WASHINGTON - Hillary Rodham Clinton now leads John McCain by 9 points in a head-to-head presidential matchup, according to an Associated Press-Ipsos poll that bolsters her argument that she is more electable than Democratic rival Barack Obama.
Obama and Republican McCain are running about even.
The survey released Monday gives the New York senator and former first lady a fresh talking point as she works to raise much-needed campaign cash and persuade pivotal undecided superdelegates to side with her in the drawn-out Democratic primary fight.
Helped by independents, young people and seniors, Clinton gained ground this month in a hypothetical match with Sen. McCain, the GOP nominee-in-waiting. She now leads McCain, 50 percent to 41 percent, while Obama remains virtually tied with McCain, 46 percent to 44 percent.
Also on Monday, the head of the Republicans' House campaign committee said the party would rather face Obama in November because the GOP believes Clinton would be more of a threat to McCain among moderate voters.
The Master, by residing in the Tao, sets an example for all beings. Because he doesn't display himself, people can see his light. Because he has nothing to prove, people can trust his words. Because he doesn't know who he is, people recognize themselves in him. Because he has no goal in mind, everything he does succeeds.

What does it mean that hope is as hollow as fear? Hope and fear are both phantoms that arise from thinking of the self. When we don't see the self as self, what do we have to fear?
See the world as your self. Have faith in the way things are. Love the world as your self; then you can care for all things.
Approach it and there is no beginning; follow it and there is no end. You can't know it, but you can be it, at ease in your own life. Just realize where you come from: this is the essence of wisdom.
The ancient Masters were profound and subtle. Their wisdom was unfathomable. There is no way to describe it; all we can describe is their appearance.
They were careful as someone crossing an iced-over stream. Alert as a warrior in enemy territory. Courteous as a guest. Fluid as melting ice. Shapable as a block of wood. Receptive as a valley. Clear as a glass of water.
Do you have the patience to wait till your mud settles and the water is clear? Can you remain unmoving till the right action arises by itself?
The Master doesn't seek fulfillment. Not seeking, not expecting,she is present, and can welcome all things.
Empty your mind of all thoughts. Let your heart be at peace. Watch the turmoil of beings, but contemplate their return.
Each separate being in the universe returns to the common Source. Returning to the Source is serenity.
If you don't realize the Source, you stumble in confusion and sorrow. When you realize where you come from, you naturally become tolerant, disinterested, amused, kindhearted as a grandmother, dignified as a king. Immersed in the wonder of the Tao, you can deal with whatever life brings you, and when death comes, you are ready.

Yet mystery and manifestations arise from the same source. This source is called darkness.
Darkness within darkness. The gateway to all understanding.
When people see some things as beautiful, other things become ugly.When people see some things as good, other things become bad.
Being and non-being create each other. Difficult and easy support each other. Long and short define each other. High and low depend on each other. Before and after follow each other.
Therefore the Master acts without doing anything and teaches without saying anything. Things arise and she lets them come; things disappear and she lets them go. She has but doesn't possess, acts but doesn't expect. When her work is done, she forgets it. That is why it lasts forever.

In dwelling, live close to the ground. In thinking, keep to the simple. In conflict, be fair and generous. In governing, don't try to control. In work, do what you enjoy. In family life, be completely present.
When you are content to be simply yourself and don't compare or compete, everybody will respect you.
Fill your bowl to the brim and it will spill. Keep sharpening your knife and it will blunt. Chase after money and security and your heart will never unclench.

Do your work, then step back. The only path to serenity.

It all became so clear for me today. Thank you God! Bush et al have been making it their mission to make tax cuts for the WEALTY permanent! This includes CORPORATE tax cuts! The Democratic Congress and a few Republican Congresspersons have NOT signed this bill into law! However, they have been enjoying these tax breaks for quite some time now. Let us examine how well their raise has helped this Nation and if they EARNED this raise Bush so generously blessed them with.
The Republican argument is that if the new President raises taxes on the wealthy and Corporations, then that will prevent job creation. Yeah, can you believe this is what they're pushing as their defense! WHAT JOBS? The Corporate tax cuts include a tax break for sending OUR JOBS overseas. The Corporations should be penalized not rewarded for this decision. The PROSPERITY should remain here in OUR country! If the common citizen is NOT employed how is that helping the U.S. economy?
How well have all of these egregious tax breaks been working so far for the people of this nation? Hhhmm... let's see, a FLOOD of layoffs last year and a tsunami more to come.
Because of the Republican GREED, America will be brought to her knees! Not only will the common citizen be affected, the wealthy will lose most of their imagined (un-realized gains) wealth. The wealthiest have already taken measures to protect their wealth, move it into safer waters. The Corporations are being forced to reduce production to stay alive or closed altogether because the COMMON citizen is UNABLE to pay for goods and services! That is the END result of this economic fiasco. The roaring 2000's is OVER! Now because of their selfishness, greed, corruption and fraud WE all have to pay the piper.
Let's all be objective about this for a moment. The rich have been getting SUPER rich and the middle class is being sucked into a vacuum, and the poor well it seems as if they have been forgotten by everybody.

