Seven Woes

1. Then Jesus said to the crowds and to his disciples: 2. "The teachers of the law and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat. 3. So you must obey them and do everything they tell you. But do not do what they do, for they do not practice what they preach. 4. They tie up heavy loads and put them on men's shoulders, but they themselves are not willing to lift a finger to move them.

5. "Everything they do is done for men to see: They make their phylacteries wide and the tassels on their garments long; 6. they love the place of honor at banquets and the most important seats in the synagogues; 7. they love to be greeted in the marketplaces and to have men call them 'Rabbi.'

8. "But you are not to be called 'Rabbi,' for you have only one Master and you are all brothers. 9. And do not call anyone on earth 'father,' for you have one Father, and he is in heaven. 10. Nor are you to be called 'teacher,' for you have one Teacher, the Christ. 11. The greatest among you will be your servant. 12. For whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted.

13. "Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You shut the kingdom of heaven in men's faces. You yourselves do not enter, nor will you let those enter who are trying to. 14. Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you devour widows’ houses, and for a pretense make long prayers. Therefore you will receive greater condemnation.

15."Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You travel over land and sea to win a single convert, and when he becomes one, you make him twice as much a son of hell as you are.

16. "Woe to you, blind guides! You say, 'If anyone swears by the temple, it means nothing; but if anyone swears by the gold of the temple, he is bound by his oath.' 17. You blind fools! Which is greater: the gold, or the temple that makes the gold sacred? 18. You also say, 'If anyone swears by the altar, it means nothing; but if anyone swears by the gift on it, he is bound by his oath.' 19. You blind men! Which is greater: the gift, or the altar that makes the gift sacred? 20. Therefore, he who swears by the altar swears by it and by everything on it. 21. And he who swears by the temple swears by it and by the one who dwells in it. 22. And he who swears by heaven swears by God's throne and by the one who sits on it.

23. "Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You give a tenth of your spices—mint, dill and cummin. But you have neglected the more important matters of the LAW—justice, mercy and faithfulness. You should have practiced the latter, without neglecting the former. 24. You blind guides! You strain out a gnat but swallow a camel.

25. "Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You clean the outside of the cup and dish, but inside they are full of greed and self-indulgence. 26. Blind Pharisee! First clean the inside of the cup and dish, and then the outside also will be clean.

27. "Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You are like whitewashed tombs, which look beautiful on the outside but on the inside are full of dead men's bones and everything unclean. 28. In the same way, on the outside you appear to people as righteous but on the inside you are full of hypocrisy and wickedness.

29. "Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You build tombs for the prophets and decorate the graves of the righteous. 30. And you say, 'If we had lived in the days of our forefathers, we would not have taken part with them in shedding the blood of the prophets.' 31. So you testify against yourselves that you are the descendants of those who murdered the prophets. 32. Fill up, then, the measure of the sin of your forefathers!

33. "You snakes! You brood of vipers! How will you escape being condemned to hell? 34. Therefore I am sending you prophets and wise men and teachers. Some of them you will kill and crucify; others you will flog in your synagogues and pursue from town to town. 35. And so upon you will come all the righteous blood that has been shed on earth, from the blood of righteous Abel to the blood of Zechariah son of Berekiah, whom you murdered between the temple and the altar. 36. I tell you the truth, all this will come upon this generation.

37. "O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you, how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing. 38. Look, your house is left to you desolate. 39. For I tell you, you will not see me again until you say, 'Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.'"

Romans 2 (New Living Translation)

God’s Judgment of Sin

1. You may think you can condemn such people, but you are just as bad, and you have no excuse! When you say they are wicked and should be punished, you are condemning yourself, for you who judge others do these very same things. 2. And we know that God, in his justice, will punish anyone who does such things. 3. Since you judge others for doing these things, why do you think you can avoid God’s judgment when you do the same things? 4. Don’t you see how wonderfully kind, tolerant, and patient God is with you? Does this mean nothing to you? Can’t you see that his kindness is intended to turn you from your sin?

5. But because you are stubborn and refuse to turn from your sin, you are storing up terrible punishment for yourself. For a day of anger is coming, when God’s righteous judgment will be revealed. 6. He will judge everyone according to what they have done. 7. He will give eternal life to those who keep on doing good, seeking after the glory and honor and immortality that God offers. 8. But he will pour out his anger and wrath on those who live for themselves, who refuse to obey the truth and instead live lives of wickedness. 9. There will be trouble and calamity for everyone who keeps on doing what is evil—for the Jew first and also for the Gentile. 10. But there will be glory and honor and peace from God for all who do good—for the Jew first and also for the Gentile. 11. For God does not show favoritism.

12. When the Gentiles sin, they will be destroyed, even though they never had God’s written law. And the Jews, who do have God’s law, will be judged by that law when they fail to obey it. 13. For merely listening to the law doesn’t make us right with God. It is obeying the law that makes us right in his sight. 14. Even Gentiles, who do not have God’s written LAW, show that they KNOW His LAW when they INSTINCTIVELY OBEY IT, even WITHOUT having heard it. 15. They demonstrate that God’s LAW is WRITTEN in their HEARTS, for their own conscience and thoughts either accuse them or tell them they are doing right. 16. And this is the message I proclaim—that the day is coming when God, through Christ Jesus, will judge everyone’s secret life.

The Jews (Christians) and the Law

17. You who call yourselves Jews (Christians) are relying on God’s law, and you boast about your special relationship with him. 18. You know what he wants; you know what is right because you have been taught his law. 19. You are convinced that you are a guide for the blind and a light for people who are lost in darkness. 20. You think you can instruct the ignorant and teach children the ways of God. For you are certain that God’s law gives you complete knowledge and truth.

21. Well then, if you teach others, why don’t you teach yourself? You tell others not to steal, but do you steal? 22. You say it is wrong to commit adultery, but do you commit adultery? You condemn idolatry, but do you use items stolen from pagan temples? 23. You are so proud of knowing the law, but you dishonor God by breaking it. 24. No wonder the Scriptures say, “The Gentiles blaspheme the name of God because of you.”

