deep and intimate] knowledge of Him,

18 By having the eyes of your heart flooded with light, so that you can know and understand the hope to which He has called you, and how rich is His glorious inheritance in the saints (His set-apart ones),

19 And [so that you can know and understand] what is the immeasurable and unlimited and surpassing greatness of His power in and for us who believe, as demonstrated in the working of His mighty strength,

20 Which He exerted in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His [own] right hand in the heavenly [places],

21 Far above all rule and authority and power and dominion and every name that is named [above every title that can be conferred], not only in this age and in this world, but also in the age and the world which are to come.

22 And He has put all things under His feet and has appointed Him the universal and supreme Head of the church [a headship exercised throughout the church],

23 Which is His body, the fullness of Him Who fills all in all [for in that body lives the full measure of Him Who makes everything complete, and Who fills everything everywhere with Himself].

Ephesians 2: Made Alive in Christ. Jew and Gentile Reconciled Through Christ Jesus.

[source: Biblegateway]

Made Alive in Christ

1 And you [He made alive], when you were dead (slain) by [your] trespasses and sins

2 In which at one time you walked [habitually]. You were following the course and fashion of this world [were under the sway of the tendency of this present age], following the prince of the power of the air. [You were obedient to and under the control of] the [demon] spirit that still constantly works in the sons of disobedience [the careless, the rebellious, and the unbelieving, who go against the purposes of God].

3 Among these we as well as you once lived and conducted ourselves in the passions of our flesh [our behavior governed by our corrupt and sensual nature], obeying the impulses of the flesh and the thoughts of the mind [our cravings dictated by our senses and our dark imaginings]. We were then by nature children of [God’s] wrath and heirs of [His] indignation, like the rest of mankind.

4 But God—so rich is He in His mercy! Because of and in order to satisfy the great and wonderful and intense love with which He loved us,

5 Even when we were dead (slain) by [our own] shortcomings and trespasses, He made us alive together in fellowship and in union with Christ; [He gave us the very life of Christ Himself, the same new life with which He quickened Him, for] it is by grace (His favor and mercy which you did not deserve) that you are saved (delivered from judgment and made partakers of Christ’s salvation).

6 And He raised us up together with Him and made us sit down together [giving us joint seating with Him] in the heavenly sphere [by virtue of our being] in Christ Jesus (the Messiah, the Anointed One).

7 He did this that He might clearly demonstrate through the ages to come the immeasurable (limitless, surpassing) riches of His free grace (His unmerited favor) in [His] kindness and goodness of heart toward us in Christ Jesus.

8 For it is by free grace (God’s unmerited favor) that you are saved (delivered from judgment and made partakers of Christ’s salvation) through [your] faith. And this [salvation] is not of yourselves [of your own doing, it came not through your own striving], but it is the gift of God;

9 Not because of works [not the fulfillment of the Law’s demands], lest any man should boast. [It is not the result of what anyone can possibly do, so no one can pride himself in it or take glory to himself.]

10 For we are God’s [own] handiwork (His workmanship), recreated in Christ Jesus, [born anew] that we may do those good works which God predestined (planned beforehand) for us [taking paths which He prepared ahead of time], that we should walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us to live].

Jew and Gentile Reconciled Through Christ Jesus

11 Therefore, remember that at one time you were Gentiles (heathens) in the flesh, called Uncircumcision by those who called themselves Circumcision, [itself a mere mark] in the flesh made by human hands.

12 [Remember] that you were at that time separated (living apart) from Christ [excluded from all part in Him], utterly estranged and outlawed from the rights of Israel as a nation, and strangers with no share in the sacred compacts of the [Messianic] promise [with no knowledge of or right in God’s agreements, His covenants]. And you had no hope (no promise); you were in the world without God.

13 But now in Christ Jesus, you who once were [so] far away, through (by, in) the blood of Christ have been brought near.

14 For He is [Himself] our peace (our bond of unity and harmony). He has made us both [Jew and Gentile] one [body], and has broken down (destroyed, abolished) the hostile dividing wall between us,

15 By abolishing in His [own crucified] flesh the enmity [caused by] the Law with its decrees and ordinances [which He annulled]; that He from the two might create in Himself one new man [one new quality of humanity out of the two], so making peace.

16 And [He designed] to reconcile to God both [Jew and Gentile, united] in a single body by means of His cross, thereby killing the mutual enmity and bringing the feud to an end.

17 And He came and preached the glad tidings of peace to you who were afar off and [peace] to those who were near.

18 For it is through Him that we both [whether far off or near] now have an introduction (access) by one [Holy] Spirit to the Father [so that we are able to approach Him].

19 Therefore you are no longer outsiders (exiles, migrants, and aliens, excluded from the rights of citizens), but you now share citizenship with the saints (God’s own people, consecrated and set apart for Himself); and you belong to God’s [own] household.

20 You are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets with Christ Jesus Himself the chief Cornerstone.

21 In Him the whole structure is joined (bound, welded) together harmoniously, and it continues to rise (grow, increase) into a holy temple in the Lord [a sanctuary dedicated, consecrated, and sacred to the presence of the Lord].