I heard a story about a man that was in a post office with his small son. When the little boy saw the pictures of the people on the wall that had committed crimes. At the top it said the 'ten most wanted' and at the bottom it said in big bold letters 'armed and dangerous'. The little boy was intrigued by it. He asked his father what it meant. The dad explained how those people had done wrong and now the authorities were trying to find them. The little boy thought about it for a minute and said, 'dad why didn't they just keep them (the criminals) when they took their picture?' Leave it to a child to say the truth.

I want to talk to you today about having a 'can do' mentality. Too many people go around with a weak, defeated mindset. When they face adversity or some kind of difficulty, instead of digging their heels in and fighting the good fight of faith, they get discouraged thinking I can't do this any longer. I can't raise this child it's too hard. I can't go to this job another day. Or this sickness will probably be the end of me. They have a weakness mentality, instead of a 'can do' mentality. It seems like they're always under attack. You ask them how they are doing, 'well pretty good under the circumstances'. What are you doing under there? We're supposed to be ABOVE only and NEVER beneath.
You may have difficult circumstances, but know this... God has already given you the strength you need to NOT just endure it, but to be there with a 'good attitude'. But it all starts right here, WE have to have the RIGHT mindset. Everyday you should say, 'I can do what I need to do'. This job may be tough but God has given me His strength. This child may be hard to raise but I know I am well able. This marriage may be difficult but I'm NOT going to give in and take the easy way out. I'm going to stay strong and fight the good fight of faith.
We have to have our minds made up that NO MATTER what comes against us, we have the strength to OVERCOME! It maybe something small during the day, a flat tire, a grouchy person, a child that's acting up, DEEP DOWN you have to KNOW that I'm not going to get upset. You don't have to lose your cool, God's given you the power to stay calm. When you're in those situations, you need to remind yourself, I have the strength to stay in VICTORY! If you'll have the right attitude, the right mindset life will go a whole lot better.
It says in psalms, "God has given us the POWER to remain calm in times of adversity". The whole key is that we have to activate that power. The way we do it is by believing. Even in bigger things, maybe your facing a serious illness, the medical report doesn't look good, now your tempted to live worried, negative, give up on your dreams. Or maybe it's a situation in your finances, seems impossible to you. Or at the office people are talking about you stirring up strife. The easiest thing is to just sink back and think to bad for me, live negative and defeated.
But no YOU have to get rid of that WEAKNESS mentality and start having a WARRIOR mentality! God has strength for YOU right where you are. He wants you to have VICTORY right in the midst of that storm. But so much of it depends on our approach. The scripture says in 2 Samuel 22:40 "YOU have ARMED me with STRENGTH for the battle. YOU have PUT my ENEMIES under my FEET." Verse 43 says, "I grind them like fine dust into the ground." Notice that phrase, God has armed you with strength for the battle. You may be in tough times, but God has EQUIPPED you and EMPOWERED you with everything YOU NEED to be victorious!
God knows what you're going through. He knows the challenges you're going to face in the future. He doesn't say, 'Have a pitty party and wait 'til it's over, get depressed, give up on your dreams." NO He says here RISE up in faith for I have armed you with strength for that battle! Deep down in here (your spirit) you've got to know that you know this thing is NOT GOING TO DEFEAT ME. It may look difficult. It may look impossible. But I'm NEVER giving up, I know that I've been armed with strength for the battle. And I believe when it's all said and done, I'm still going to be standing STRONG!