25. The Jewish (Christians) ceremony of circumcision has value only if you obey God’s law. But if you don’t obey God’s law, you are no better off than an uncircumcised Gentile. 26. And if the Gentiles obey God’s law, won’t God declare them to be his own people? 27. In fact, uncircumcised Gentiles who keep God’s law will condemn you Jews (Christians) who are circumcised and possess God’s law but don’t obey it.

28. For you are not a true Jew (Christian) just because you were born of Jewish (Christian) parents or because you have gone through the ceremony of circumcision. 29. NO, a true Jew (Christian) is one whose HEART is right with God. And true circumcision is not merely obeying the letter of the law; rather, it is a change of HEART produced by God’s Spirit. And a PERSON with a changed HEART SEEKS praise from God, NOT from people.

I have a message for every gay, lesbian, transgendered, transexual and I cannot forget to include hermaphrodite. If you have never been told this by another human being, then allow me to be the first to say God loves you so much. God has always loved you. God has never stopped loving you. You are a child of the most High God. You have always been His child. You have never stopped being His child. God understands the pain you have felt when your family, your friends, your community and your church abandoned you and left you to fend for yourself in this cruel world. God wants to embrace you and heal every wound. God almighty is your Heavenly Father, He is your Creator. God wants to have a personal relationship with you. Don't allow the evil religious zealots to keep you from knowing your Heavenly father. God is God ALL by Himself. God doesn't need a religious label or organization to make Him so. We are born alone and we die alone. Your earthly journey and spiritual growth is between you and God and nobody else! God has a purpose and plan for you. It could very well be how His earthly representatives treat you? Therefore, I ask you today to seek God's love and presence from right where you are. Talk to Him. Tell Him I need You in my life God. I want to get to know You God. Help me to feel Your presence God. This is your way of opening the door to your heart and allowing Him in. Allow yourself to be enveloped and transformed by His LIGHT and His LOVE! I promise you that God's LOVE is beyond anything you have ever felt or even imagined. There is absolutely no comparison! God will replace all your emotional pain, tears, feelings of lonliness, feelings of isolation and feelings of abandonment with an abundance of His Eternal Love, Peace, Joy and Happiness! But most importantly God's presence will give you FREEDOM!

Now I have a special message for every homophobic person on this planet. I ask that you please hear me out. I would like to share my perspective and observations for the past 39 years of my entire life.

I would first like to begin with my childhood experience. Growing up my parents had many gay friends. I didn't know they were gay at the time. As a child I didn't distinguish the differences because I only saw and felt was LOVE and RESPECT. They were couples who had loved each other for 5, 10 and even 20 years. They became an extension of my family as I would call them auntie or uncle. Some even had children who were my childhood friends. It wasn't until I reached Junior High that I was introduced to labels and discrimination. I heard classmates calling a male classmate a 'faggot' and then harassed him repeatedly, eventually leading to a vicious attack that landed him in the hospital. I don't even think the kid was gay, they ONLY thought he was. Let me point out that I grew up in a very nice suburban neighborhood. These were not street thugs, they were regular clean cut boys. Now let me ask you, as a child who do you think I thought was the EVIL person(s)? The boys who name called, harassed and beat up another boy? or the boy who did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to provoke this reaction? If you truly love God and know Him, then I believe your answer would be the former. Who do you think these boys learned that hateful behavior from? Their parents and their church. They were taught to hate. A child comes into this world still connected to God and knows nothing other than LOVE! Until their environment causes them to feel and think otherwise...

Now let me jump forward to the present day. My mom currently lives near Cedar Sinai hospital in Los Angeles which is adjacent to West Hollywood, a well known Gay community in Los Angeles. Let me first say that West Hollywood has to be the cleanest most well kept city in Los Angeles County. I have brought up my mom's location to point out that you don't find gay people knocking door to door recruiting heterosexual (straight) people to convert to gaydom. You don't find gay people at schools trying to recruit, kidnap or rape children. You don't find gay people drunk in the streets having orgies in public. It is not the Sodom and Gomorrah pastor's like to preach. Not even on the weekends. In fact, my mom couldn't feel safer. Everybody minds their own business and helps out when necessary. Now I on the other hand live smack dab in the middle of all the major studios in Los Angeles. I know I too am surrounded by gay people. I honestly couldn't distinguish who was gay and who was not. Frankly, I don't care. All I see are law abiding tax paying citizens who take care of our community. What gay people do in the privacy of their home and who they love is none of my business period. In the same way what a heterosexual (straight) person or couple does in the privacy of their home is none of my business. As long as they are good people, kind and respectful to all of humanity that to me are important qualities of ANY human being.

If you believe in INDIVIDUAL RIGHTS then it should very well apply to all and not a select few. Gay couples should at least be allowed to be protected under a civil union law that prevents their straight family members from scavenging assets like vultures upon a gay partner's death. Thus, leaving the surviving partner with NOTHING! Did you know that gay couples don't have hospital visitation rights, only 'family' members are allowed? They are NOT able to personally say 'good bye' to their partner on their death bed! How wrong is that!? Look their life has nothing to do with you. Their life is between them and God. As Jesus once said, "Give to Caesar what is Caesar's, and give to God what is God's."

Let me ask you this, have you ever heard about a gay criminal? Do you know of any gay murderers, gay rapist, gay child molestors, gay pimps, gay drug dealers, gay gangsters, gay thieves, gay terrorists? I want you to seriously think about that for a moment. Because the only answer you will discover is NO. I bet you never stopped your hatred long enough to even consider this question.

I believe your attention is entirely misguided and missplaced. It is heterosexual (straight) men of every race who commit all of the crimes I mentioned above. Perhaps a small percentage of these crimes are attributed to (straight) women. Everyday we hear news about a (straight) man committing a murder or a woman was raped by a (straight) man. The pedophiles across America and around the world are (straight) men who molest children and destroy their lives. Let me point out that most of these child molestor's reported are the (straight and married) father, uncle or pastor of their church. Why do you think prostestution exists? The answer is because of paying customers that are (straight and sometimes married) men. Who goes to sex brothels around the world? The answer (straight) men. Who do we hear that is keeping our teens as sex slaves in America? The answer is (straight) men and women. The gangsters who sell drugs, steal, kill and destroy communities across America are ALL (straight) men and women. Who do you think ALL of the children in our foster care system belong to? Yep, you guessed right UNFIT (straight) men and women. And the radical muslim terrorists, well that's another no-brainer, they are all (straight) men! I AM ONLY SHARING FACTS with you that I want you to seriously think about. Therefore, who do you think DESERVES your attention? Who do you think is a GREATER THREAT to society. If you are in your right mind and truly love God, even if you didn't know God, I have no doubt you have answered the (straight) CRIMINALS who are out to DESTROY the fabric of our being! PLEASE STOP DEFLECTING attention away from THE TRUTH! Let's get real here! It is these heterosexual (straight) human parasites and perverts that are abominations in the eyes of the LORD.