22 In Him [and in fellowship with one another] you yourselves also are being built up [into this structure] with the rest, to form a fixed abode (dwelling place) of God in (by, through) the Spirit.

When Was Our Lord Jesus Christ Crucified?

[source: Bible Studies]

The Gregorian calendar date of Friday April 1, AD 33 (which corresponds to the Julian calendar date of Friday April 3, AD 33) has been proposed as the day our Lord Jesus Christ was crucified. In this study an attempt will be made to determine if this date is supported by the information found in the Bible. Before going into any detailed calculations, we first need to establish what the Bible teaches in regard to the timing of Jesus' crucifixion. We can establish three important facts from the Bible:

1) Jesus was crucified on the latter half of the 14th day of the 1st month (Nisan 14), the day the Passover was killed (Exodus 12:6, John 18:28, 18:39, 19:14, Mark 15:25-34)

2) Jesus ate the Passover (last supper) with his disciples on the evening of the 13th day (Luke 22:15, John 13:1), not the evening of the 14th day (John 18:28)

3) Jesus was crucified on a Friday, the day before the Saturday Sabbath (Luke 23:54, John 19:31)

Now given Jesus crucifixion is related to the feast day of Passover, which occurred on the 14th day of the 1st month, it is necessary to calculate what would have been the first day of the Biblical new year (i.e., Nisan 1) for the year AD 33. Since Biblical months are related to the timing of the new moon, and new years are related to seasons, with the Biblical year aligned to spring, which is itself related to the vernal equinox, the following dates have been obtained from astronomical calculations for the year AD 33 (note: all dates below are Gregorian calendar dates):

> The AD 33 vernal equinox* occurred on Sunday March 20 at approximately 5:00 pm Jerusalem Standard Time (JST)
> The pre-equinox lunar conjunction** (dark moon) occurred on Thursday March 17, 12:38 pm JST
> The post-equinox lunar conjunction** (dark moon) occurred on Friday April 15, 9:09 pm JST

References:
* Vernal Equinox Reference
** Lunar Conjunction Reference

The next issue we are faced with is exactly how does one determine the start of the new year and new month given the above information for the vernal equinox and lunar conjunction. Below is a summary of the methods used to determine a new year and new month:

New Year: there are two different ideas for when a new year begins. The first argues the new year begins with the first moon conjunction after the vernal equinox (i.e., the post-equinox moon conjunction). The second argues it begins with the moon conjunction closest to the vernal equinox (but not more than 14 days earlier, i.e., one that would not result in Passover occurring prior to the vernal equinox).

New Month: there are two different ideas for when a new month begins. The first argues a new month begins the day immediately following the moon conjunction. The second argues it begins the day following the time of the moon conjunction plus 24 hours (the 24 hours allows time for an observable crescent moon to form).

As can be seen, the determination of new year and new month is not obvious, and various methods are possible. So which methods should we use? Unfortunately the Bible doesn't address these fine points directly. If one searches the internet, as well as Jewish and Christian history, one will find lots of opinion, but very little if any Biblical rationale for the methods finally selected. In this study a simple approach is chosen, which is to test each combination of new year and new month method, and see which of them satisfies the Biblical information regarding our Lord Jesus Christ's crucifixion. Below is a summary of each of these possibilities:

Method 1: New year using post-equinox moon conjunction and new month starting day immediately following the moon conjunction.
Method 2: New year using post-equinox moon conjunction and new month starting day following the moon conjunction plus 24 hours.
Method 3: New year using closest moon conjunction and new month starting day immediately following the moon conjunction.
Method 4: New year using closest moon conjunction and new month starting day following the moon conjunction plus 24 hours.

The analysis below uses each of the four methods above to determine what day of the week corresponds to the 14th day of the 1st month of the Biblical Calendar. Now the criteria used to judge which of these four methods is Biblically valid is that they MUST yield a date for Nisan 14 in AD 33 that is a Friday (the day before the Saturday sabbath when Jesus was crucified). If this criteria is not met, then we know for sure that particular method is not Biblically valid! Here are the analysis results for each of the four methods:

Method 1 (year starting post-equinox moon conjunction and month starting day immediately following moon conjunction):
> Vernal equinox AD 33 = March 20
> Post-equinox moon conjunction = April 15 at 9:09 pm JST
> 1st day of 1st month = April 16 at 6pm - April 17 at 6pm
> 14th day of 1st month = April 29 at 6pm - April 30 at 6pm
> Jesus crucified afternoon of April 30 (a Saturday)
> This would result in Jesus being crucified on a Saturday instead of Friday (the day before the Saturday sabbath), inconsistent with
Luke 23:54, John 19:31
> CONCLUSION: this possibility is EXCLUDED!
Method 2 (year starting post-equinox moon conjunction and month starting day + 24 hours after moon conjunction):
> Vernal equinox AD 33 = March 20
> Post-equinox moon conjunction = April 15 at 9:09 pm JST
> 1st day of 1st month = April 17 at 6pm - April 18 at 6pm
> 14th day of 1st month = April 30 at 6pm - May 1 at 6pm
> Jesus crucified afternoon of May 1 (a Sunday)
> This would result in Jesus being crucified on a Sunday instead of Friday (the day before the Saturday sabbath), inconsistent with
Luke 23:54, John 19:31
> CONCLUSION: this possibility is EXCLUDED!
Method 3 (year starting with closest moon conjunction and month starting day immediately following moon conjunction):
> Vernal equinox AD 33 = March 20
> Closest moon conjunction = March 17 at 12:38 pm JST
> 1st day of 1st month = March 17 at 6pm - March 18 at 6pm
> 14th day of 1st month = March 30 at 6pm - March 31 at 6pm
> Jesus crucified afternoon of March 31 (a Thursday)
> This would result in Jesus being crucified on a Thursday instead of Friday (the day before the Saturday sabbath), inconsistent with
Luke 23:54, John 19:31
> CONCLUSION: this possibility is EXCLUDED!
Method 4 (year starting with closest moon conjunction and month starting day + 24 hours after moon conjunction):
> Vernal equinox AD 33 = March 20
> Closest moon conjunction = March 17 at 12:38 pm JST
> 1st day of 1st month = March 18 at 6pm - March 19 at 6pm
> 14th day of 1st month = March 31 at 6pm - April 1 at 6pm
> Jesus crucified afternoon of April 1 (a Friday)
> This would result in Jesus being crucified on a Friday (the day before the Saturday sabbath), in agreement with Luke 23:54, John 19:31
> CONCLUSION: this possibility is INCLUDED!
Now from the above results for AD 33 we see that only one of the four methods described provides a date for Passover, Nisan 14, that is a Friday, and that is the fourth method listed. So if AD 33 is the correct year for Jesus' crucifixion, then we know the rules specified by method four above to determine Nisan 1 are the Biblically valid ones! However before we make this our final conclusion we also need to consider the possibility that Jesus wasn't crucified in some other year besides AD 33. For example, there are other Bible scholars who argue that Jesus may have been crucified as early as AD 29, or as late as AD 36, so we must analyze these years before going further. But before doing so, one might ask, why limit the range of years to AD 29 through AD 36? The reason for this comes from the Biblical citation found in Luke 3:1,
Luke 3:1-3 KJV

1 Now in the fifteenth year of the reign of Tiberius Caesar, Pontius Pilate being governor of Judaea, and Herod being tetrarch of Galilee, and his brother Philip tetrarch of Ituraea and of the region of Trachonitis, and Lysanias the tetrarch of Abilene,

2 Annas and Caiaphas being the high priests, the word of God came unto John the son of Zacharias in the wilderness.

3 And he came into all the country about Jordan, preaching the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins;
Here in Luke 3 we find the Bible dates the beginning of the ministry of John the Baptist. And it was at this time that Jesus began his ministry, immediately after being baptized by John the Baptist. Below is a summary of the commonly recognized dates for the rulers mentioned in Luke 3:1,
> Tiberius Caesar ruled AD 14-37, so his 15th year would be AD 29
> Pontius Pilate governed AD 26-36 (this is the Pilate to whom Jesus was sent prior to his crucifixion)
> Herod Antipas tetrarch of Galilee 4 BC - AD 39
> Philip II (brother of Herod) tetrarch of Ituraea thought to die in AD 34
Based on these dates, we find that Luke 3:1, the 15th year of Tiberius Caesar, would have been AD 29. From the account in Luke 3 we know this is the year Jesus was baptised and began His ministry, and so is not a likely year for His crucifixion, but this year will be used as the earliest possible crucifixion year for this study. Now the other limit on the year Jesus could have been crucified would be the reign of Pontius Pilate, who the gospels account clearly record Jesus appearing before prior to His crucifixion, and the latest that could have occurred would be the year AD 36. Thus, based on Luke 3:1-3, we can establish eight possible years in which Jesus could have been crucified, i.e., anywhere from AD 29 to AD 36.

The next step is to do the same analysis for each year from AD 29 to AD 36 as was done for AD 33 above, again using each of the four possible methods listed to determine the date of Nisan 14, and seeing which ones land on a Friday. The results are tabulated below:

Analysis of years AD 29 to AD 32 (CLICK HERE TO SEE ANALYSIS)

Determining a Minimum Length of Jesus Ministry:

From the gospel of John it is possible to determine a minimum length of Jesus ministry. The following events should be considered:
> Jesus is baptized by John the Baptist (John 1:28-33)
> Jesus performs his first sign at a wedding feast in Cana of Galilee (John 2:1), following which he goes to Jerusalem for the Passover feast (John 2:13)
> Jesus returns to Galilee following the Passover feast in Jerusalem (John 4:45)
> Jesus goes to Jerusalem again for another feast, possibly the feast of Tabernacles (John 5:1)
> Jesus returns to Galilee again (John 6:1), soon after which another Passover is near (John 6:4), and Jesus feeds 5000 (John 6:10)
> Jesus still in Galilee and feast of Tabernacles is near (John 7:2), later Jesus goes to Jerusalem for this feast (John 7:10)
> Jesus still in Jerusalem at time of feast of Dedication, it is now winter (John 10:22)
> Jesus visits Bethany (near Jerusalem) and raises Lazarus from the dead (John 11:1)
> Jesus comes to Ephraim, and another Passover is near (John 11:54-55)
> Jesus returns to Bethany 6 days before this Passover (John 12:1)
> Jesus triumphant entry into Jerusalem (John 12:12-15)
> Jesus hour had come, he would be crucified at this Passover (John 13:1, John 18:28, 18:39, 19:14)
From the above accounts, we know Jesus was baptized prior to the Passover of John 2:13, a Passover he celebrated in Jerusalem. Jesus then returned to Galilee for a time but then returned to Jerusalem again in order to celebrate another feast (possibly of Tabernacles). After this he returned to Galilee, and the Passover of John 6:4 arrived, one where he remains in Galilee and feeds 5000. Later Jesus returns to Jerusalem for the feast of Tabernacles, where Jesus remains for the winter and the feast of Dedication. Following that Jesus spends time in Bethany and Ephraim before coming a final time to Jerusalem for the Passover on which he was crucified. Thus, we can set a minimum duration of Jesus ministry as one that spans at least 3 Passovers. If Jesus was in fact crucified at Passover AD 30 (April 5th or May 3rd), then the Passover of John 2:13, being two years earlier, would have been in the spring of AD 28. However we already saw that Jesus' ministry could not have begun earlier than August 20, AD 28, the start of Tiberius Caesar's 15th year. Based on this the year AD 30 can be excluded as a possibility for Jesus' crucifixion.

What about AD 36?

There aren't any theologians that espouse Jesus was crucified in AD 36 because that would result in His ministry being on the order of 6 1/2 years. In addition this would put Jesus 3 years older than if crucified in AD 33, making Him over forty years old. Finally, in the Luke 3:1 citation, it indicates Herod's brother Philip was still alive, and the date of his death is generally believed to have been in AD 34, so it's quite doubtful Jesus could have been crucified later than that, and thus it's very doubtful AD 36 could be when Jesus was crucified.

Luke 3:1 Now in the fifteenth year of the reign of Tiberius Caesar, Pontius Pilate being governor of Judaea, and Herod being tetrarch of Galilee, and his brother Philip tetrarch of Ituraea and of the region of Trachonitis, and Lysanias the tetrarch of Abilene,
> Philip II (brother of Herod) tetrarch of Ituraea thought to die in AD 34
Conclusion:

It has been shown that AD 33 is the only year that satisfies all the relevant scriptures for the crucifixion of our Lord Jesus Christ. Other possible years can be excluded based on either not satisfying a Friday Passover crucifixion, or for being too early to allow a sufficient length for Jesus' ministry. It has also been shown that the appropriate method for determining a new year is to use the moon conjunction that occurs closest to the vernal equinox, and that the first day of a new month is one that follows the moon conjunction plus 24 hours (time to permit a visible formation of a crescent moon). It has been shown that other possible methods of calculating new years and new months do not provide for a Friday Passover on the 14th day of the 1st month for AD 33, and can therefore be excluded.

Pssst... HAPPY EASTER! Hope You Have A Great Day Doing Whatever It Is That Puts A Great BIG SMILE On Your Face! :D

I don't have children, but if I did I would teach them to know the difference between the secular Easter Spring Celebration and Jesus' Resurrection Sunday. I personally take no issue celebrating them both, my motto is to each his or her own. But it is important to understand the difference between the two. The Easter Spring Celebration is a pagan secular ritual and Jesus' Resurrection Sunday is Holy. It was the Catholic church that integrated them both into one. There is no mention of Ostara, the goddess of Spring in the Bible nor is there any mention of the word Eostre aka Easter.

Ostara is the Anglo-Saxon goddess of Spring. Her other name is "Eostre" meaning "movement towards the rising sun." She is celebrated on March 21st at the Spring Equinox, when days are brighter and growing longer. She points the way to Beltane, the great and joyous festival of coming Summer.

Ostara is a fertility goddess, the northern counterpart of Astarte and Ishtar. She is associated with the moon hare or rabbit, with eggs, dawn and the east - all symbolizing her primary qualities of bringing birth, rebirth and renewal to a winter-weary world.

In modern times, we have transformed Ostara's sacred rabbits and eggs into the secular Easter bunny, and colored and chocolate Easter eggs that delight children and grownups alike. Ostara's deep femininity is reflected in the fact that our word for the female hormone, estrogen, is derived from her name.

Easter and Spring

Come March. And the world around you gets geared up to go ga ga on a festive spree. Some skeptics might shrug off the March madness fray, but can't beat the freak it rolls out of its season of rejuvenation, rejoice and renewal that ushers in with a basketful of new promises and gifts in galore. The nature discards its weary look to don a brand new outfit. The shining sun showers its blissful warmth, as if, to thwart the frosted blanket which the winter wraps around us. The brook turns bubbly. The blooming tulips, the crocuses and the daffodils - all swayed by the cool southie breeze, bring back the vibe on earth.

What else can be a better day for fun and fiesta? To have your family reunited? Friendship and love renewed? And feelings shared?

Perhaps all these traits have made spring and celebrations almost synonymous. That too from the dawn of human history.

Even in the Greek mythology, Demeter and Persephone, convey the idea of a goddess returning seasonally from the nether regions to the light of the day. This is in conjunction with the vernal equinox, March 21, when nature is in resurrection after the winter.

