This is Colossal

Created from nearly 4,000 pieces of metal scraps, Aslan (Turkish for Lion), is a recent sculpture by Istanbul-based artist Selรงuk Yฤฑlmaz. The piece took nearly a year of work and involved hand-cutting and hammering of each individual metal piece. The final work weighs roughly 550 pounds (250kg). While we’ve seen dozens of artists use multiple components to create a final form, it’s worth noting how well the bent mental lends itself to the final shape of this impressive cat. You can see much more of his work on Behance.

Wow, this sculpture is beautiful too. I came across this video while looking for the video I shared related to the lion metal sculpture.

Since I'm sharing metal sculptures, I had to share this amazing fairy stainless steel wire sculptor with you. I came across his artwork on Facebook a couple years ago. I also follow Fantasy Wire Ltd on Twitter and Instagram. I just love all of his fairy artwork. ๐Ÿ’–๐Ÿ˜Š

I do not get paid by any of these people. I'm sharing what I think is beautiful with you. If you like it, great. If you don't, that's okay too.