Satan comes to STEAL, KILL and DESTROY! These are the criminals. Do you have ANY idea how awful you appear to God when He see's His earthly representatives hunt down homosexual people to harass, beat-up and sometimes KILL? You have focused your attention on these people, YET there are MILLIONS of God's children Ophaned, MILLIONS of God's children sexually abused by pedophiles, MILLIONS of God's children being kidnapped and forced into sexual slavery and slave labor, MILLIONS of God's children DYING from starvation and disease, MILLIONS of God's children being KILLED on the streets by gangsters! As long as everything I mentioned CONTINUES to EXIST, you have no right to evoke your righteous indignation upon gay people. You have CONVENIENTLY FORGOTTEN that they have to answer to God, BUT SO DO YOU!

One last thing, Sodom and Gomorrah is every (straight) sexual and massage parlor across America and have you seen the commercials for 'Girls Gone Wild'??? These ordinary looking college students are all (straight) young men and women who are filmed having orgies at all spring break locations. How about the (straight) married couples who like to attend 'swing' parties? This term means they can have sex with whomever they want for the night. Anything goes! How about those graphic (straight) pimping gangster rap videos filled with sexuality and violence? This is what is INFLUENCING YOUR CHILDREN! I'm just pointing out that it is time for the religious community to reflect upon themselves. You claim to be representatives of God. Well it's time you start acting like it. Your hateful actions and words scare people away from knowing God. In fact, I believe you're the reason why there are so many atheists! Aren't you supposed to be a reflection of God? I don't care if you know the bible cover to cover and have it memorized, that proves nothing so does Satan. It's what's in your HEART that counts! A beacon of LIGHT serves NO PURPOSE if it's shrouded in darkness!

God Loves Me ~ by Joyce Meyer Part 2 of 2

Wow! This is such a beautiful message given by Joyce Meyer that I want to share with you describing God's love for us all. We are ALL children of the most High God. God is just waiting for us to embrace Him. God loves us unconditionally. Will you receive Him today? When you do God will wipe the tears from your eyes and envelope you with a love like nothing you've ever experienced in your entire life. Nothing compares to God's LOVE. I have typed a transcript of the first 7 minutes for my international readers who need to translate.

Because His love is everlasting. It endures forever. And it says that over and over and over and over. If you'll just repent and return to Me My love is everlasting. My love endures forever. My mercy is everlasting. I don't understand this kind of love, but I've read enough in the bible to know that either God is a liar or it's real. And I know that He is not a man that he should lie. So therefore I've decided to believe that God's love for me and you is UNCONDITIONAL and I cannot wear Him out.

Because the love of God is what heals your personality. Knowing that God loves you is what begins to give you confidence. Knowing that God loves helps you to step out into new things. Knowing that God loves you enables you when you make mistakes to shake it off and go on. Knowing that God loves you enables you to get past your past. Knowing that God loves you sets you free from having to compare youself with other people. Knowing the love of God gets you through those hard times. And it gets you through them without so much confusion and without so much fear because you know that He loves you. Therefore, no matter what's going on even if it doesn't make any sense to you, you know that someway somehow that God has got a plan.

You have to have a foundation. I couldn't have gone anywhere in ministry without a foundation. Because if you don't know the love of God, the devil will take you out. If you don't know the love of God, he will defeat your confidence. You'll never step out and try new things. You'll never be the one who get's out of the boat. Because you will live in fear. 1 John 4:16-18 says that, "Perfect love casteth out fear." Fear hath torment and when we know the perfect love of God, then fear leaves us. So I guess I have figured out in my life until I have no more fear than I still need more revelation on the love of God.

I needed a revelation on the love of God. I was sexually abused in my childhood. I didn't have a right foundation. I'd been through a bad marriage where I got anything but love. He ran around with other women, wrote bad checks, and went to jail, drank etc etc. So I didn't know what love was, anybody who had ever said they loved me, until I met Dave Meyer, they didn't do anything but abuse me and use me and just try to mess me up more. Now Dave was trying to love me, but by now I'm so mess up I didn't know how to receive love. Cause see when you don't feel lovable then anybody who tries to love you, you deflect that and throw it back at them and you respond weirdly because don't believe that you are lovable. So God wants to come along and get involved in our lives and make us believe that we are lovable, so we can begin to love ourselves in a balanced way, begin to love God and begin to love other people and receive love from them. It's all about love.

So for a year I studied the love of God. I read every kind of book I can get on the love of God. I'm talking about God's love for me. I looked every scripture that I could find. You know it's good to hear me preach these scriptures to you, but you'll get even more if you look them up. There is something about making an effort. God honors an effort. The measure of thought and study that you give to the truth that you hear is the measure of virtue and knowledge that will come back to you again. That's in Mark chapter 4. When you hear something, now you need to take the ball and run with it. You need to study. You need to pray. You need to meditate. A good thing to do is find scriptures that you know you need write them out in long hand. Get a concordance and look up the word love in the back and every scripture that applies to how much God loves you, look it up and read it out loud.

Confess out loud, numerous times every day that God loves you. Go look at yourself in the mirror and say that God loves you. And I'll tell you something when I first started saying that I had to choke it out because it was just unbelievable to me. Now I can tell somebody else that God loves you. I could quote John 3:16 to you. But for me... I mean some of you desperately needed this. I've had some people tell me I saw you look at the t.v. screen and pointed your finger at me. I remember one girl said, "You look in that television screen and you pointed your finger and you said God loves you." And she said, "when you said that it was like everything changed, I couldn't believe that anybody loved me." Do you know that there are apparently people in the world who never hear that. Who are desperate for those words. They don't have somebody in their life that's telling them I love you, your special, your precious, you have value. People mistreat people. We beat up on each other and we even do it in the church.