Even Easter - the grand occasion that reminds you of the golden and crimson eggs and chocolate bunnies, the ho'cross buns, is also a spring time festival. As if the Almighty had chosen this glorious season for the death-resurrection and exaltation of Jesus Christ, the son of God.

History Of Easter

Easter, the principal festival of the Christian church year, celebrates the Resurrection of Jesus Christ on the third day after his Crucifixion. The origins of Easter date to the beginnings of Christianity, and it is probably the oldest Christian observance after the Sabbath (observed on Saturday). Later, the Sabbath subsequently came to be regarded as the weekly celebration of the Resurrection.

Meanwhile, many of the cultural historians find, in the celebration of Easter, a convergence of the three traditions - Pagan, Hebrew and Christian.

According to St. Bede, an English historian of the early 8th century, Easter owes its origin to the old Teutonic mythology. It was derived from the name Eostre, the Anglo-Saxon goddess of spring, to whom the month of April was dedicated. The festival of Eostre was celebrated at the vernal equinox, when the day and night gets an equal share of the day.

The English name "Easter" is much newer. When the early English Christians wanted others to accept Christianity, they decided to use the name Easter for this holiday so that it would match the name of the old spring celebration. This made it more comfortable for other people to accept Christianity.

But it is pointed out by some that the Easter festival, as celebrated today, is related with the Hebrew tradition, the Jewish Passover. This is being celebrated during Nisan, the first month of the Hebrew lunar year. The Jewish Passover under Moses commemorates Israel's deliverance from about 300 years [it's really 400 years. (emphasis mine)] of bondage in Egypt.

It was in during this Passover in 30 AD [it's really 33 AD. (emphasis mine)] Christ was crucified under the order of the Roman governor Pontius Pilate as the then Jewish high priests accused Jesus of "blasphemy". The resurrection came three days later, on the Easter Sunday. The early Christians, many of them being brought up in Jewish tradition regarded Easter as a new feature of the Pascha (Passover). It was observed in memory of the advent of the Messiah, as foretold by the prophets. And it is equanimous with the proclamation of the resurrection. Thus the early Christian Passover turned out to be a unitive celebration in memory of the passion-death-resurrection of Jesus. However, by the 4th century, Good Friday came to be observed as a separate occasion. And the Pascha Sunday had been devoted exclusively to the honor of the glorious resurrection.

Throughout the Christendom the Sunday of Pascha had become a holiday to honor Christ. At the same time many of the pagan spring rites came to be a part of its celebration. May be it was the increasing number of new converts who could not totally break free of the influence of pagan culture of their forefathers.

But despite all the influence there was an important shift in the spirit. No more glorification of the physical return of the Sun God. Instead the emphasis was shifted to the Sun of Righteousness who had won banishing the horrors of death for ever.

The Feast of Easter was well established by the second century. But there had been dispute over the exact date of the Easter observance between the Eastern and Western Churches. The East wanted to have it on a weekday because early Christians observed Passover every year on the 14th of Nisan, the month based on the lunar calendar. But, the West wanted that Easter should always be a Sunday regardless of the date.

To solve this problem the emperor Constantine called the Council of Nicaea in 325. The question of the date of Easter was one of its main concerns. The council decided that Easter should fall on Sunday following the first full moon after the vernal equinox. But fixing up the date of the Equinox was still a problem. The Alexandrians, noted for their rich knowledge in astronomical calculations were given the task. And March 21 was made out to be the perfect date for spring equinox.

The dating of Easter today follows the same. Accordingly, churches in the West observe it on the first day of the full moon that occurs on or following the Spring equinox on March 21., it became a movable feast between March 21 and April 25.

Still some churches in the East observe Easter according to the date of the Passover festival.

The preparation takes off as early as on the Ash Wednesday from which the period of penitence in the Lent begins. The Lent and the Holy week end on the Easter Sunday, the day of resurrection.

Was it a morning like this
When the Son still hid from Jerusalem?
And Mary rose from her bed
To tend the Lord She thought was dead

What is a morning like this,
When Mary walked down from Jerusalem?
And two angels stood at the tomb,
Bearers of news she would hear soon.

Did the grass sing?
Did the earth rejoice
To feel you again?
Over and over like a Trumpet underground,
Did the earth seem to pound: “He is risen”

over and over
in a never ending round
“He is risen, alleluia, alleluia!”

Was it an morning like this,
When Peter and John from Jerusalem?
And as they raced for the tomb,
Beneath their feet was there a tune?

Was it a morning like this,
When my Lord looked out On Jerusalem?
He is risen, alleluia, alleluia.

Happy Resurrection Day!

May you and yours have a blessed day in the name of Jesus who rose from the grave on Sunday morning –The Son of God who the Father sent into the world to save us –That all who believe in Him might be saved for all eternity.

“Now It’s Sunday”

(From: “It’s Friday, But Sunday’s Coming”)

Now it’s Sunday. And just about dawn on that first day of the week, there was a great earthquake. But that wasn’t the only thing that was shaking

because now it’s Sunday. And the angel of the Lord is coming down out of heaven and rolling the stone away from the door of the tomb.