You see in the natural when things don't go our way, we should get down and discouraged, drag through life defeated. But instead you have that WARRIOR mentality. You have your shoulder's back, you have a smile on your face. You're doing the RIGHT thing even though the WRONG thing is happening to YOU.
When you rise up in faith like that, it not only allows God to fight your battles for you, but that TOTALLY CONFUSES the enemy! When you get up in the morning, I believe the forces of darkness look at you and say, 'oh no s/he's awake again' Friends you ARE armed and dangerous. Don't YOU DARE drag through life with a weak and defeated mindset. Quit telling yourself, 'I can't do this', 'It's too hard for me', 'I'm not able'. NO you HAVE THE MOST POWERFUL FORCE in the UNIVERSE on the inside! Tap into that power. Declare everyday, 'I AM well able'. 'I CAN do ALL things through Christ'. 'I AM a VICTOR and NOT a victim'. 'I HAVE the power to overcome'. When you do that, something is happening on the inside. You are getting STRONG.
Really anybody can sit around and talk about what didn't work out, and the breaks we didn't get, and how unfair life is. We ALL have things coming against us. You may be in a storm, BUT the whole key is DON'T let the storm get in YOU! Stay in PEACE. Stay DETERMINED. Stay AGGRESSIVE. You've been ARMED with strength for whatever you're going through. It's so important the way we see ourselves. We WILL NEVER rise above the IMAGE we have of ourselves. If you SEE yourself as weak, defeated, not able to, that will keep you in mediocrity. But if YOU can DEVELOP a NEW IMAGE on the inside and START to see yourself the way God see's YOU, strong, courageous, more than a conqueror! The people in "Position's of Power" are INTENT on starving the poorest of the poor. In their sick darkened eyes, it is their way of exterminating the diseased part of humanity.
Just think about this for a moment please... The people in "Position's of Power" around the WORLD control our entire food supply. They have even gone so far as to manipulate a gross appreciation in the PRICE of every commodity (ie; rice, corn, flour, wheat, etc.). Now many nations have blocked access to the sacks of food that many charities are trying to deliver into the hands of the poor, sick and needy! God's children are deliberately being STARVED to DEATH.
God created this planet to provide an abundant supply of all needs for every living creature. NO human being should be without basic food and clean water. It is OUR responsibility, as a Global Society to hold these people in "Position's of Power" in CONTEMPT! Citizens of the World, we can NOT live in fear. If anyone is to be cleansed from the face of this earth it is these people in "Position's of Power" who have arrogantly abused their authority. These tyrants ARE the real terrorists, a dis-ease to humanity and this planet!
President Bush supports the Sudanese (Darfur) government where they have systematically gotten away with Genocide. What's really sick about this situation is that it is NOT even being done in secret. The same is true in North Korea. There are countless of other nations suffering almost near the same fate. President Bush and his administration also supports China! China economically supports the Myanmar (Burma) government, the Sudanese (Darfur) government, Iranian government, etc. by purchasing their OIL and using their veto power against any sanctions the United Nations wants to place on these nations being governed by Military Dictators!

I decided long ago - never to walk in anyone's shadows,
What I am feeling in my spirit today is experiencing the joy of non-attachment. For example, I am not attached to my job title, my job, my home, my car, my friends, my family or even my life-partner. Basically, I am NOT attached to anyone or anything. I am the same person with or without. I am also not attached to outcomes because I know that I know that God is in control and everything works out in the most perfect way.
I simply walk in God's love, peace and joy. I trust God to lead me where it is I need to be lead. I still have to do my part of course. Like my grandmother used to always say, 'The mountain is not going to come to you. YOU have to go to the mountain.' Nevertheless, I AM an instrument of His WILL completely NO questions asked.
I AM love. I AM peace. I AM joy. I AM content. I AM grateful that God is my inspiration!
By letting go of self-perceived images you are in essense allowing the ebb and flow of the Universe to pulsate through you. Because we each have a vibrational frequency, we can either attract or dispel situations or other people throughout our lives. Therefore, it is so very important for all of us to be aware of the kind of energy we are putting out. But once you reach the level of non-attachment in all things, you just become LIGHT. God = Love, Truth and Light!
When this shift occurs in your life, everything around you, where ever you go ALTERS to meet your level of vibrational frequency. Remember darkness can not exist where there is LIGHT!
Imagine yourself as being a glass of pure water. You will meet many people throughout your lifetime. CHOOSE to offer everybody who crosses your path a glass of fresh clean water to quench their thirst. I am using this analogy because God just showed me a glass of pure water and a glass of oil. Water signifying life and Oil signifying dark negative energy. Which one would you choose to drink? Which one would you choose to offer?