And I'm telling you today and all of you watching by television, "GOD LOVES YOU!" His love is everlasting. It endures forever. His love is UNCONDITIONAL. He can't help Himself. He chose you. He picked you out for Himself. He knows everything about you. There is NOTHING that He doesn't know about you and He still loves you. And that is what causes people to respond to receive Christ.

The love of God. The goodness of God, the bible says leads men to repentence. I needed healing. I'd never had love ministered to me properly. And I needed to be loved. I needed that love to bring wholeness into my life. And I remember I would say God loves me. God loves me. And then I would even say, now Joyce we're not talking about the mailman, the postman the milkman. We're talking about God, God loves me! A year I kept this up. All along I'd get a little stronger revelation, a little more understanding. And I don't know exactly when it happened, but all of a sudden one day man it locked in. I mean those roots went down in my wounded soul and got intertwined and took hold.

And see now I'm free to step out into new things because you know what even if I make a mistake and it don't work and I have to say you know what I missed God, it's no big deal because He loves me. And even if somebody else judges me and critisize me and says things about me falsely, I may not like it and it may hurt but I'll make it because I know that He loves me. I know His promises. And a person here on earth may reject me and say I don't want to have anything to do with you, I don't want to be in relationship with you, I don't like you anymore, it may hurt but I can make it because He loves me. He loves me. He loves me. He loves me.

But one of the things that I want to tell you to do is I want you to start watching for signs of God's love. And I want you to keep a journal....

You will never make it through the trials in your life and remain a worshipper if you're not rooted and grounded in the love of God. Because if you don't know by revelation that God loves you no matter what happens in your life, God loves you. When you have trials and tribulation, when you have difficulty the first thing the devil is going to whisper in your ear is, "well doesn't God love you?" And that's something I don't want to ever come out of your mouth again, "well God don't you love me?" God loves you period end of the conversation. He doesn't know how to do anything else. It's not what He does for a pasttime. It's who He is. God loves because He is LOVE, He can't do anything else. His love is UNCONDITIONAL.

But you know what? Even though legally and positionally according to the Word of God, the moment that you're born again God pours His love into your heart, if you never hook up with that by Faith then that love can never really do you any good and it can never flow through you to somebody else. And that's so important. Because we see that Jesus said, "one new commandment I give unto you that you love one another." And so many times we come into the church, we come into the kingdom of God and we hear these messages about loving each other and we start trying to but we can't because we don't even love ourselves yet. Do you know how many people walked in here today that don't even really like yourself. I mean you would trade with somebody else in a flat second if you could. You're always wanting somebody else's life, somebody else's looks, somebody else's job. What about the life God gave you? Why don't you make it special. God don't make no junk!

You've got to start by saying God loves me and if He can love me then I can love myself. If God who is perfect and never does anything wrong, is almighty, all powerful, all knowing. If I can believe the first four verses of Psalm 139, that there is nothing about me that He doesn't know. He knows not only everything I have done, but everything I ever will do. God knows every dumb mistake that I am ever going to make from now until the time Jesus comes back to get me. And He still says I choose you, I love you, I've called you, I want to live in you, I want to fellowship with you, I want to be your best friend.

And I want to cover your mistakes. I want to show My strength through your weaknesses if you'll trust me. I want to help you in everything that you do if you'll just understand that apart from me you can do nothing. Just call on Me. Just seek Me. Just desire Me. You need to understand that you are His property bought with the blood of Jesus (Yeshua). You've been consecrated, set apart. You're not here for ordinary use. You are an ambassador of Christ. God living in you, making His appeal to the world through you. You are a carrier of the Glory of God.

You know if we would think about this kind of stuff instead of our stinking problems we would enjoy our life a whole lot more. You ought to get up in the morning and take the first five minutes and be very careful about your self talk. Because the way you talk to yourself early in the day kind of get's you wound up for the day. I double dare you to try it getting up and just walking around the first five minutes and saying, "Christ lives in me. The Glory of God lives in me. I'm a new creature in Christ. God loves me. I've got value. I've got a purpose. God gives me favor everywhere I go. Something wonderful is going to happen to me today. I'm going to bless somebody today. I'm not going to be depressed. I'm not going to be sad." How you talk to yourself and what you say over your life is one of the most important principles in the Word of God. "Calling those things that be not as though they are." God created with words. Words contain power negative or postive power. Life and death is in the tongue.

Ephesians 1:4, "... And blameless in His sight. Even above reproach. Before Him in love." Even above reproach and the word reproach means shame and blame. That's all that guilt, shame, blame, feeling bad about yourself. The whole message here is, I chose you. I picked you out for Me. You belong to Me. Now you don't have to spend your life feeling bad about yourself. Blaming yourself for every mistake. Going around feeling rotten, feeling like you're no good. No I love you and because I love you that assigns WORTH and VALUE to you and so you can say, "even though I don't do everything right and I've got a ways to go in my behavior, I KNOW WHO I AM IN CHRIST. Stop getting your who and your do mixed up.

We cannot earn God's love. We must receive by Faith. Psalm 139:5, "You have beset me and shut me in - behind and before, and You have laid Your hand upon me." It's kind of like saying, God you have boxed me in. I can't go any further than here. And I can't go any further than here. I'm in this place that I don't want to be in. I am re-posting this message for my new readers. This song by Celine Dion titled, 'Because You Loved Me' is very precious to me. It perfectly conveys my LOVE for God. I have dedicated this song to God, my Heavenly Father.