Yes, it’s Sunday, and the angel of the Lord is sitting on that stone and the guards posted at the tomb to keep the body from disappearing were shaking in their boots

because it’s Sunday, and the lamb that was silent before the slaughter is now the resurrected lion from the tribe of Judah, for He is not here, the angel says. He is risen indeed.

It’s Sunday, and the crucified and resurrected Christ has defeated death, hell, sin and the grave.

It’s Sunday. And now everything has changed. It’s the age of grace, God’s grace poured out on all who would look to that crucified lamb of Calvary. Grace freely given to all who would believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross of Calvary was buried and rose again.

All because it’s Sunday.

Happy Resurrection Sunday! ♥

Mark 16:1-7 (NIV) When the Sabbath was over, Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salome bought spices so that they might go to anoint Jesus' body. Very early on the first day of the week, just after sunrise, they were on their way to the tomb and they asked each other, "Who will roll the stone away from the entrance of the tomb?" But when they looked up, they saw that the stone, which was very large, had been rolled away. As they entered the tomb, they saw a young man dressed in a white robe sitting on the right side, and they were alarmed. "Don't be alarmed," he said. "You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid Him. But go, tell his disciples and Peter, 'He is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see Him, just as He told you.'"

He is Risen! Our God is a living, breathing, loving God. Death can no longer have the final say. Sin will not have final victory. Jesus has conquered! We are free! Life has won!

Revelation 5:4-6 (NIV) I wept and wept because no one was found who was worthy to open the scroll or look inside. Then one of the elders said to me, "Do not weep! See, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has triumphed. He is able to open the scroll and its seven seals." Then I saw a Lamb, looking as if it had been slain, standing in the center of the throne, encircled by the four living creatures and the elders. He had seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God sent out into all the earth.

Our God is Worthy! All praise honor and glory are His, now and forever more.

Let us take some time to worship and glorify Him. He is loving and gracious! He is the same now as He was when the Bible was written. Let us praise Him for He is worthy!

Christ's Resurrection by Pastor Joseph Prince

I've taken the following from Pastor Joseph Prince youtube video description:

Understand the power of Jesus' resurrection like never before! In this powerful and inspiring message by Joseph Prince, discover how, when Jesus rose again, He conquered not just the grave, but also sorrow, fear, doubt and discouragement—the four main means the devil uses to attack the human heart. Learn at the same time how Jesus' resurrection is heaven's receipt that you are completely forgiven, so that you can be bold to believe Him for great things. You'll also discover the secret to walking in the power of His perfect finished work and see His salvation manifest in every area of your life!

It Is Finished! WOW! This is an AMAZING message! Thank you Pastor Prince. ♥ AMEN! ♥

It Is Finished!

John 19:30: So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished!” And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit.

Imagine looking at Leonardo da Vinci’s famous Mona Lisa painting in the Louvre museum. Would you think of adding more brush strokes to it? Of course not! It was done by a master, so what could you possibly add to the painting to improve it?

In the same way, that is how we are to look at Jesus’ work on the cross. He cried out, “It is finished!” You cannot complete a completed work. You cannot finish a finished work. Our salvation is won. Our sins are all forgiven. We are made forever righteous by His blood. Christ paid completely and perfectly for our total forgiveness, righteousness and every blessing!

In fact, these three words, “It is finished”, come from one Greek word teleo. In the days of Jesus, a servant would use it when reporting to his master: “I have completed the work assigned to me.” (John 17:4) The word means, “It is finished, it stands finished and it will always be finished!” Perhaps the most significant meaning of teleo is how it is used by merchants: “The debt is paid in full!” When Jesus gave Himself on the cross, He met fully the righteous demands of the law. He paid our debts in full!

Today, it is not our works that will bring us the blessings. It is Christ’s finished work. Christian living is not about doing, but believing in His finished work. Under the law, we must do. Under grace, it is done!

Maybe you are faced with overwhelming odds today. Jesus promises, “It is finished!” You are not going to be delivered because you have already been delivered. You are not going to be healed because you are already the healed! God healed you 2,000 years ago! Isaiah 53:5 declares, “By His stripes you are healed!” You are already pregnant with healing. Keep resting in His finished work and it will manifest!

My friend, the work is finished. The victory is won. Our blessings have been bought by His blood! Live life knowing that there is nothing for you to do — only believe! It is finished!

Thought Of The Day: It is believing in Christ’s finished work that will bring us the blessings.

Sweet Inspiration
by Barbra Streisand

I need your sweet inspiration
I need you here on my mind
Every hour of the day
Without your sweet inspiration
The lonely hours of the night
Just don't go my way

Wanting you the way I do
I only want to be with you
And I would go to the ends of the earth
'Cause darling, to me that's what you're worth

I need your sweet inspiration
I need you here on my mind
Every hour of the day
Without your sweet inspiration
The lonely hours of the night
Just don't go my way

Oh, a woman in love needs sweet inspiration
And honey that's all I ask, you know
That's all I ask from you
I gotta have your sweet inspiration
You know there just ain't no tellin'
What a satisfied woman might do

Wanting you the way I do (sweet, sweet)
Only want to be with you (sweet, sweet)
Gonna follow where you lead (sweet, sweet)
Baby you're just what I need
Your sweet, sweet, sweet, sweet inspiration
And honey that's all I ask, you know
That's all I ask from you
I gotta have your sweet inspiration
You know there just ain't no telling
What a satisfied woman can do

You are my sweet inspiration!!!

