Oh, the fevered insanity of the Left...

As Democratic politicians' calls for the abolition of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) grow intensely loud, a video of liberals protesting the agency as they break up a child sex-trafficking ring has resurfaced online.

CBS San Francisco reported in August of 2017 that federal agents served a search warrant on a Guatemalan immigrant family home in Oakland in connection with an ​investigation concerning the sex trafficking of juveniles. The human trafficking operation was later confirmed by authorities.

Amazingly, as ICE officers were literally breaking up the child prostitution operation, they were being protested against by liberal neighbors who demonized the agency and advocated for the "rights" of illegal immigrants.

Oakland is designated a "sanctuary city" for illegals.

Hadar Cohen, a female neighbor protesting ICE during the raid, told local news that she woke up to her roommate crying due to the agents' cars being outside their residence.

"It’s been really tough because we have no idea what’s going on in there, and we that there’s a lot of injustices that have been happening," said Cohen, a "No person is illegal" sign in-hand. "We care for our neighbors, and we for immigration rights."

Another neighbor told a reporter of his disdain for President Donald Trump and said ICE is not welcome in the United States.

Others protesting held a "We love our neighbors" banner and wrote messages in chalk on the sidewalk and driveways, such as "Oakland PD is a disgrace."

Even after neighbors were informed that the raid was about sex-trafficking and not immigration, the ICE-bashing continued, notes The Federalist. "ICE is not welcome in this country. H.S. is not welcome," said one neighbor. "I don’t support what they do. I think it is a blasphemy."

Socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who is apparently the "future" of the Democrat Party, has called for the abolition of ICE. Following suit, Senator Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY), Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), Senator Kamala Harris (D-CA), and other prominent Democrats have made similar demands. Senator Warren, for example, said ICE must be replaced "with something that reflects our values."

As the national debate on immigration continues to heat up, video from last year has resurfaced of neighbors protesting U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and Homeland Security agents as they broke up a child sex-trafficking ring in California.

People in the West Oakland neighborhood of Oakland, Calif. woke up early one morning last year when they heard ICE agents raiding one of the houses and assumed the agents were arresting illegal immigrants, according to the video from a local CBS News outlet.

The protesters, who crowded around the house, were apparently not given any information by the agents about what was happening.

“It’s been really tough because we have no idea what’s going on in there, and we know that there’s a lot of injustices that have been happening,” said Hadar Cohen, who held a sign reading, “No person is illegal.”

“We care for our neighbors, and we’re for immigration rights.”

The Oakland Police Department confirmed to the CBS station that the operation had nothing to do with immigration enforcement and the agents were acting on a federal search warrant obtained during an ongoing criminal investigation into juvenile sex trafficking.

ICE was seen leading two people out of the house with blankets over their heads to protect their identities.

“ICE is not welcome in this country. HS is not welcome,” said another neighbor, Adley Penner. “I don’t support what they do. I think it is a blasphemy.”

Protesters also wrote, “We love our neighbors” and “OPD [Oakland Police Department] is a disgrace” on the ground in chalk.

Several politicians have called for scrapping ICE recently after outrage over the Trump administration’s “zero tolerance” policy for illegal immigrants, which resulted in children being separated from their parents as the adults were prosecuted.

Democrat Kirsten Gillibrand of New York became the first sitting senator to support abolishing the agency last week. “I believe you should get rid of it, start over, reimagine it and build something that actually works,” she said in announcing her stance. She was soon joined by Senator Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts.

“People are smuggled and trafficked, while children are sexually exploited at home and abroad,” ICE’s website states. “Most ICE offices and programs have a role in preventing terrorism. Several are on the front lines of this effort, either identifying dangerous persons before they enter the U.S. or finding them as they violate immigration or customs laws. ICE also works to prevent the illegal export of U.S. technology that could be used or repurposed to do harm.”

Democratic National Committee (DNC) Chairman Tom Perez said Tuesday that Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez "represents the future of our party." Ocasio-Cortez, a self-proclaimed democratic socialist, ousted Rep. Joe Crowley (D-NY), in the Democratic primary for New York's 14th Congressional district last week. In an interview with radio host Bill Press, Perez praised her "spirited campaign" and relayed the "excitement" his daughters had in response to Ocasio-Cortez's victory.
Above is a tweet from New York Local Democrat Socialists. This is what has taken over the Democratic party. The Chairman of the DNC said in the video I shared above that this is the future of their party. Meaning that's what they want you to vote for at the coming elections.

Such positions are not only irrational but impractical, right? How can any nation survive without borders — and those who enforce border security? Don’t prisons keep bad, dangerous people off the streets and good people safe? Why is cash bail a bad thing; isn’t it better than no bail, ever? And without profits, how will companies sustain themselves and pay employees? PROFIT is what allows a business to expand and HIRE NEW EMPLOYEES or give employees a raise, build new factories, open new stores.

Other positions taken by the DSA include free college, free healthcare, guaranteed government jobs, and other entitlements that, frankly, are not economically sustainable (see Venezuela, Cuba). Nothing is “free;” somebody pays for everything. And like Lady Margaret Thatcher once said, “The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people’s money.”

One last thing I want to point out, it makes no sense that anyone support Marxist Socialism/Communism, even Islamism, when people ESCAPE THOSE NATIONS ruled by Marxist Socialism/Communism, even Islamism to come here for a better life because it's MISERABLE LIVING under Marxist Socialism/Communism, even Islamism. These Marxist in America want to turn our home, America, into a hellhole too. Then where the hell are we going to go to escape their newly established hellhole? We have nowhere to go. Unless, of course, you're wealthy, then you can go anywhere on this planet. But the rest of us, would have nowhere else to go.