As I mentioned in my previous spiritual weekend post, I have my own personal relationship with God. However, I must add that it wasn't easy for me to reach this level of Nirvana. I was just as stubborn as the next person thinking I had everything under control. Well, guess what I discovered the HARD way, that the only thing I have absolute control over is MYSELF. Little ole me! It was about 6 years ago when my personal change occurred and I let go. The KEY word here is 'personal'. This was not a church or a cult thing. It was my own personal experience with my Creator. I can honestly say from true experience that I AM GRATEFUL for this transformation. I can be surrounded by chaos, people close to me can say evil things to my face to try to stir up old dramas or attempt to open up healed wounds and I still have inner peace. How can that be you ask? Because I've been Spiritually HEALED. That is the beauty of knowing God. He's not some mysterious force outside of you. If God is energy and the source of all things and you are also energy, then that would mean that you are a part of Him, right? Connect to your SOURCE and choose LIFE!

You know after I had my experience, I had family members and friends try to get me to try this religion or that spiritual group etc. I would tell them that I have never belonged to any group why would I want to start now. Then they tried the alternative and tell me that my thinking was all wrong. I would tell them it's not a way of thinking. Geez! It's a way of BEING, living, breathing, walking in God's love, peace and LIGHT!

The point I'm trying to make from my friends and family experience is that the ONE thing I am absolutely secure in and that nobody can take away from me is God's love for me and my love for God. My experience is mine alone and nobody can ever ever change that...

I want to introduce you to this man because his teachings are quite profound. He is one of many great teachers throughout history that help change human consciousness. Although, I do wish many of you would get past the religious zealots and open your heart and mind to Jesus (Yehshua). I can honestly guarantee that He is very real.

I'd like to explain why I am exposing you to many different teachings. You see my mom was raised Catholic and always felt like she was either going to heaven or hell no in between. So she decided NOT to baptize me and to allow me to choose what spiritual path I wanted when I felt I was ready. She figured Jesus didn't get baptized until he was 30 years old so it couldn't be a sin. My mom however did raise me with a strong foundation of love, values and principles. I am grateful to my mom for making this decision on my behalf. I am also extremely grateful to my mom for NOT raising me in a sheltered environment...

So in order to find myself I began my quest at an early age studying all religions, philosophy and quasi spiritual teachings. I have the utmost respect for them all. The funny thing is that they all teach you the same thing, perhaps in different ways. But the central theme or core if you will are love, respect, compassion and self awareness. I am happy to say that I have now grown into my own spiritual awareness and I do have my own personal relationship with God. However, my journey does not end there... the learning is infinite!

That in itself is what I hope to accomplish with this blog, helping others achieve a higher level of awareness, self discovery and love for oneself and all things. So with all this being said, allow your spiritual journey to begin now, not tomorrow, or the next day. Because today is all you have now and tomorrow is not guaranteed.

This is NOT something that should be taken lightly as many have this past week. This threat to our FREEDOM is very real folks. These radical muslim extremist see us in the Western World as the threat against their way of life and they'll sacrifice their own lives for this deeply demented cause. It kills me to hear them evoke God's name for the atrocities these radical muslim extremist are committing ALL AROUND THE WORLD. While there may be nutjobs in every religion, they are the only religion who recruit SUICIDE BOMBERS (Jihadist) and are GUILTY of KILLING THOUSANDS of INNOCENT SOULS around the WORLD. The ONLY RELIGION. This is a known FACT and we need to STOP sugar coating it and pretending these psychopaths don't exist. Because guess what as we just found out this past week, these psychopaths are very very real and they walk among us.

Do you know what disturbs me the most? The fact that our government agencies have FAILED US AGAIN! You would think after 9/11 our secret service would have wised up. Our government even created a Homeland Security Taskforce. WOW! Just WOW! They care more about people like me who have the RIGHT to speak up against our government policies and consider me a terrorist. President Obama, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Chuck Schumer, MSNBC, CNN, The New York Times, etc. have referred to us in the Tea Party movement (Taxed Enough Already) as TERRORISTS. WOW! Just WOW! And all the while, this Major Hasan was plotting this SUICIDE SHOOTING right under their noses. What's worse, they even knew about it.

And shame on most of you in the media for sympathizing with Major Hasan and not referring to him as the SUICIDE SHOOTER, the Jihadist that he was. You wackjobs have even made EXCUSES for Major Hasan's massacre. Let me remind you that you spent weeks referring to Dr. Tiller's murderer as an anti-abortion TERRORIST and NOT ONCE have you referred to Major Hasan as a Jihadist TERRORIST. Why is that? Major Hasan MURDERED in COLD BLOOD 13 soldiers and an unborn child and WOUNDED 30 soldiers. By the way Major Hasan was very LUCID when he went in with two guns blazing. Most SUICIDE Jihadist are when sent on a mission. He thought for sure he would be killed after killing as many soldiers as he could. I thank God for not letting him off that easy.

I am grateful to the Muslim community who found the courage to publicly speak out and condemn the evil act of terror Major Hasan committed against our soldiers. I'm sure I can speak for the rest of the world and say that nobody takes issue with the Qur'an or the Muslim community in general. You have the right to practice your religion and worship however you please. However, and I hope that you agree, these islamic extremist have to be STOPPED for everyone's sake. They don't RESPECT LIFE at all. God is LIFE. Therefore, they do not RESPECT GOD.

Their secularism has brought with it skepticism in thought, confusion in values, expediency in standards, vulgarity in behaviour, and opportunism in diplomacy. Modern man has learned to fly through the air like a bird and swim through the oceans like a fish, but he has failed to learn how to live on the Earth like a human being.

The political system in Islam is to help those it governs be successful in the practice of a right Islamic way of life. “And grant from Thee a ruling authority as an aid for me,”(17:80). An Islamic world society cannot have a secular political system. For the Islamic world to exist there must be an Islamic State.

It is not difficult to define an Islamic State. An Islamic State is one, which opts to conduct its affairs in accordance with the revealed guidance of Islam, which accepts the sovereignty of God in all matters, and devotes its efforts and resources to ensuring the existence of a right society living in accordance with the Will of God.

BATES CITY, Mo. -- Five family members were arrested on Tuesday in connection with child sex crimes, authorities said.

KMBC's Martin Augustine reported that officers with the Rural Missouri Major Case Squad searched a home and land south of Bates City.

Burrell Edward Mohler Sr., 77, of Independence, was charged with rape of a child younger than 12, felony rape and use of a child in a sexual performance.

Burrell Edward Mohler Jr., 53, of Independence, was charged with deviate sexual assault with a child less than 14 and felony use of a child in a sexual performance.