Laughter Came from Every Brick, A Poem ♥

Laughter Came from Every Brick
from Love Poems from God, by Daniel Ladinsky

Just these two words He spoke
changed my life,
“Enjoy Me.”
What a burden I thought I was to carry -
a crucifix, as did He.
Love once said to me, “I know a song,
would you like to hear it?”
And laughter came from every brick in the street
and from every pore in the sky.
After a night of prayer,
He changed my life when
He sang,
“Enjoy Me.”

Tips to help you put more laughter in your life:
* Figure out what makes you laugh and do it (or read it or watch it) more often.
* Surround yourself with funny people — be with them every chance you get.
* Develop your own sense of humor but never at anyone else’s expense.

Celebrating the Gift of Laughter :)

Celebrating the Gift of Laughter
[source: CBMidwest]

"A merry heart makes a cheerful countenance: but by sorrow of the heart the spirit is broken." [Proverbs 15:13]

Recent research has demonstrated what our grandmothers always knew: LAUGHTER is GOOD MEDICINE. Humor and laughter make a significant contribution to both our physical and mental health. Learning to adopt a lighter attitude and see the funny side of everyday situations gives us the resilience we need to cope on the tough days.

Let us pause and recall that the God of joy and laughter is always abiding with us and filling us with life, with hope, with creativity and with a thirst for union with Him. We are God’s people, alive in the Spirit and called to continually celebrate His presence in our lives. In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

"There is a season, and a time for every matter under heave, a time to laugh, a time to dance, a time to embrace." [Ecclesiastes 3:1,4,5]

Humor is both God’s gift and a life-saving medicine.

"There’s nothing like a good laugh. It tickles our very souls. Laughter is an activity of the heart. We scrunch our souls with negativity and a lack of enthusiasm, but laughter smoothes them out. Laughter makes a noise so others can hear our feelings.” [Tickle Your Soul, Anne Bryan Smollin]

Reflection
An aspect of a child-like spirit is joyful glee. Jesus invites us to enjoy life, to nurture our sense of humor. Our faith, and especially our prayer life is enriched through this God given gift. One of the reasons I love being around children and teenagers is that they find delight in so much of life. They find delight and wonder in so many things, and notice that which we adults often times either take for granted or simply do not see. Children then usually react without the inhibitions that we adults place upon ourselves. This reaction often takes form in laughter, joyous, bubbly laughter. The humor of life is fresh and easily accessed in the childlike spirit.

Meditation
Laughter cleanses us from discouragement, anger, apathy, and grief, making room for new feelings and thoughts. Laughter frees us from self-consciousness, anxiety, and stress. Laughter helps heal our physical ailments – it massages internal organs and strengthens the life force flowing through us. Laughter teaches us to take our troubles lightly, releasing our spirits from the weight of the world and of ourselves. Laughter unites what has been separate, connecting us to one another and to our true selves. Laughter calls forth our desire to live. Laughter, then, is a source of miracles. Surely, it’s one of the places where we can meet our God. [“Glad Day,” Joan Larkin]

Intercessions
That our hearts may always be filled with joy and thanksgiving, we pray…
For those who see no joy in life, we pray…
For those who are able to lift up our spirits, we pray…
That we realize the importance of taking care of our mental and physical health through the gift of laughter, we pray…

Let us pray:
Loving Father,
Lord of clowns and smiling saints,
we rejoice that You are a God of laughter and tears.
Blessed are You, for You have rooted within us
the gifts of humor, lightheartedness and mirth.
With jokes and comedy, You cause our hearts to sing
as laughter flows out of us.
We are grateful that Your Son, Jesus, the Master,
daily invites us to be Fools for Your sake,
to embrace the madness
of Your prophets, holy people and saints.
We delight in that Holy Madness
which becomes medicine to heal the chaos of the cosmos
since it calls each of us
from the hum-drumness of daily life
into joy, adventure,
and most of all, into FREEDOM.
With circus bands and organ grinders,
with fools, clowns, court jesters and comedians,
with high spirited angels and saints,
we too join in the fun and foolishness of life,
so that Your holy laughter
may ring out to the edges of the universe.
Blessed are You, O Lord, our God,
Who invites us to be filled with holy laughter.
♥ AMEN ♥

Joke of the Day: Jesus is Watching You! ;)

Jesus is watching you!
[source: Funny Pets]

A burglar broke into a house one night. He shined his flashlight around, looking for valuables, and when he picked up a CD player to place in his pack, a strange, disembodied voice echoed from the dark saying, "Jesus is watching you."

He nearly jumped out of his skin, clicked his flashlight out, and froze. When he heard nothing more after a bit, he shook his head, promised himself a vacation after the next big score, then clicked the light on and began searching for more valuables. Just as he pulled the stereo out so he could disconnect the wires, clear as a bell he heard,

"Jesus is watching you." Freaked out, he shone his light around frantically, looking for the source of the voice. Finally, in the corner of the room, his flashlight beam came to rest on a parrot. "Did you say that?", he hissed at the parrot.

