ANGOLA: 25 Illegal Citizens From The Democratic Republic Of Congo (DRC) Were Repatriated In Uige

Maquela Do Zombo — At least twenty-five citizens from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) in illegal status in the country, were repatriated today (Monday) in Maquela do Zombo by immigration authorities, through the border post of Kimbata.

ANGOP learned from the acting Head of the SME (Migration and Foreigners Service) of Maquela do Zombo, Josรฉ Jรบnior, they are about 17 men and eight women held between 1st and 6th July in different districts of that county, in transit to the city of Uige and later advancing to Luanda.

On the other hand, Josรฉ Jรบnior indicated that 12 other citizens from DRC were denied entry into national territory, 11 through Kimbata and other through Beu, for lack of necessary documentation to that effect.