David A. Mohler, 52, of Lamoni, Iowa, was charged with forcible rape with a child less than 12 by use of forcible compulsion.

Jared Leroy Mohler, 48, of Columbia, Mo., was charged with felony of forcible rape with a child less than 12, forcible sodomy and use of a child in a sexual performance.

Roland Neil Mohler, 47, of Bates City, was chargd with use of a child in a sexual performance.

All five suspects are being held at the Lafayette County Jail.

Neighbors said they were surprised by the charges against Burrell Edward Mohler Sr. They called him a good man who looked after a disabled daughter.

"I'm stunned. It's hard to believe. I'm just stunned," neighbor Deborah Burris said.

Court records show that some of the charges against the five men date back to 1991 and 1995, and at least six of the counts date back to 1988.

As the U.S. military and law enforcement were scrambling to save lives after a deadly shooting rampage at Ft. Hood, Texas, President Obama opened his remarks Thursday with a two-minute "shout out" to audience members who attended the Tribal Nations Conference hosted by the Interior Department.

Obama's initial comments on the shooting that killed 13 and wounded scores of others came at the conclusion of Thursday's conference, which was attended by leaders from several of the 564 federally recognized American Indian tribes.

"I planned to make some broader remarks," he told the crowd. "But as some of you might have heard there has been a tragic shooting at the Fort Hood Army base in Texas."

The president's words on the deadly rampage came two minutes after he gave a "shout out" to an audience member and stressed the need to pass health care reform.

"I hear that Dr. Joe Medicine Crow was around, and so I want to give a shout out to that Congressional Medal of Honor winner. It’s good to see you," he said.

On Friday, Obama opened his remarks at a brief press conference in the White House Rose Garden in which he warned the American public against "jumping to conclusions" over the motives of the shooter.

"This morning I met with FBI Director Mueller and the relevant agencies to discuss their ongoing investigation into what caused one individual to turn his gun on fellow servicemen and women," he said. "We don't know all of the answers yet, and I would caution against jumping to conclusions until we have all of the facts."

MARTINEZ — Charges for a Richmond man connected to the gang rape of a Richmond High School student outside a homecoming dance indicate his alleged involvement differed from five other defendants facing stiffer punishment, though prosecutors are not saying how.

Elvis Josue Torrentes, 21, was charged Thursday with sexual penetration of an incapable person, rape by a foreign object in concert and forcible rape in concert — punishable by up to 26 years in prison.

His five co-defendants, however, are facing life in prison, each charged with a special charge enhancement that alleges they "personally" and physically committed the assault. Prosecutors will not discuss the facts of the case or each defendants' alleged role in the rape, citing the ongoing investigation.

Pinole resident Marcelles Peter, 17, and San Pablo residents Cody Ray Smith, 15, and Ari Morales, 16, are each charged with rape by a foreign object in concert and an enhancement of personally committing sexual penetration by force. Morales is also charged with second-degree robbery.

Manuel Ortega, 19, of Richmond, is charged with second-degree robbery causing great bodily injury, assault causing great bodily injury, rape in concert, and an enhancement for personally inflicting great bodily injury.

Jose Carlos Montano, 18, of Richmond, is charged with rape in concert, rape by a foreign object in concert, and two charge enhancements for personally committing rape and personally committing sexual penetration by force.

Prosecutors said the brutality of the crime lead them to charge the juvenile suspects as adults.

The 16-year-old victim was hospitalized for several days after, police said, numerous men and boys raped her — while others watched — in a dark courtyard at Richmond High School during a homecoming dance Oct. 24. The girl was assaulted for two hours before word of the assault reached a young woman in the neighborhood who called 911.

All six defendants are due back in court on Tuesday. Only one, Smith, has so far entered a plea — not guilty.

This is unbelievable! The leader of our country, the Commander-In-Chief isn't outraged at what happened at Fort Hood? Major Nadil Malik Hasan committed an ACT of TERROR on the largest U.S. military base for heaven's sake. His loyalty was clearly NOT with the United States that he swore allegiance to defend when he signed up for military service. His loyalty and allegiance was with the Muslim EXTREMIST CAUSE! He didn't have post traumatic stress disorder, he never went to Afghanistan nor Iraq. This crazy person bought a gun and went to a shooting range weeks before to prepare for this day. He premeditated this shooting spree that KILLED 13 un-armed innocent people, 1 was pregnant returning home from Afghanistan and 30 un-armed innocent people were INJURED. This psychopath would have KILLED more with his automatic weapon and pistol if given a chance. Fortunately, police responded quickly and he was shot down.

Just before he began shooting he shouted "Allahu Akbar!" — an Arabic phrase for "God is great!" then started shooting. HELLO! How obvious is that Mr. President? He was a flagrant SUICIDE SHOOTER! Whether he made this decision to sacrafice his life for the extremist cause on his own or was encouraged by other muslim extremist is irrelevant! This ACT is absolutely UNACCEPTABLE and you should as our President make that very clear to people here in the United States and to the rest of the World. My gosh these SOLDIERS were KILLED on American soil and at a U.S. military base no less!

No one cares if somebody is a practicing Muslim, this is America where we have FREEDOM of religion. Nevertheless, what concerns Americans are these crazy radical psychopathic Muslims who are INTENT on self-sacrificing mass murders of Americans! Fort Hood: Obama urges caution amid fears of backlash against Muslims

Barack Obama today joined calls from across America for calm amid fears of a backlash in the wake of the shooting spree by a Muslim soldier at the Fort Hood that left 13 dead and 28 wounded.

Obama, speaking in the White House Rose Garden after being briefed by the FBI, sought to dampen tensions, as did politicians from both the Democratic and Republican parties, the military, Muslim associations and the family of the alleged shooter, Major Nadil Malik Hasan.

"I would caution against jumping to conclusions until we get all the facts," Obama said. The risk of a witchhunt rose today when the commander at the Fort Hood base, Lieutenant-General Robert Cone, disclosed that wounded soldiers said Hasan had shouted "Allahu Akbar" before opening fire on unarmed soldiers at the Texas base.