Wow! This video and song are AMAZING... I woke up this morning with three words on my tongue and searched for these key words on YouTube 'God Inspiration Universe'. I was lead to this video adapted to a song that Chris Tomlin wrote titled, 'Indescribable'. I never heard this song before today. I love love love the lyrics to this song! I have taken the following from the person who created this video named meltingearth YouTube description:

Bono was just on 'Idol Gives Back' encouraging everyone to sign up at ONE.org, saying: “Today, save a life, tomorrow, change the WORLD.”
After, the three current presidential candidates spoke about the importance of fighting poverty. In December, ONE members sent tens of thousands of petitions and got all the candidates to go on the record with their plans to combat global poverty.
Wow! I love Elton John and I am so happy that he performed for Hillary! The people of the World are watching our elections closely and even they feel strongly that Hillary is the MOST qualified candidate in this election. I have taken the following from a Daily News politics article.
Elton John used Hillary Clinton's $2.5 million fund-raiser at Radio City Music Hall Wednesday night to stand up for women's rights.
"I never cease to be amazed at the misogynistic attitude of some of the people of this country, and I say to hell with it," said John, clad in a sequined black dinner jacket, red silk shirt and red sunglasses. "I love you, Hillary, and I'll be there for you just like all the times you were there for me. Hillary should be the next President of America."
Clinton introduced John as "a friend of Bill's and mine for many years," and recalled how moved she was when she heard him perform "Candle in the Wind" at Princess Diana's funeral.
Before leaving the stage, the Democratic presidential hopeful also thanked John's longtime partner, David Furnish, "for his support and his efforts on behalf of so many causes. And I think all of us can conclude the answer to the following question, 'Can you feel the love tonight?'"

I was driving home this afternoon in sheer exhaustion. Then this song came on the radio and totally brightened and altered my mood completely. I just had to post this song and lyrics to encourage the rest of you to 'Sing A Song'.

Ben Bernanke has the NERVE to claim that he was NOT informed of the imminent trouble at Bear Stearns until 24 hours prior! Any monkey could have seen Bear Stearns FAILURE a mile away, meaning you do not have to be a PHd to see the END result of their bad investment choices! The 'KEY' issue here in the Banking and Investment firm crisis is LIQUIDITY and CAPITAL! If the Federal Reserve finds themselves bailing out the Banks as they have been for the past YEAR then wouldn't that be the largest RED FLAG!
Ben Bernanke also said that he does NOT expect a repeat of the Bear Stearns type of problem! My gosh Ben I know you are a highly intelligent man or at least I'd like to think so. How can you sit there and confidently make such a statement? Ben I know that you know as does Sec. Treasury Henry Paulson that we are expecting at least 2 million foreclosures within a year. Won't the foreclosures continue to adversely affect the SIV's, CDO's, MBS's that the Investment firms and Banks carry? Won't this cause more severe LOSSES for the Investment firms and Banks?
Wall Street Banks have been hemorrhaging and YOU Ben keep siphoning BILLIONS upon BILLIONS of our tax payer dollars to keep them alive! Do we no longer believe in FREE markets? How about the Banks taking responsibility for mis-managing their capital or investing in or even CREATING HIGH risk investment vehicles, not to mention creating and pimping loan programs that your dog FIDO could quality for. By the way Ben, these OBSCENE loan programs (negative amortization loans) are STILL being peddled by the Banks you are determined to save!!! So basically, this financial economic nightmare is being perpetuated! Haven't the Banks learned anything or YOU Ben for that matter!?!?
Ben Bernanke continued to say that recent market actions SUGGEST adequate capital is available. Whatever happend to financial reporting, looking at corporate balance sheets? Ben, how on earth can you use this schizophrenic market as the basis for your confidence?
Ben Bernanke went on to say that lending to Investment Banks is being done with increased scrutiny. Puhleeeeese spare us the RHETORIC! Then Ben said that the Federal Reserve did NOT bail out Bear Stearns. Really? What would you call taking on $30 BILLION dollars of Bear Stearns BAD DEBT!!! Do you understand that this whole financial MESS was created and is NOW become a economic disaster because YOU Ben and Sec. Treasury Henry Paulson were NOT regulating, basically doing YOUR jobs in the FIRST PLACE! What kind of example are you REALLY trying to set here? Your message to the Banking Institutions and Investment Firms is that they do NOT have to take responsibility for their actions! What you have done is completely un-ETHICAL!