"Yes," the parrot confessed, then squawked, "I'm just trying to warn you."

The burglar relaxed. "Warn me, huh? Who in the world are you?"

"Moses," replied the bird.

"Moses?" the burglar laughed. "That's a dumb name for a parrot", sneered the burglar. "What kind of fool would name their parrot Moses?"

The parrot replied, "The same kind of fool that would name their Rottweiller Jesus."

Everybody Say's Don't... Well I Say TRY! ♥ I Hope You Are Having A MAGNIFICENT Saturday! :)

Enjoy your life, live it to the fullest and follow the music that is playing in your soul. This is from Barbra Streisand's 'Back to Broadway' album. I LOVE this song! Make it a point to spice up your life with more theatre, more opera and more comedy this year! You'll be surprised how much different your life will become. If you've never been, then I recommend you introduce yourself to the arts and entertainment. One way to start could be to look up your local opera house and performing arts theatre on the internet and find out what kind of discounts or specials they offer. If you cannot afford it, not to worry, you can watch a live performance on any PBS and KCET in your area or you can listen to a performance on a classical radio station. You can also rent a DVD of a musical, a play, an opera, a ballet or classical performance. Where there is a will, there is a way! I trust that you will find a way to expose yourself to something different that will cause you to grow and expand your level of awareness. Add more culture to your life. It is such a beautiful experience! I promise it will leave you mesmerized and inadvertently stretch your imagination. It's a good thing to step outside of your comfort zone. Do it even if you're afraid or uncomfortable. That's the only way you are going to grow. ;)

Don't make the same mistake a younger friend of mine made recently. I knew she had never been to the Opera. Therefore, I wanted her to experience the enchantment of Opera and invited her to attend a performance with me. She declined because in her mind it was boring. But how would she know that it was boring if she had never been to a live performance. She must have heard this from her friends or family or other, right? So, please do not turn down an opportunity to attend a live performance simply because of an ingrained sheltered mindset you adopted from someone else. Well, I say TRY IT and then you can make a judgement call based on YOUR personal experience and NOT what you learned from your environment. And you shouldn't care if your friends or family laughs at you. Always remember it's not their life, it's YOURS. I promise you'll eventually meet new wonderful people that are also interested in the same things that you are.

The lyrics are by Stephen Sondheim; originally for the Broadway musical, "Anyone Can Whistle".

Everybody Say's Don't
by Barbra Streisand

Everybody says don't
Everybody says don't
Everybody says don't, it isn't right,
Don't, it isn't nice.
Everybody says don't
Everybody says don't
Everybody says don't walk on the grass,
Don't disturb the peace,
Don't skate on the ice.
Well I SAY DO, I say,
Walk on the grass, it was meant to feel.
I say, sail, till to the windmill
And if you fail you fail.
Everybody says don't
Everybody says don't
Everybody says don't get out of line
When they say that then, lady that's a sign
Nine times out of ten,
Lady you're doing just fine.
Make just a ripple, come on BE BRAVE
This time a ripple, next time A WAVE
Sometimes you have to START small,
Climbing the tiniest wall -
Maybe you're going to fall
But it is BETTER than not starting at all.
Everybody says no, stop,
Mustn't rock the boat,
mustn't touch a thing
Everybody says don't
Everybody says wait
Everybody says can't fight city-hall
Can't upset the court
Can't laugh at the King.
Well, I SAY TRY, I say,
Laugh at the King, or they'll make you cry
Lose your poise
Fall if you have to, but lady MAKE A NOISE!
YES!
Everybody says don't
Everybody says can't
Everybody says wait around for miracles
That's the way the world is made
I INSIST ON MIRACLES
If you do them, MIRACLES, nothing to them
I say don't...
DON'T BE AFRAID!

I Believe In Love
by Barbra Streisand

(Feeling love is feeling good, I believe in love)
Yeah
(Feeling love is feeling good, I believe in love)
Yeah

Feeling love, that's all
That's enough for me

Yet I see, I see faces
Covered up and empty eyed
Empty spaces
Where there used to be a soul inside

Nothing and no one ever gets to you
Seems the wind could blow right through you
Believin' in gods that never knew you
I believe in love

I believe in love
I believe in feelin' good
And that's feelin' love

Now worry
Climbin' up your money tree
You've got to hurry
Monkey do what monkey see

You're on a one-way street and you're speeding
Missin' the signs you ought to be readin'
Passin' things you'll later be needin'
I believe in love, what?

I believe it nobody sold me
Always knew it, nobody told me
I believe in someone to hold me
I believe in love

I believe in love, I do
Yes, I believe in feelin' good
And that's feelin' love, yeah

(Feeling love is feeling good)

Feeling love, that's all
That's enough for me
I won't be, don't wanna be lonely

Sleeping in an empty bed
Shouldn't be only
A place to rest my head

But I don't want to find myself one day
Waking up and looking at Monday
With some what's his name left from Sunday
I believe in love, what?

I believe it nobody sold me
Always knew it, nobody told me
I believe in someone to hold me
I believe in love

I believe in love
I believe in feelin' good
Now everybody should
They believe in feelin' good
Believin' in, believin' in love, LOVE!