The troops, from 12 different units across the US, had been receiving final medical checks before deployment to Iraq and Afghanistan.

Hasan, 39, was initially reported by the military to have been killed but hours later officials confirmed he was still alive, though wounded. He was on a ventilator today.

The trained military psychiatrist had been due to be deployed to Afghanistan later this year and had been desperately trying to get out of it.

As the initial shock of the massacre began to wear off today, a bout of national soul-searching began about the mental strain caused to troops fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan, in particular as a result of multiple tours of duty.

Although the vast majority of Muslims in the US are fully integrated, websites on major newspapers sites quickly filled with hate mail questioning their loyalty.

There have been only a few incidents since 9/11 of troops from a Muslim background killing comrades, and nothing near this scale.

Obama's call for patience, saying there were still too many unanswered questions, was echoed by Republican and Democratic leaders in Congress, and by the Pentagon.

In a statement, Hasan's family said his actions were "despicable and deplorable". "His actions did not reflect how they were raised in the US," they said.

Janet Napolitano, the homeland security secretary, joined the calls for patience. "That investigation is under way by law enforcement authorities, and let's let that be the number one priory in terms of ascertaining what motivations he had," she said in a television interview.

Obama ordered flags across the country to be flown at half-staff in tribute to the dead. The president was scheduled to visit Walter Reed military hospital today, where coincidentally Hasan previously worked as a psychiatrist.

Twelve of the dead were soldiers, with one lone civilian.

Dozens of grief counsellors were being sent to Fort Hood to help the families of the dead. The FBI was today going through Hasan's apartment and office to see whether there is a clue to his motivation on his computer, as well as from his phone records.

Investigators were by his bedside, hoping to interview him when he regained consciousness. He took four bullets from a policewoman, Kimberly Munley, 34, who was wounded in the encounter.

"She happened to encounter the gunman. In an exchange of gunfire, she was wounded but managed to wound him four times," Cone said. "It was an amazing and aggressive performance by this police officer."

Soldiers said that Hasan had two handguns, including a semi-automatic, and shot down troops in clusters. Cone said one soldier who had been shot told him: "I made the mistake of moving and I was shot again."

Hasan had been in uniform at the time.

Questions were raised about why the FBI had not pursued postings on a website from a person identified as Hasan who appeared to express sympathy for suicide bombings.

Video footage at a grocery store showed him relaxed, buying goods as normal. But his behaviour then changed, going home to clear out his flat and the usually reclusive figure went round his neighbours distributing groceries from his kitchen and handing out Qur'ans.

CLEVELAND — Authorities say Anthony Sowell lured women into his home in a busy neighborhood, killed them — most by strangulation — and scattered their remains throughout the inside and buried some in the backyard.

Such brazenness defies logic, but experts identify a narrow subcategory of serial killers, including the 1893 Chicago Fair killer, Dr. H.H. Holmes, and Milwaukee cannibal Jeffrey Dahmer, who hunt from home.

"These types are so rare that you can't make a summary estimation as to why or what went wrong or anything," said Robert Keppel, a national serial-killer expert who investigated serial killer Ted Bundy in Washington state in the 1970s.

"There's just not a whole lot of these folks running around the world," he said.

Sowell had the perfect lair.

His home and backyard — a burial site for five victims — were shielded by an empty home to the left and the windowless brick wall of a sausage company on the right.

Anytime the stench of decaying bodies blew over the street, neighbors blamed the meat processing next door.

His house stood out only because it was one of the nicest on a block dotted by homes with peeling paint and broken windows, some of them vacant.

It looked safe.

Sowell often sat on the front steps, sipping beer out of a bottle and greeting residents passing by on their way to the corner store that was just steps away for alcohol, snacks and cigarettes.

Neighbors say he'd offer a few the chance to get high.

Sowell's alleged approach reflects an obvious point, said forensic psychologist N.G. Berrill: the potential role of mental illness in such unusual behavior.

"The fact that they would dirty their own nest, as it were, is peculiar to me and suggests a level of mental illness or sickness," said Berrill, director of the New York Center for Neuropsychology and Forensic Behavioral Science.

Tanja Doss told The Associated Press that when she went up to Sowell's third-floor bedroom for a drink last April, he attacked her. "I'm sitting on the corner of the bed and he just leaped up and came over and started choking me," she said.

She said she escaped the next morning when he left for the store.

When people think of serial killers, they imagine predators like Bundy, who stalked women and killed women in Washington, Oregon, Utah, Idaho, Colorado and finally Florida.

In Milwaukee, Dahmer, a former candy factory worker, confessed to killing and dismembering 17 people since 1978, some of whom he mutilated and cannibalized. His victims included 11 males whose remains were found in his apartment.

Dahmer was serving a series of life sentences when he was killed by another inmate at a Wisconsin prison in 1994.

The crimes that Sowell is accused of put him in the same category as Gacy and Dahmer, said Jack Levin, a Northeastern University criminologist.

At the same time, the Cleveland murders resemble the more general portrait of a serial killer who doesn't stray far from his comfort zone.

"They never leave town. They never travel to another state. They stay close to home, where they're familiar with the victims and escape routes and dump sites," Levin said.

Hunting from home may have been easier because of the marginal lives led by Sowell's alleged victims. All four of the Cleveland women identified until now battled addiction in their lives.

Sowell, 50, remained in jail Saturday on a $5 million bond on charges of rape and aggravated murder.

Three men face decades in prison after pleading guilty in separate cases to multiple crimes against children, and in one case injuries that resulted in death.

Michael Wayne Garrard, Timothy Carl Eaton and Scott Allen Prestridge are in Potter County Detention Center awaiting transport to state prison after recent court appearances.

"I feel extremely good for the children of the state of Texas; they will be locked up for a long time," said 47th District Attorney Randall Sims, whose office prosecuted the cases.

Garrard, 34, pleaded guilty Monday to a charge of recklessly causing serious bodily injury to a child in connection with the death of Evyn William Vaughn, a 14-month-old boy who died in April 2007 after being left in Garrard's care. Garrard was sentenced to 20 years in prison, the maximum allowed.

An autopsy on Evyn's body showed an injury to the inside of his mouth, numerous bruises on his back and left leg along with bruising to his ears, scalp and ribs.

Eaton and Prestridge, both registered sex offenders, received lengthy sentences for injuries and sexual assaults of children based on guilty pleas entered last week.

Eaton, 24, pleaded guilty to five sex-related offenses involving a 6-year-old girl who told school officials she had been assaulted by a family friend.

He received 50 years in prison on four charges and 20 years in prison on the fifth charge, to be served concurrently. [Now that's what I'm talkin' about! Justice for the children. Every state should follow suit.]

Eaton will not be eligible for parole until at least 25 years are served, Sims said.

When the assaults occurred in August 2008, Eaton was on deferred adjudication probation for failure to register as a sex offender, based on a 1999 offense committed as a juvenile.

Prestridge, 23, pleaded guilty to two charges of injury to a child/enhanced, and two charges of aggravated sexual assault of a child younger than 6 years old.

Sims said the victim and her mother moved to Amarillo from Wisconsin in the spring after the mother met Prestridge online. In July, police found the child with bruises, bite marks and an untreated broken arm.

Last year Prestridge received five years deferred adjudication probation on a charge of failure to register as a sex offender.

The conviction last year resulted from an offense he committed as a juvenile in the mid-1990s.

Proceedings are under way to revoke his probation on the latest failure-to-register charge, Sims said.

A Summerville woman accused of killing a 3-year-old girl entrusted to her care told police she had whipped her multiple times with a belt after she had urinated on the floor, according to court records.

Erica Mae Butts, 23, is charged with homicide by child abuse in the death of Serenity Richardson.

Serenity's body was found at Butts' residence about 7 p.m. Tuesday after Butts' mother dialed 911 and said the child was not breathing, according to court records. Summerville firefighters were first to arrive and found the child in full cardiac arrest. An unidentified woman inside the house told a paramedic the girl was sitting in a chair, fell backward and struck her head, the police report says.

The baby was pronounced dead at 8:05 p.m.

Doctors and nurses at the hospital saw cuts and bruises on Serenity's chest, abdomen, legs, arms, feet and back. The police report said there was a large bruise on her head and a large burn mark on her right leg.

An autopsy determined that the cause of death was "full body blunt force trauma," the warrant says.

In addition to telling police she had whipped the child, Butts also told them Serenity had fallen and hit her head several times and that 30 minutes after her last fall, Serenity's breathing became shallow, court records said.

At that point Butts called her mother, who lives in Goose Creek, for help.

Butts and Serenity's mother, Ieshia Richardson, were best friends, according to Richardson.

Butts' lawyer, Christopher Lizzi, said Butts was Serenity's godmother. It is not clear why or how long the child had been staying with Butts at her home in the Lakes of Summerville subdivision.

The bond hearing was the first opportunity for Ieshia Richardson to deal publicly with her child's death.

She was at her home in Detroit, when she spoke to The Post and Courier on Wednesday and said she had hoped to be able to attend the hearing.

The bond hearing was held via a closed-circuit television system.

Woman who starved stepdaughter sentenced to prison

A Carnation-area woman, who isolated and starved her stepdaughter until the girl weighed just 48 pounds at the age of 14, was sentenced Friday afternoon to three years and five months in prison.

The sentence was far below what the victim, now 15, had asked the judge to impose on her stepmother, Rebecca Long. The girl sought a sentence of 11 years: "One for every year she made me feel ashamed of myself and abused me."

Long, 45, was arrested last year after authorities went to the home she shared with her husband to check on the then-14-year-old girl. Jon Pomeroy, Long's estranged husband, was also arrested and has since been sentenced to three years and five months in prison.

Earlier this fall, Long entered an Alford plea to a charge of first-degree criminal mistreatment. In the plea, Long, did not admit guilt but acknowledged a jury would likely convict them at trial.

While prosecutors sought a high-end sentence of more than three years in prison, Long's attorney asked that she be released into mental-health treatment, without serving prison time.

King County sheriff's deputies discovered the malnourished girl Aug. 13, 2008, after they were called to the home at the request of Child Protective Services. The girl was only 4-feet-7 and weighed just 48 pounds when she was found.

Investigators say that Long allowed the teen only half a Dixie cup of water a day and supervised the girl's showers and toothbrushing so she could not sneak a drink. The girl said once she was so thirsty she drank from the toilet but was caught.

The girl, who is not being named to protect her identity, attempted to testify when her father was sentenced in September, but broke down in tears. In a letter she wrote to the judge before Pomeroy's sentencing, the girl said that she was deprived of a normal childhood because her father allowed himself to be manipulated by her stepmother.

"My whole point here is the fact I felt Rebecca was manipulating dad to believe I was Satan and that he wanted to believe it," the girl wrote. "That he would believe such a thing was the heartbreaking part to me."

Defense attorney Robert Wayne said that Long has battled mental illness for years and suffered abuse at the hands of Pomeroy, the girl's father.

Because of Long's "fragile" mental state, Wayne had earlier asked Superior Court Judge William Downing to allow her to skip a portion of the sentencing hearing. In court Friday morning, Long told Downing that she was afraid things would be said in court that would cause her to "freak out" and be "disruptive." [Can you believe the court had more sympathy for this monster than the abused child?!!!]

Downing agreed to the request and Long remained in a jury room attached to the courtroom when her mental health was discussed during the Friday afternoon sentencing hearing.

Fort Hood shooter bought ‘cop killer’ gun legally

WASHINGTON — A 5.7-millimeter pistol used in the Fort Hood shooting was purchased legally by suspect Nidal Hasan at a Texas gun shop, law enforcement officials said today.

The officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the case.

Records indicate Hasan bought the FN 5.7 at store called "Guns Galore" in Killeen, Texas, well before the attack that left 13 people dead, one of the officials said. The pistol has been dubbed a "cop killer" by those who have tried to stop its use.

The most powerful type of ammunition for the gun is available only to law enforcement and military personnel. Gun control advocates call it a "cop killer" weapon because that ammo can pierce bulletproof vests, and its use by Mexican drug cartels worries police.

It is not clear what kind of ammunition was used in the Fort Hood attack. One official said the store records do not indicate Hasan purchased any ammo when he bought the gun.
